Wow, Pee Wee's is impressive. Good service, stunning views, and super fresh, delicious food. We enjoyed the tasting platter, fish for mains, and few desserts. I highly recommend the Ruby Red Tart to finish your meal. 👍 Be sure to make a reservation, especially if you want to see the sunset or just grab a table on the weekend.

Ok…Once you get the opportunity to dine here, do it. Your going to experience high fine dinning standards with incredible views. Only a very few restaurants in the world meet this caliber, so to have one here in Darwin you should save a few bucks and enjoy the date night out. Dress is not casual so please find your best frock or slacks and relax. The next hour or so you’ll be pampered with attention and gratitude while enjoying beautiful food with views. Just order their house wines as they are delicious and of very good Clair Valley quality & a standard price. I loved the little bits they add to your dinner, the try this entree complimentary, add this sorbet to cleanse your palette. These are the types of fancy tidbits you get in France. We sat inside and sadly didnt book early enough for the table right at the windows. But being such a hot night we wanted cold from air con. The tables outside were lovely and if you could turn the breezes on when you wanted them, then that would be lovely out there; especially during the dry. I look forward to going back to Pee Wees again soon.

Once again after the fourth visit this really clinches it for me - Pee Wee's is the pre-eminent restaurant in Darwin for several reasons: great cocktails, excellent wine list, very nicely curated menu with well-prepared dishes, amazing location with a great view of the bay and sea whilst being ensconced in one of Darwins greenest points. Quantities are good, flavours are rich but not overpowering, and the staff are very attentive. Prices are on the higher side, as expected, but well worth it. A definite must go and great for groups as well.

We came in without knowing we had the dates wrong. They were very accomadating and they found a seat within less 5min. While they had a function and still very busy. The food was absolutely amazing we had a seafood plate as a entrée and OMG loved it !! The mains was delicious. Tip* wouldn't recommend the wine we choose tho....

Pee Wee's was already our favourite restaurant but we can not rate them highly enough after they also helped us arrange our short notice elopement at their venue. Had our wedding reception here. (20 people) It was a small and intimate setting out on the grass. A nicely spread out 3 course meal with wine and beer flowing all night. Food was impeccable, service outstanding. Returned for our anniversary last year. Really beautiful evening. Food is incredible. 50 shades of chocolate dessert is the highlight!!

There are restaurants where you paid lot of money and at the end you feel that that huge amount was well spent and you feel satisfied. In Pee Wee's that is not the case, although the food was ok, at the end you will get the feeling that you just paid too much for what you ate. I didn't put less stars because the place is beautiful and has a very nice view.

What a wonderful birthday evening. New to the top end and a delightful dinner. Scallops were perfect as was the carpaccio and the lamb and pork memorable!!! Top class food(we are foodies)!! exceptional service, and lovely view. May we suggest(yes old school) use white tablecloths at night and buy new cutlery. It's been several years since I last visited but the extended dinning area is great. No sand flies. The service is fantastic and the staff friendly and very helpful. The food is always great and the chefs inventive. As I no longer eat meat it's nice to have dishes that are original not pasta or Dahl. The black bread rolls, stuffed with Mushrooms was a wonderful entree, followed by mains, miso eggplant was very tasty.

The service started well but quickly deteriorated, we felt rushed and they even turned the lights on at 9:30pm which was a dead give away to hurry up and get out. Pee Wee’s never disappoints. Recently renovated infrastructure provided a contemporary fine dining experience. Staff (special mention to Ronald) went out of their way to make our experience first class. The food was impeccable and advice on wine selection was spot on. Dry season weather put on the perfect sunset dinner worthy of every visitors photo frame. Surprise birthday treat at the end of the night topped off the evening.

Being brutal the food let us down a bit here... 8pm seafood platters all room temperature, which is a bit of a concern for oysters etc. Reality is we did not get sick, but I was fairly certain I would with the temperature of produce presented. The new renovations are beautiful. Lovely ambience. We went on a quiet night and they spaced out the patrons so we all had some privacy which was very nice. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars was that my dish had coriander in it but it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Some may say I should have asked or guessed that a herb salad would have it in. But had I read it I would have ordered something else. The pungent taste dominates whatever it is in. I look forward to the coriander fashion passing it has ruined so many meals for me.

The only problem with this magnificent restaurant is that its such a long way from Melbourne...but worth the drive. Our first port of call whenever we hit Darwin. Managed to celebrate Territory Day with dinner here, which is always a treat, and returned a few days later to enjoy the full a la carte menu. The food is always very good, as is the service, and the wine list is excellent. One of our favourite restaurants in Australia.

Pee Wee's has only recently reopened after a major renovation and its just amazing. This was the first time I'd been there so I can't comment on what it was like before the renovations. If you like a drink they have a very extensive drinks list from wines to spirits to beers to cocktails. The view over the water towards the city is uninterrupted and very beautiful. Our sitting was well after sunset but I'm sure the outside tables get a great view of it. We had the oysters for entrees and they were some of the best we'd ever had. My wife had the pork belly which was cooked to perfection as was the crackling, while I had the barramundi which was also delicious. We had the banana gateau and chocolate 15 ways for dessert and both were too die for. Just like the food the service was impeccable with waiters constantly topping up your water glass even if you're not their table. The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food on the menu. Even though it's a bit of a fancy place it still had a bit of a causal atmosphere, pretty much like the rest of Darwin, so no need to get too dressed up, unless you want to. There's plenty of parking and it's pretty easy to find. If you're thinking of going to Pee Wee's don't think about it just go. You'll have an amazing feed with amazing service with an amazing view. Can't rate this place high enough.

Pee Wee's is a beatiful relaxing venue. I can see why they host a lot of weddings there. I had read all the reviews and it was different to what I expected. I was expecting fine dining, tiny meal portions and a big bill at the end of it. But instead it was relaxed Darwin style outdoor dining with normal meal portions. The food was delicious and no different to other good quality restaurant pricing. I wish we had gone sooner and not waited for that "special occasion".

I grew up in Darwin, and I tell everyone if there is one restaurant you MUST check out it is Pee Wee’s at the Point. Great food and the best view in Darwin. I proposed to my fiancé here and the staff were wonderful, and the manager filmed the whole thing magnificently. I can’t rate this place high enough. Growing up I’ve been to Pee Wee’s multiple times and have never been let down.

If you want to feel like high society in Darwin, come to Pee Wee's. The staff treats you very well, and bring a sophisticated feel to the restaurant. The food is very good, be sure to try their specials, which are always changing. They have recently opened up a lounge area which serves small plates only, which is great because no reservations are necessary to be seated there. The view is the best one in Darwin. It overlooks the bay with the city skyline in the background. Don't miss this place.

I had visitors from Brisbane up for the weekend, so we attended Pee Wee's last night - Sunday, 24 May 2015. The food was great, the outlook was great - unfortunately the service was poor. After our main course, we were ignored and waited 30 minutes to have our table cleared of the plates. We had to ask for the dessert menu - then we were ignored for a further 15-20 minutes before we gave up and left. The restaurant was not crowded - there were plenty of empty tables. It is a pity that a local venue with such good food and outlook can't back it up with good service. I don't think I will be taking visitors there again.

I think that PeeWees has a gorgeous location in Darwin and excellent service. However I think that the food is just ok. It's beautifully presented but not as much love goes into the taste. They should offer better menu choices, especially in the fish area. I think if you are a tourist and want to go somewhere that has "Australian" stuff on the menu, this will be fun for you. We live in Darwin and I would eat here more if the menu was more dynamic.

Badly designed (not their fault - I am blaming the architects) I had better food in town. But still a good experience and worth a visit. The pear rocket salad had wilted and inedible. The complimentary Ceviche /Oka lacked life but welcoming. Sorbet palate cleanser was well made. Shame about the LED lighting poles as they disrupts the view and atmosphere , they should be reduced in height to about 120cm. ps mind the steps going down!

The Duck is very dry, not moist/juicy (and the most expensive item on the menu, so upset about that). We sat on the verandah near the door, and all we got was a bumpy ride. The verandah is unstable. Also, our table was too high, so made it uncomfortable to eat. Our view was some what blocked by a "larger" couple, need to reorganize tables so not to look over some ones shoulder. Dessert melted far too quickly as well. Go here for a once off event.

Excellent venue by the water (unsurprisingly this is also one of Darwin's top wedding spots given its location and well-designed layout. We ordered the tasting plate, and were impressed (i enjoyed the chicken liver pate, and the oysters had an interesting mignonette dressing which complemented the freshness; the fish were good too. For mains i had the roast duck, and it was delicious! The meat was nicely crisp on the outside and succulent inside, and the plum and berry compote was a great sauce to go with it. The dessert was a tad disappointing though - we had the mango puff. The pastry could have been fluffier and served warm, and the mango cream lighter and more mango-ey instead of tasting stiff and synthetic. The sorbet and coconut crumble was nice. Regardless, i would recommend this place and i would return if I'm in Darwin again. Staff was friendly and helpful too.
