This place was great, the service was very friendly, the food was brought out very quickly even though they were busy,. Not sure if it is always busy but I suggest making a booking. The food was well priced for the quality and portion sizes with reasonable drink prices. The Polenta fries serving was a little small and they did have a wine we were after, we'll be back for sure.

pizzeria close to chapel st. Food is nice. Cannoli and tiramisù were good. But there are many italian restaurants in the area and, honestly, i would choose somewhere else (price, quality, customer service wise)

Extremely fun and hospitable. Pizza is fantastic. Look out for the gorgonzola 4 Cheese Pizza, its delicious! Pasta was well received by my dining companions. The staff are patient and accomodating. A lovely local restaurant.

I went there with a groups of friends. Pizzas arrived all together, which is a good point! Pizza's dough was good and well cooked. Didn't like the sausage (salsiccia), but that's personal taste. The service was pleasant, kind and helpful. I would like to be back to try more things.

My partner and I dined here on Saturday night after wanting to try the place for a while. I love how they've put a lot of effort into the Italian themed decor! It's a great ambience to dine in. The team were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. However, the pizza was quite soggy and bland. There wasn't much meat on the pizza either. The arancini and croquettes were ok. Again they weren't very flavourful at all and were just too plain compared to at other restaurants in the area. I'm still giving 3 stars as although I probably wouldn't go back, the atmosphere was great and the staff very friendly which made up for the very average food. The food is good value in terms of portion size for the price and the service was very quick.

Came here with my boyfriend for our first date after being locked in here since COVID-19. Was a really lovely night and the food was absolutely amazing. Pizza was so well cooked and we managed to eat everything. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a great place to eat at on a night out!!

This Italian restaurant was a good discovery for me. Their food is very Italian but it is prepared in their own particular way. The service is quick and friendly. The restaurant has a nice ambience of its own. A little congested which gave me a warm feeling about the place. The view of the wood fired oven and the chefs at work adds to that charm.

I've been here a couple of times. Good menu, friendly service and usually good woodfired pizza. They definitely use good ingredients, the mozzarella on pizza is especially good. Unfortunately last time I've been here our pizzas were burnt, so consistency hasn't been great. I'll give it another chance though.

We were a bit surprised that the restaurant was so quiet on a Friday night, but as soon as we saw the pizzas come out from the wood fire oven we got excited ! Our table ordered two pizzas and two pastas and everyone had positive things to say. For me personally the flavours hit the spot on the pizza.. it was just a little soggy in the middle for my liking. The staff were fantastic at their jobs so cannot fault in anyway.

My favorite spot to have the best pizza in the world. I usually go there every week and I feel home every time. Pino is the best and there are all very friendly in there. Our go-to for pizza. I think they are a companion to La Svolta in Hampton (so the pizza base is the same with different toppings in the two places). The pizza is authentic neapolitan, so served with a very thin doughy base with a thick burnt crust. The special Tuesday deals are good value. Service is consistently excellent and very friendly.

Attend on a Sunday at 5.30 PM for dinner. The staff were lovely. The food, drink selection and coffee was all to my tables tastes. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We ordered a number of pasta dishes to share. The serving size was generous and enabled easy sharing. The store was able to cater for my sons allergies which as a parent, I'm thankful for. Credit to the Chefs. I understand that coffee really is a personal taste, but in this store, I will readily drink the espresso. Perfect. I originally gave a four star rather than five, as on the night I visited, I thought the music was loud and interfered with our ability to talk with ease. I struggled to hear those on the other side of the table. If the music was turned down and more subtle, I definitely give the restaurant a five star. I did not ask for the music to be turned down. The staff being so lovely, would probably have done so. For this reason, I give the five stars. On my next visit, I'll make sure I ask if the music is again loud. Highly recommended. Edit: I’ve since re attended and the music was suitable for conversation. Same great service and food. Will definitely be returning. Thanks.

Absolutely phenomenal food and fantastic service (pizzas came out in minutes despite being packed). Prices are typical gourmet-pizza a la Melbourne so expect 20-25$ for a large pizza and 10$ for a glass of wine but the pizzas were amazing. We even splurged and got the Nutella pizza for desert which was awesome though probably a bit much :). Totally recommended and some of the best pizza I’ve tried in Melbourne (and I’ve tried ever so many).

Are you looking for a great pizza place (and not only) in Melbourne? Our friend Pino owns the right place! It's not just the owner but also the pizza maker and his pizza is so far one of the best we have tried. A classic Neapolitan style pizza, quite big and not perfectly round. Our top pizzas are the vesuviana with sausages and friarielli and the calzone...but ask also for a special pizza with nduja, potatoes and gorgonzola! Divine! You should also try their special antipasti: bombette pugliesi, arrosticini, burrata and prosciutto. And of course dessert: from a classic tiramisu to a zuccotto. What's that? Try it! Great selection of Italian beer, wine and digestive. What else? Incredible customer service! You will fill like at home.
