The inviting historic building has street appeal and you are instantly curious. As you would expect from a popular tourist destination, we were greeted with friendly & polite service. The coffee certainly hit the spot, which required us to sample an additional serving which verified a good drop. Obviously an ‘apple & custard muffin delight should be sampled at such times and provides the reassurance we will come back again. The venue also offers a selection of local and alternative products as well as numerous artworks on display & for sale. The venue was quiet whilst we were here but constant with walk ins. But something for staff to remember is that their conversations behind the counter can be overpowering which takes away from the ambience. A common theme here in Sheffield is to order at the counter as the staff do not take orders at the tables, so remember to do that here so you don’t feel forgotten. 3.5 to 4 Stars here, 1 for the friendly service, 2 for good coffee (& muffin) and a little extra for a relaxing seat at the window watching the rest of the world pass us by…..

I've visited here twice - once after a bushwalk for a snack and once for brunch. The post-walk snack was just what the dr ordered. It was very pleasant to site in the window by the chess board and watch Sheffield in action with a muffin and smoothie. The staff were friendly, but don't forget to order at the counter. Ten of us went for brunch a month later and we all had a good time. I ordered the Mumma breakfast and was well satisfied. The coffee was nice and the decor was inviting and remarked upon by others in my group.

My sister and I called in here by chance, on our way to Moina & Cradle mountain. So glad we did! Service was special- friendly and attentive. Our food was excellent- Thai- style pumpkin soup and the cheese board is a MUST have- delicious! Including aged cheddar, Camembert, a walnut and a cashew cheese, another one that I cant remember and a choice of either duck or salmon pate. We chose salmon and it was good. So glad we called in.

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this little retro cafe. Our pizza and salad were such good value. Also had a couple of drinks each and they were so reasonably priced. Lovely staff, friendly, smiling and warm. Definitely recommend if your travelling through or overnighting it in Sheffield.

Friendly people and nice vibe. Clean and comfortable. We stopped for snacks. Double shot flat white - well made smooth coffee. Def worth choosing. Dirty chai - very good. Almond chai latte - very good. Cacao and herb hot choc - I know? Apparently pretty good. Pick of cafes for drinks In Sheffield and best coffee we’ve had on our little road trip.

We ordered coffee here last week and waited nearly 1/2 an hour for it to be served. We were sitting chatting but that was not really the point. The waitress was pleasant enough but there was no apology when we queried the prolonged wait.

Definitely not the best pizza I have had, they were able to burn the edge of the base at the same time as undercook the rest of the base. Toppings were fresh and tasty, but like a house, if the foundation isn't sound the rest of the house will crumble.

Really really beautiful cafe with very good people running it. We were a group of 9 people with different requirements like no garlic, vegan, vegetarian and no carrots. The chef was extremely happy to cater to all types! Totally recommend this place!

Such a delight to have stopped by here. They were really accommodating and cooked up a very delicious vegan meal for some of us. The vegetarian food in the menu which we ordered was also really tasty. Very quick and polite service. Highly recommend the place!

Popped in this morning and grabbed a takeaway coffee and cookie. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside. Its quite roomy, got great atmosphere, awesome photography and interesting bits and pieces on the walls. Plenty of comfortable seating, and fun colours, not a drab cafe. The girls behind the counter were friendly and helpful. The coffee and granola cookie hit the spot perfectly, so on my way back through that afternoon i stopped in for a takeaway chai, it was also fantastic. I will be back for a sit down experience next time. Thankyou.

We popped in about 1:15 on a wet Wednesday. Several people in the cafe but not overly busy. By the time we ordered those present had been served. Coffees came promptly and were properly prepared and nice to taste - double shot 3/4 lattes. Food took ages to be presented and finally arrived just prior to 2pm. When my other half mentioned the delay the response was ‘we were busy’ but this did not seem to be the case particularly as 20 minutes before we were served the barista advised our meals were just being plated. Having vented about the delay we both agreed that our food was nicely prepared and delicious. My chicken burger was excellent while my partners salmon patties salad was also delicious. So nice place, good coffee and great food but they need to work on their timing of food delivery.

Soft and gentle country song as ambient music. Excellent pizza. We tried the BEEF & REEF. Love it! Well blend of beef and seafood with the magical touch of the sauce. I might be exaggerating in the expression. Because I love it too much.

I went with a friend for first time yesterday for lunch. I found delightful, unique ,boho chic, eating areas with lounges, tables and chairs and plenty of collections of photos and knick knacks. My favourite item was wall of doggies ,whom I think were regulars. For lunch we had the lamb cutlets ,served with peas, chips onion rings ,and relish- all of which was fresh, well cooked tasty and satisfying. My only criticism was pricing, which the meal was $33 which I feel was quite expensive for what it was.

Always enjoy the relaxing experience in this cafe. Only comment would be the $4 for a tea bag cuppa when you get an excellent coffee for not much more. Plenty of good tea leaves on the market. Please, it would be appreciated.

Moderate fair breakfast location. Avocado spread and French toast are good. Tomato soup is fair at best. Coffee tastes diluted and lacks aroma. Wait time of 20 minutes during off peak hours. Rather disappointing given the prior rave reviews. Toilets are extremely clean.
