I very rarely write a review bit feel I need to after visiting Moorish in Darwin. We tried our luck as a walk in last Friday when Restaurant was busy! Staff found us a table, service was impeccable and the food was fresh and tasty. Would thoroughly recommend when back in Darwin. Excellent.

A very busy one in CBD, it is quiter at lunch time. It is better to make reservations for dinner because they are usually full. Prices are a bit steep but the food is nice. Lovely tapas

The Meryl Streep(esque) lady, who we had take care our orders this evening could do no wrong. Her ability to care for a single booking while maintaining acknowledgement for every other guest (at the same time) was next level. We arrived without a booking and the entire team made no stress over finding us a suitable dinner space, despite being fully booked for the evening. The quality of the food served and the timely manner it arrived was outstanding, especially with the number of order places by the large number of patrons. Ordering almost one of every tapas item available and counting for dietary requirements the team and at Moorish Cafe, surpassed our pickiest of eaters. We will definitely be returning!

Hip with locals, a little expensive but tasty. Ordered the middle eastern spice lamb, the sushi and dessert with wine (122$). Efficient, friendly and informative service. Longmille wine available. Comfortable and private. Easy place to enjoy a good meal. Good for a date, but check menu prices before going.

Our first Tapas experience at Moorish was amazing. Loved the food, the customer service and the atmosphere. The NT Banana prawns with coconut & garlic.. amazing. Had to order more pita bread to soak up all those amazing flavours. Another stand out dish was the Roast pumpkin dried figs and blue cheese in brown butter dressing....And the Portuguese Tart Omg ! Beautiful ! Definitely recommend this place.

We went for dinner here recently as it had great reviews. Though the place was packed (definitely need to book in advance), the service was quick and good. The tapas were hit and miss with some tasting amazing (bone marrow, white anchovies) and some missing the mark (patas bravas - grilled potatoes with cold tomato sauce on top). Good place to try new dishes but considering it's Mediterranean tapas themed, we weren't overly impressed.

Absolutely stunning food with many vegetarian options. Very unique tapas unlike anything I’ve ever tried before! The pumpkin in blue cheese sauce and the goats cheese tart was to die for. Highly recommend going here if you’re in Darwin.

The Tapas and share plates were excellent as was the service and ambience, we had a great night, the food cost was just under $60 for the 2 of us and we were too full to consider sharing a dessert. The Alegre Rioja was perfect. We will go back, highly recommended.

Great tapas !!!! Lovely dishes !!!! Only annoying thing is that they can't split the bill. We had a party and no one got cash out because they weren't informed when they booked they there was no split bills. You would see how expensive that was for someone to pay haha. Anyway that's the only thing that was negative about this place overall yummy yummy in my tummy !!!

He seemed like he didn't want to be there and only cared about getting things done as appose to being welcoming polite and hospitable. It was really good. The food was spectacular. The steak was the best we've ever had, cooked to perfection. Everything was top quality, except for the toilets. Really needs to keep up with the 15-30 minute cleaning. It's many months since I've seen so many paper towels strewn all over the floors, with overflowing bin, and toilet seat needed clean, which I did. Service was good, our drink order was forgotten a few times but we survived. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Really nice people running the joint.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas here. The restaurant is super popular (not surprising based on the quality of the food, cocktails and service). The waiting staff were really attentive and friendly. Amazing food but service was a bit off and drinks were really slow. The policy of no split bills is taken to extremes with the total not even payable across two credit cards so unless you carry cash, one person has to pay the whole bill on one card. Won't be heading back there when we will be dining with others

Wow! Where do I start... the service was phenomenal from all staff. The food was amazing, and left you wanting more, even though you're already full. Highly recommend the Sangria, pita and hummus, jew fish, pumpkin, eggplant. The specials for the evening, pumpkin bread with dukkah, and the scallops were both delicious. We didn't book a table for two, but we were lucky to turn up at the right time. Twenty minutes after being seated the place filled up, the service didn't drop, but it definitely suggests that bookings are key if you want a table. Very popular place. Highly recommend.

Been here twice now, both times it has been faultless- the food, service and the price! $25 for lunch - 3 tapas plates plus a sangria. The perfect amount of food (still full...). This place is heaven on earth. Fantastic from the moment you walk in until you leave. Staff are friendly and know what they are talking about, the place has a really great feel about it. The food is second to none. I saw someone complain about the sizing, it's Tapas, what did they expect? The wine menu has excellent contrast and there are some delicious selections to choose from. Rushed through, there is no appreciation of the tappas experience and time, $9 for 2 very small pieces of kangaroo, service is about efficiency not customer experience. I eat at Darwin city restaurants 12 nights a month and this restaurant won't be a regular. Having said that, this restaurant is very popular and the taste of the overpriced tappas is very good.
