Amazing would be really less for the experience we had. I really loved the mushroom burger and onion rings. My friends also really liked the hot chik burger and cheesy garlic bread . Will definitely be back.

I've been back several times for my burger fix as the burgers here are excellent and I always leave satisfied. The portions are generous and the combinations of flavours are great. The patties are really juicy and good quality ingredients are used in the dishes. Friendly staff too.

A very nice burger joint in springvale. The burgers were delicious and they also catered to vegetarians which was very nice. I had a vegetarian burger and it was very nice. The patty wasn't dry and overall it was very flavorful and I really enjoyed it. The waiters were also very nice and the burgers were served quite fast. Best burgers in town. Juicy patty, fresh veggies and amazing sauce. The best of all, you don’t have to use fork and knife. That means those are real burgers. Not like those obnoxiously big ‘burgers’ with lazy craftsmanship trying to get away without actually combining great flavours to delicately create something amazing.

Ordered the chicken burger and the half rack of beef short ribs. Absolutely loved the burger! Was amazing chicken is so crispy and has great flavour can't recommend it enough. Ordered a beef burger also that was amazing they do a sick job with the burgers! The beef short ribs on the other hand I felt where abit of a let down. It was very thick and abit chewy. I found once the outside sauce disappeared all I was eating was a hunk of un flavoured cooked meat. In saying that it could of been just the serve I had like this. Value for money I probably wouldn't get it again incase I got the same serve. Still highly recommend this place. Hidden gem!

This place has a nice interior and decoration. Parking space was reasonably easy to spot at the back and side street. Burgers were super delicious. We had the vegetarian one and soft shell crab. Nutella waffle was ok, ordinary. Will revisit this place for sure.

Jam 2019 It’s been 3 yrs since last ventured here.. am here again with my nephew and niece (from Sydney). They loved it first time round and had very fond memories of our time here... however this time around... they were not as impressed. ordered the brisket burger.. other items included buffalo wings, the OG, the pulled pork and the kids cheese burger. Base is huge! Could not eat it. My brisket was dry and tough!!! Niece says her OG was good but it was missing something which she just put down to “pfffft” in her words. The pulled pork was ok but the jalapeño could’ve done without. Cheeseburger.. just ate the patty cheese and part of the top. Overall our experience was lack lustre... WIR? Nah better burgers elsewhere!!!

Also they do a student deal! $15 for burger fries and soft drink which is awesome because a burger IS $15. Not much of a vibe but we were in on a Thursday lunch time and booths need some love. Cool burger joint.. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.. I didn't get to try any of their burgers but I tried their low and slow smoked meats.. Pulled pork.. nice and juicy and good flavour, bit heavy on the mustard flavour for my taste but topped off nicely with some pork crackling. Beef brisket.. came out a bit cold so it lacked flavour.. nothing more to say about that Cheesy garlic bread.. good lovely pillowy goodness of garlic and cheese on warm bread.. this was the highlight of the meal Onion rings.. good taste but too much batter.. Sriracha mayo was a nice hit.. Overall great place will come back and try the burgers..

If you want something apart from Asian in Springvale, this is the place to get it! Service here is great and there is lots of seating. There are lots of burgers to choose from in the menu, and food here is quite good! I loved the burger patty but personally found that my meat patty was slightly overcooked. Will definitely be back next time!

Oooooommmmmgggg. I have no idea why I had never come here before! I knew of it, just.. hadn't visited? Was craving some smoked meat for a couple of months and saw they had a special brisket. Helloooo! Delicious. Melt in your mouth, and creatively served. Beautiful meat. Not as smoky as I wanted but 100% as tender delicious and beefy. The sauce it was served with, the pickled vegetables things.. nnnnff. Shake? Huge letdown. When you offer a salted caramel shake it has to be salted caramel, not caramel with a couple pretzels.. only disappointment though!

Burgers aren't normally the first things that come to my mind when it comes to the culinary wonders of Springvale. The dinner that I picked up today, though, was simply amazing. I've been craving for a good old Aussie-style beef burger with beetroot and got exactly that, with the onions and beef having just that right amount of slightly burnt flavour. My missus' crispy chicken burger turned out very well too and so were our sides (kimchi mac & cheese and aioli chips). The chips are worth a mention for being exactly what all good chips should be, chunky and crispy.

Burgers here are top-notch. Many, many varieties of tasty burgers on offer. Buns are always fresh. The American style burgers with pickles are always a delight. Hot chips are yummy. They serve other dishes as well which are consistently good. Dinner times can get very busy so I’ll come in early. Desert are always very generous servings.

Great tasty food and the staff are very accommodating. The only thing I would say that it falls a little short on is the ambience. It"s a bit 'kitcheny' and could do with more soul....including cool/cruisy music and perhaps even some upbeat female serving staff. We do really like coming here though.

A very unique burger joint to compete with the other burger joints of melbourne. Oreo shakes are awesome but will bite u later if you are peckish. My favorite was not the Burger but the house special which was the Loaded Buffalo Chicken Fries. I loved the sauce so much that i kept dipping the burger itself into a unique blended sauce. A must try for a limited time according to staff so hopefully it will stay permanently on the menu.

This is a very cool burger place located in the hustle and bustle of Springvale. The burgers and sides are well priced and quality is high. Most burger shops tend to forget the key to a good burger starts with the quality and seasoning of the patty. At Cultural Commons they have hit the spot with their seasoning and quality of their patty. The menu is also quite extensive providing you with a wide array of choices. Highly recommended for both locals and the travelling foodie!

I dont think I've eaten a burger that fast in my life!! Positives were: - Delicious food. The burger was tender, juicy and just packed full of flavour. The chips were ALL crunchy and perfectly seasoned. The chef really knows what they are doing. - Nice fun fresh vibes, from the decor to music played it was just really well presented. - Friendly, attentive, knowledgable staff. Who knew their menu!!! - Easy parking. - Large menu with things to suit everyone. - Have I mentioned the burgers!! They really were that good! - Speedy service. But didn't feel rushed. - Looked to be pet friendly as there was a dog water bowl near the door but was a cold night so no one was outside. Things I didn't like: (Really had to be nitpicky here) - Plastic straws!! For such a modern setting would really have loved no straws or paper recyclable straws. - Blown light gloves. Yes I know this seems silly but when every booth is personally lit it's very noticeable. As I also said nitpicking. I will definitely be back here. With such a large menu there is definitely more I'd love to try! Highly recommend to 'Burger Lovers'.

Talk about a food coma! So so worth it. Honestly one of the better burger joints I’ve been to, and certainly beats some of the places on offer around Melbourne. I highly recommend their poutine with beef brisket on top. The best part is that it’s a quick and easy drive (less than 20 minutes) to the drive ins in Dandenong, making it the perfect place to grab food before a movie.

Honestly this place is great I love the decor and the service is always so friendly but the food... I’ve been here a few times and every time before the most recent the burgers have been greasy and a little cold, on the 29/02/2020 my partner and I asked for our patties to be done just a little longer and when we received our food majority of it was burnt or just plain gross, I’m not going to take it out on the employees as I know better but I highly doubt I’ll be coming back just sucks that the food well in short terms.. sucks for such a nice place

Awesome selection of burgers and reasonably priced american bbq in springvale isn't something you'd think would work well, but this place is always packed and has become a favourite in our circle and rivals the more upmarket inner city joints. While sometimes I've found it to be a little inconsistent, the staff are very receptive to feedback and are actually interested in seeing how they can do better. It's great to come back in a few weeks or months later and see that not only has feedback been acted upon, but that they remembered my last experience better than I did and actually wanted to know if it was better. Keep it up guys, you're exactly what the Eastern suburbs needs!

I came here as I heard that the american nightmare was currently melbourne's best burger according to the "live ladder". The location is convenient (for me), and great setting. You wouldn't think that you were in Springvale... I would have to say that the american nightmare was "very good". However, I reckon the ziggy's recovery burger (currently 3rd on the "live ladder) is better. Both burgers have 2 beef patties, but the american nightmare doesn't have bacon, which is a very crucial element in today's burgers. Also, $23 is a bit steep compared to $16.90 at ziggy's. You do get delicious chips with aioli though. So overall, very good - but no ziggy's.

Springvale doesn't really strike you as a place where you can get American and modern cuisine, but Cultural commons breaks this. If you're sick of the cheaper Asian places, definetly check this out. Really good shakes, burgers and chips. If you wanna get fat check this out :)

While there were no chicken wings available (so can't rate them) they burgers were absolutely delish. Chips were got crunch and fluffy and they onion rings spot on. Tried the Lamb ribs - yeah nah bit chewy. Aside from that really enjoyed.
