Very good modern Japanese food served here. Friendly quick service. We had the larger of the two banquets which was good value for the amount of dishes served. Very clean toilets here. Great place for casual dining or large groups. Would go back again.

Warm hospitality with great food. Definitely the number one Japanese food in Tassie. We ordered some cocktails from a large range of options, the watermelon flavour is my favourite. Scallops are well seasoned. Will be back for sure!

Came on a busy night with a reservation, but the restaurant was understaffed - which was understandable, because of Covid. What earned this 3 star rating though, was the tuna sashimi. It was bright red and had a mushy texture like over cooked noodles. After speaking with the server, he said that it may be due to the way it was defrosted… Really disappointing

The take away "Family platter" is definitely a good option for a home gathering. Generous portions included Edamame, dumpling, karage, sushi roll and more that's enough to feed at least 2-3 person.

Gorgeous decor, feels like i am in Ginza in Tokyo. Seats are comfortable and tables are well spaced out. Sake and drinks selection is extensive. Service is excellent and just the right amount of attentiveness without being overly interrupting. We loved the salmon don, kingfish cappriccio, Beef tataki, chicken karage and sashimi. The rice for the sushi rolls is a little hard, so we did not enjoy that one as much. Really special place.

Not a bad place for dinner by any means, but definitely has room for improvement. The food was a little salty and the sashimi platter tuna had a stranger texture which we had to bring up with staff. Probably wouldn’t come back.

Authentic Japanese cuisine with great service from friendly and professional staff. Had a booking few days before to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, everything was organised ready for us group of 8 people once we arrived. Food was great and generous portions. Have extensive lists of drinks. Great recommendations on sake for us to compliment with our meals. Would definitely go back again!

We’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints - authentic Japanese food done well. Beautiful decor, attentive staff and fantastic food. The takeaway Sushi & Sashimi was disappointing. The sashimi was meager and only salmon. The sushi was just a roll with poor cuts of salmon (again...) and well padded with vegetables. Would not go back based on that experience.

My partner and I had an amazing meal here last week. The food was exceptional (we had the banquet), the staff were very attentive, the decor is beautiful and even the crockery is fancy. We were very well looked after, especially as it was my partner's birthday and the staff very kindly shouted us a sake flight. It was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish and would love to visit again next time we are visiting Hobart.

I have high expectations before I went to the restaurant due to all the good comments. But I am a little disappointed as the price was a bit overpriced, the portions of each dishes was too small. We ended up have another small dinner in another shop. Half of the dishes wasn’t as good as it should be. The miso soup was too salty, edamame was overcooked, salmon have a small fishbone, and the dessert was so disappointing that it wasn’t sweet at all. I wondered if the sugar was forgotten. Other than these, the tastes are good. But it takes too long. Spent almost 2 hours for a meal.

One of the best places for Japanese in Hobart, well worth the trip. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and well presented food. Price is not he higher side but you get what you pay for and this is definitely fine Japanese Dinning rather than a sushi bar. We went with a group of 6 and were all very happy.

We had dinner very early due to bookings, it was our first dinner visit, our starters of sushi were extremely nice, well presented and arrived timely. We ordered three main courses, chicken, seafood and pork, these all arrived with knife and fork as if to be eaten by non chop stick users....ummmm. The main courses were very disappointing, in both taste and presentation, very expensive considering. Finally, the noise levels were way over the top, staff clearing a large table dragged chairs across the floor as they worked. All in all not the best dining experience ever.

The yakitori is authentic, produce is very fresh and they have real green tea, not the ones in tea bags. The service is impeccable. Child friendly too. Had a lovely experience there, will be back again.

The salmon sashimi is delicious, the iron plate is very good, but it is a bit salty. Add a beer, a total of 85, a little expensive (Original) 吃了寿喜锅，三文鱼刺身和铁板海鲜。寿喜锅里面的是火锅牛肉卷，不是和牛。三文鱼刺身很好吃，铁板海鲜料很足，但是有点咸。加一杯啤酒，一共85，有点小贵
