This place is a hidden gem! Great outdoor vibes, delicious authentic food and friendly owner. The chargrilled pork noodle salad and iced coffee was amazing.

We lived in Vietnam for a year and this is the most authentic Vietnamese food and coffee we have found in Australia. The coffee is made with Vietnamese beans and the drip filter, and the char grilled pork Bahn mi tastes exactly like they make it in Vietnam. We were so excited to find this place! You MUST try the Vietnamese iced coffee. The lady who served us was absolutely lovely.

This is the first time I’ve tried street food in Hobart. It is common in Asia but isn’t here. It brings back memories from 10 years ago when I often catches up with friends after class. The “banh my” signature is fantastic with authentic homemade drinks. There are numerous spaces in the front of the shop so it’s a good idea to catch up with a big group of folks ;)

Best Vietnamese street food restaurant in Hobart! A hidden gem behind Collins Street serving real chargrilled skewers with Banh Mi which I’ve never seen before in Tasmania. The taste is exactly how I used to have it in Vietnam - truly authentic. I tried out their new chargrilled skewers with rice vermicelli the other day and it was amazing. Packed with flavours, heaps of veggies and the sauce was so on point! Credit for them for using environmental friendly packaging and surprisingly to have vegan and vegetarian options on their menu. Can’t recommend this place enough ♥️

The best pork roll i’ve had in Hobart!! This hidden gem in the CBD had brightened up my day with the crunchy rolls and mouth-watering BBQ pork. This cutie little take-away shop also offers different iconic Vietnamese street food including Rice vermicelli salad, charcoal meat skewers,... I just came by for a quick lunch the other day and it absolutely blew my mind how they can create such amazing taste in the sandwich. I came back after work to try other items in the menu and they were absolutely sensational, the Banh Mi and the skewers, the soymilk are all worth to try and try again. Charcoal Grill does make huge difference. To be honest, I did not expect anything from the shop based on its humble appearance at first and I was wrong - my apology to them. Keep up the good work guys! Definitely my go-to lunch in Hobart CBD. Best Banh Mi in Hobart, just my two cents.

I've eaten here a few times and have to say it is the closest to actual Vietnamese Banh Mi we have found in Australia. We lived in Vietnam for 12 months eating Banh Mi almost daily while we were there and have been looking for the real thing since we came home. This is the only authentic Banh Mi in Hobart. Also their Vietnamese coffee! DELICIOUS and absolutely spot on to authentic Vietnamese coffee.. that rich, almost chocolate flavour with the thickness and sweetness of the milk... Yum! Will be back again and again.

Such an amazing lunch on the go. I am so glad that I found this place while visiting Tasmania. Chargrilled pork roll is a common item in Vietnam but rarely found anywhere in Australia. We are only in Hobart for one week as the restrictions in Victoria have eased. Ive eaten from here 3 times already, the Banh Mi is delicious - food cooked to order and very fresh. Not a long waiting time, so we are able to take it on the go. You must try the BBQ Pork, though the pulled brisket is something special too.

Okay, hands down the best banh mi in Hobart!!! 🙌🙌🙌 As a Vietnamese, the perfect banh mi to me must be crispy on the outside and super moist and flavorful on the inside. Every bite is a heavenly combination of the Vietnamese baguette, pate, fresh herbs, Vietnamese mayo and meat. 😋 It has taken to my surprise that Banh Mi N' Grill NAILED every single component in their banh mi right in my first try!!! They bake their baguette daily, which I LOVE!!! Oh and they grill their skewers/fillings directly on charcoal, creating a signature smoky flavor, exactly similar to which I used to have from banh mi vendors in Vietnam. The flavor truly reminds me of home! 😭 My personal favorite banh mi is the BBQ pork but the Vietnamese pork sausage truly arouses my taste buds! The menu is quite diverse and there are also vegetarian options available. Don't forget to add a signature Vietnamese Iced Coffee or a Pandan Soy Milk to your order. No need to travel, I guarantee you will have a memorable experience of authentic Vietnamese banh mi combo right here in Hobart! 💯💯💯

Had high expectations due to the raving reviews but left a tad disappointed. Got the bbq pork Bahn mi. The roll was really good and was the highlight. Nice flavour of the pork but was very charcoal focused (too much perhaps). Wasn’t spicy enough and barely any pickled vegetables/coriander/filling etc. Struggling to find a Bahn Mi in the area that lives up to the hype and cost of T&L Bakery in Melbourne.

One of the best banh mi in town, small menu might have limited choices but it helps to keep the consistency in the food quality. The banh mi was sublime, the kebab was beautiful, it has so many flavours, and cooked to perfection. and the Vietnamese iced coffee was unbelievable. And the service is the best aswell.
