m. c.Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal here. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat.

T. C.I ate at Outback Steaks & Curry 3 times during my week long stay in Darwin. Having the Chicken Parmy dinner special, the Lamb Korma curry and the Croc burger lunch special. Very tasty food and fast service. All meals are very reasonably priced especially the lunch specials which all float around the $10.95 mark, which for Darwin is a certified bargain. Daily cocktail specials only $11.95.
Iced water is brought to the table as soon as you sit down. An impressively large croc hangs from the ceiling and a nice painted mural of Uluru is on the back wall.
The staff are attentive, super friendly and polite.
The best part is this restaurant's proximity to the Hilton - its right next door barely 30m away from the entrance. Great if you get back to the hotel late and aren't keen on wandering around the city after dark.
Only recommendation would be to change the elevator musak played at dinner time, it seemed to be the Titanic soundtrack! A bit naff!

D. D.I went for the $35 all-you-can-eat ribs and Wings deal. It was OK. I ordered the wings "hot" but they were average. The ribs were good. Could have done with some more sauce. The deal is you need to eat everything on the plate before you order a new one and that includes the chips, and they put lots of tips on the plate. You need to be on your game to knock it all off. I came home and ate chocolate...

H.I had one of the best steaks here yesterday. I was with 2 other people people and we all ordered the wagyu in medium but all our steaks came out varying in pinkness. I would say mine was more medium well but I still really enjoyed it as the steak was very tender and well seasoned. I ordered my steak with the pepper sauce (very peppery, very yum!), steamed veg and mash. The sides were all cooked perfectly. To round it all off, service was brilliant. Staff were very friendly, quick and attentive - something hard to find these days. Would definitely be back for another steak and to try their curries.

K. B.Went there for dinner last night, we had booked ahead. They are adhering to COVID safe practices 🙂. We got straight in and seated, given cold water; ordered Great Ntn on tap but was informed keg playing up so we asked if they could give it to us in stubbies at the same price, not a problem whatsoever. I had the beef ribs and my other 1/2 had the lamb Rogan Josh; we enjoyed our feed. They swapped out the chips with the ribs without a problem as well. They are going to start doing a rib night on Sundays for I think $30; we'll be back for that, bit of a change up from Sunday roast. Thank you all for a thoroughly enjoy night.
P. m.Great food. Tried to conquer the 1kg steak challenge, couldn't quite do it... If your a big eater I highly recommend giving it a crack, you get the meal for free and a t-shirt if you smash it down in 20 min.

Decided to come back the following night after such a positive experience the first time and in hopes I could spend some quality time with my husband while the girls were distracted in the Kids Room before dinner. Unfortunately, it was hard to relax and spend family time together as the staff checked on our table one too many times, interrupting our family time. Very disappointed and possibly wont be coming back. You can have great food and atmosphere, but over waiting tables is what will loose you business. No one should EVER feel rushed to eat.

H. W.For our first tine in Australia we felt extremely welcomed by the lovely young lady named Ella, who was out waitress today for lunch. We stayed back for a few extra drinks and desserts after everyone left to get to know her a little better.
She is extremely mature for her age, well spoken, presented herself well and over all a very outspoken women. Although our pockets are feeling a little light after choosing all her recommendations on the menu, we feel very privileged to have had her as our waitress today. Thank you for your hospitality

Revisted the place 12 months later and did the 1kg steak, 500g veggies and 500g wedges challenge and smashed it. Aside from the fact that I was smashing food into my mouth, the bits I slowed down to enjoy were actually delicious

Had a meal and it was fine, unremarkable.
A couple of weeks later, I managed to get the toughest bit of beef, croc and Buffalo in trio of entree skewers ever. It was so tough I nearly needed dental work afterwards - Buffalo and steak in particular still were not directly trimmed. My mouth needed a test after just 3 "bites" and I don't know how you can stuff up Croc so badly though. To cap that, the steak I ordered was over done and the accompaniment was not correctly proportioned. I showed the staff and they did give a discount.
The next week, I had a meal and it was fine.
Have also ordered dinners 'to go', again just fine other than needing to order 2 sides because chips get a bit boring.
Would go again but suggest being 'smart' about what you order.

Service was pretty slow, 3 of the (simple) orders came out wrong in some way and one of the mains arrived 10 mins after the rest. I had a rib eye bone in which was a bit on the tough side. Mushroom sauce was goopy and unattractive.
