This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool , the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is absolutely delicious and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

First time in Saffron Restaurant with one of my Hong Kong friend. It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Choice of Naan is to die for. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Awesome indian food I've had in a while great taste and great service, guy with a cap at the front staff was very friendly, happy and easy going. I really liked the atmosphere at saffron. Entrées and the lamb korma, goat curry and butter chicken was just amazing. Definetly going back for some more😋. I would highly recommened for you to try their food and great service.

Great catering provided for our backyard wedding/birthday party - held just after COVID lockdown, in the midst of restrictions placed on the number of guests allowed to attend. Happily adapted to constant changes in numbers, and provided fantastic food and great service. Really helped turn a challenging time into a perfect day. Thank you!

South Indian home "comfort food". The dal tadka.. I have been unwell for a few days, Dal that was soul food. Very nutritious and well made. Not too oily, the lentil was fresh enough.

We're from interstate and decided to get some Indian food for dinner while we were here. Had no idea what was good and what wasn't, read good reviews about Saffrron so decided to give it a go. Very glad we did, easily the best Indian food we've ever had. Although we got it take away, the restaurant itself looked very clean.

Saffron has to be the best Indian restaurant in the Darwin area. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious which allows you to try something different every time. It can seem a little costly at times, but for such a selection of food, and given that we have come away satisfied every time, it is well worth it. We have dined in on a few occasions and have found the wait staff to be very hospitable. The restaurant in nicely furnished though small and quickly at capacity on peak nights, so booking ahead is essential. Takeaway is just as easy with online ordering. Overall, a very high recommendation.

Very busy! That certainly must indicate it's popularity. The food was nice. My first option on the menu was unavailable, and due to a 'lost voice' all I can really do is point at the menu without many questions. I opted for something I've never tried in an Indian restaurant, the vegetarian cottage cheese and peas. The sauce was tasty, and they had a great vegetarian menu and it was hard to make a decision! My partner ordered his usual, Lamb Rogan Josh and enjoyed it. The naan bread was delicious but we asked for two servings and were obviously charged for it, though it seemed small. Worth a try if you're after nice Indian!

Just a fancy Indian restaurant. If I didn't know that my friend was taking me to Indian restaurant, I wouldn't guess. They do not have classic Indian restaurant decoration and smell. The decoration was classy, the waitress was friendly, later I learnt that she was the owner🙃 andddd food was delicious. Crystal glasses and porselen plates. Such a luxury for an Indian restaurant. You should definitely try baramundi mooli and eggplant which was a bit spicy for me and of course garlic naan. Such a beautiful restaurant in Darwin😍

A great assortment of spicy North Indian dishes served in decent portions. Recyclable plates and serving dishes are a bit gimmicky but the food here is excellent.
