Nice place, reasonable food but it's nothing special. We were seated next to the the children's playground which was annoying at times because the doors were constantly being slammed shut.

Friendly staff, Ryan was our waiter and he was spectacular. Only suggestion would be the kids playground door staying shut and at least one adult having to supervise to reduce kids' potential injuries and keep them a little more under control.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of baked polenta and a chai latte which was just right. They did there best to understand that I was on a diet and made sure that they put skim milk in it for me. The drinks took a while but got to us and the atmosphere is nice. Playground for kids and sports lounge and pokies for the adults.

Meals were a good size. It was clean. Would have been nice to have a bit longer to read the menu. Waitress was a bit pushy. The club definitely needs more external blinds near the window seats. We got blinded one way by the sun reflecting back into our eyes and the other way it came directly into our eyes as it went down. Better signage for the entrance would help if you have never been there before. Would go again.

Good setting and variety of mains dishes. Happy with most aspects of this venue and have been many times. Kids playground is ok but has large western facing windows which receives the full afternoon sun, heating up the plastic play equipment and making the playroom unbearably hot with no air conditioning available. Most recent visit (12th Jan 2021) was quite disappointing. So called 2 for 1 offer on mains was not honoured initially for every person in our group, only after complaining about it. Staff were not receptive to concerns about spurious charges on receipt. Charged $4 for tomato sauce, $6 for a glass of post-mix soft drink! Porterhouse steak was stone cold. Staff again we're not receptive to our complaints; no apology or refund offered. Table service staff clearly didn't know what the meals were when serving and would change the meal name upon questions being asked; e.g. steak with gravy well done, to steak with mushroom medium rare, didn't even know what the sauces were. Based on our most recent experience, I would be hesitant to go back anytime soon which is quite disappointing as we have only had good experiences previously.

Beautiful food, have been here a few times. Always a beautiful meal, very large portions and a great range of meals. Staff are always helpful. Tables are big and comfortable, beautiful interior. Haven’t tried the gaming room yet so just but looks clean.

The staff were amazing! As busy as they were they still were on the ball with enthusiasm and manners. The food was awesome, I had the outback parma. Massive, delicious and the chips were great too. The veggies were watery and bland though. The wife had Mediterranean pasta oil based, "Really good, it was delicious. Definitely a food I am going to crave soon!". Margarita cocktail was far too salty even for a Margarita. Overall genuine good establishment- Great feel to it, wicked lake view, good spacious set up, perfect staff. Pokies didnt put out though...

I was a little disappointed by the Nai-Goreng I had ordered, others enjoyed their selections, but otherwise meals were generous and the place had a good atmosphere. You can even go for a pleasant walk along the board-walk after dinner. Will be happy to go here again i the future.

A delightful dining experience. The roast lamb and vegetables (with mint jelly) was beautiful, followed by the best fruit salad with ice-cream. Those dining with me enjoyed their meals also and my son was astonished by the size of the mixed grill (which even he couldn't get through!) The service and attention from the staff were excellent. While at least five staff attended to us throughout the evening, I must single out Colleen for making we newcomers feel welcome and informed and Ashlee for the cheerful and efficient way she attended to our needs. An excellent meal was had by all!

I had the Fisherman's Net and my husband had the Mixed Grill. We both really enjoyed the food. The meat and seafood were cooked well and the serves were a very generous size. We also ordered coffees after lunch and unfortunately these were not good. My latte was so weak that I couldn't even smell coffee in it. Upon mentioning this to the staff they were very accommodating and provided a replacement, which was better but still quite weak. I'd recommend this place for the food and the service, but if you want coffee afterwards you'd be better off heading somewhere else for that.

We love coming to Club Officer for a meal....breakfast, lunch or dinner it's all yummy! The staff are always friendly. They have a nice little play area for kids. IF you don't have kids just ask not to be seated near the play area as it can get a little noisy.

Table service which was quite good. The food was OK but I thought it tasted a little bit on the manufactured side. Like it came out of a packet, and for what it was the food is pricey. You can split the bill when paying which is good. Probably more suited to larger groups ie. Birthdays than to go out for tea as a couple. Oh! And unless you are a member you can't go through the front door! But being a first timer you don't know that till you get there. Then you have to run around the back in the rain. Super! Now you are all wet. Not happy Jan!! Personally I will not be in a great hurry to go back.

If you are lucky to be seated away from the playground, you will have a stunning view of the lake. Which comes with a great sunset view to accompany your dinner. With regards to the food, it is above average for a pub style (including full table service). My stomach did disagree with the beef burger, but the roast of the day has always served me well.

Daniel was our waiter. He was very attentive, polite and pleasant. Lovely service and delicious meals. Unfortunately the service we received on Sunday 18/3/18,night was completely in contrast from our previous experience. Waitress was brusque, did not approach us to check on our meal, drinks.. It took 20 mins for our childrens desserts to come out (after I asked for them to come out). The other waitress who also tended to us was more interested in wiping down tables and pulling the blinds down even though she could see our mains had been cleared and dessert could be brought out. But no, she kept on cleaning. We had not been asked if we would like coffee or dessert even when the kids desserts were finally brought out. By this time we were over it, we just wanted to leave. The food is lovely, the service is hit and miss.

Officer club is a great place for seniors. They have a very good seniors meal deal that is really good value. The meals are very generous and for two courses plus a drink the average is 14.90. There's a good selection and sure to have something to please the fussiest of dinners.

Looks like a new chef with the new menu! Grandson ordered macaroni cheese and got pasta with grated cheese in top! My friends ordered the pork which they couldn't cut yet alone eat so their meals were replaced with steak one of which was raw in the middle. came here last night ( 29/05/2019 ) with a few friends for dinner, the waiter was lovely! didn't quite catch his name! very accommodating and polite ! my friend asked to move tables because it was a little cold near the window and he was happy to do so! i work in customer service, so that's one thing i look for! the food... i'm unfortunately lactose intolerant so i was a little nervous to ask for a veg pizza with no cheese but it was amazing!! soo kudos to the chef also!

The venue is very modern and nice. Food is about standard for pub style meals, maybe slightly more than average. Food is nice and looks good, but its nothing to get too.excited about. Beer on tap is all Lion Nathan brands but there is also carlton draught available, just not labelled. Whilst the venue feels like the kind of place that you order at tbe counter and the meal is brought out to you, they actually come to the table to take your order. I say this feels odd as it is a restaurant that caters heavily for families with kids so the table service just seems.out of place. Overall, quite nice, nothing amazing, but nothing bad to say about the place either.

Drinks and meal prices expensive compared to similar venues. Gaming staff are 50/50. Some are very friendly, some are very rude. I was disgusted to see one punter allowed to play three machines at once. This went on for at least three hours. Obviously its different rules for friends.

Ordered food & drinks. 15 minutes later, first dish came out & that was fine. But the second meal came out and it was wrong. Told the waiter that we didnt order it & she was sure that we had. Both the Club Officer and sister Club Pakenham have been reconfigured to cater for the horse racing. I used to frequent the Paky one regularly to watch the AFL games. Not now. Not comfortable for viewing anymore. Club Officer is not much better with few seats and tables available near the big screen. The smaller viewing areas, if the game is on, you just can't hear the game. I'd better start looking elsewhere

It's a very nice venue but i hate having to show my drivers license every time I go there. Also there's an abandoned silver fiat that's been in the car park for at least 6 months that's still there.
