2nd visit: 23 April 2022, 7:15pm As per the suggestion of the owner in response to my first review (below), I tried the Yankee Burger and decide to put it in an upsized meal. The burger was excellent - crispy crumbed chicken breast and an easy salad, in a wonderfully soft bun. The dressing for the salad plus chicken was delicious. The upsized chips/fries were classed as "medium" but, anywhere else, they would be a large serving. The medium serving of chips is big at a very decent price. The chips were cooked fresh and seasoned well and tasted great. I'm very happy with the return visit and the owner's food recommendation. Thank you! 1st visit Date/time of visit: 5 April 2022, 7:20pm Excellent, professional, friendly and patient staff. They were happy to explain and show food elements and sizes to help us make our decisions. The quality of the food was good and we felt the price point was good. The photo of the chicken shcnitzel with gravy and veggies may not look the best but the person eating it really enjoyed the meal. I don't recall the name of the burger - it contained pineapple, bacon (or ham) and what looked shredded chicken. Everything was good (I personally don't like any form of shredded/pulled meat and would've preffered a crumbed chicken breast). I thought the bun was a little crusty on the base (but I'm also very fussy with burger buns). Overall a good meal and I will return to try a different burger style suiting my tastes (when I'm back on Hobart). Happy with everything.

Friendly staff, had an fresh and tasty burger, husband has fish which he also found tasty. Freshly cooked chips were the best. Adhering to covid requirements with notices ect.

Chips and always done well. Loaded fries are amazing. Other stores should do them!

Great value 1/4 chicken and chips special every day around lunchtime. Good service. They also sell potato cakes, slices etc. unlike most other LnB's

Really good flathead in a tempura batter, plus excellent service. Just the thing for a Good Friday dinner. And the chips are always great. :)

Great store definitely recommend but it’s a shame with the bumped upped prices you couldn’t get everything on the menu as is the store itself eg:potatoe bake
