Hot freshly cooked. Everything I wanted. Burger looked amazing. My partner said it was excellent. My fish and chips were hot, perfectly cooked. Thank you

We stopped here on a drive through to Smithton. The staff were friendly and cooked us a fantastic burger with the lot. It was an authentic Aussie roadside burger with the lot - that included bacon and egg and plenty of lettuce to fall out the back of your burger. A nice thick hot meat patty. All for a very reasonable $8 too. My companions had the chips, and the serving size was generous to overflowing. Highly recommended - I would stop here if I was coming past again .

Hidden gem spotted in the local newspaper. One of the best battered fish in Tasmania for sure. Fresh and very reasonable price. Cheeseburger was tasty as well.

Just the best takeaway around. If you like fish and chips then you'll love the big pieces of fish and generous portion of chips and both the fish and chips are excellent. I drive off the adjacent highway just for their takeaways or plan my travels around stopping just for their takeaway.

Lots of variety of takeaway, mostly fried food. Bought 2 ice-cream cones, they cost me $14. I wouldn't have minded if they were decent size, but they were very small. Want be doing that again

Friendly service and the best chips around! No other shop could supply chips that stayed as crisp on a 15k drive home. I'd love to give 5 starts but svery few orders we end up with chicken salt or heavily saled chips when the stsndard order for us is 'only a little salt'.

Great takeaway, you can even call ahead and have it cooked by the time you get there. They have a few grocery items too.

Chips are pretty good but I wish they added your name on the order bag.

Fish is so divine and the staff are so friendly and the chips are yum to. Not oily or over done with salt . If you want fresh they dont give attitude about doing some. Will be back for sure 😊

Great road side stop which does well also as a general store. Yummy fried food in the Bain Marie, and great take away food (steak sandwich++). And Ben & Jerry's ice cream!!

Great. I only go there on a Wednesday after gardening in my daughters cut flower garden in Ridgley on my way back home to Ulverstone. It has become a habit not sure if that is a good thing BUT the staff are friendly and so welcoming. I get the Advocate .... Well that is if there is 1 left, my standard cold milk drink and something to eat. They are always SO busy with lots of working people lined up some times. It has a magic view of the ocean. Place to sit, even have a stroll. It is great .... go try for your self.

Plenty of high quality deep fried goodness in the bain-marie here, especially the fish, - they know what they're doing. Great thickshakes and milkshakes too, and a good range of essentials and convenience items, magazines. A local staple.
