A. W.Best place to eat in Metung. Great food and service We had several meals and our morning coffees here and enjoyed it all. A great menu with lots of options. We particularly enjoyed the pasta and big breakfast, and as a vegetarian the chef came to chat to me an was happy to cook me lovely veggie versions. Thanks to the whole team at Chez Joe.
R. H.Just had dinner hear tonight and had a great experience. We really enjoyed our table outside with a view towards the village green with the marina beyond. Had the beef rendang and it was delicious, very tender beef and rich flavourful gravy and super fluffy jasmine rice. Yum! Service was also good.
C. G.This beautiful fusion cafe is run by some very kind and bubbly staff. I felt comfortable as soon as I entered, having never been to Metung before I can say that if you're travelling and want to know where you should eat here, this is the place to go! I highly recommend!
A. K.Lovely little place with a delightful fusion menu.. Indonesian and Egyptian cuisines, what more can you ask for! The owner is a gem of a person, warm & welcoming, he came up to us for a small chat telling us about his Egyptian roots and that his partner is Sumatran, hence influencing the items on their menu. Food was sumptuous and tasty, we had the Mee Goreng with chicken and Mediterranean platter. The spicy chutney that came with the Mee Goreng deserves special mention! We were served a dessert complimentary by the owner, since i guess we were one of his first Melbournian patrons after the lockdown.. We will surely visit again :)

L. D. P.Fantastic variety of food from across the world. A great taste of different in the community of Metung. We travel from Melbourne annually and it is great to have a selection of different flavors besides the traditional Pub grub. The staff also made it feel very welcoming.
L. C.Love this cafe/restaurant. It has a lovely ambiance and fantastic food. We ended up dining here 2 nights as we just loved the food. There are several cuisines to choose from and a specials board. We couldn't pass up the Asian selections as they were delicious. We had Beef Rendang and Red curry. Kay makes her own chilli sambal (mild) which comes separately. You can choose to add this to your dish or not. We also had the home made pumpkin soup with Zaatar bread. So tasty! All the staff are so lovely and friendly. We'll be back in a heart beat. Thank you Kay and co.
M. C.First visit to Meting and what a delight to experience this wonderful fusion cuisine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Minestrone soup was amazing and Nasi Campur was delicious. Definitely be back.
G. A.Delicious food, friendly staff. We went for some of the Indonesian options, seafood mi goreng and beef rendang curry and weren't disappointed. The sambal is unreal if you can handle your spice.

O.Yes, the first review is correct .... it IS early days ~ this business has been going for just under 1 month, and as anyone would know trying to keep even an established food business going during the challenges of COVID is difficult enough much less one just starting out. The Veg Mousaka was delicious, and I have confidence things will come together.
