The place is in good location with a queue outside kinda vibe. We waited for our table for almost half an hour; partly because it was a busy night and we’re rather a large group and seatings weren’t all available at the same time. Nevertheless, the staff tried their best to accommodate us all. The food were amazing and compliments each other. We ordered quite a few halal sets on the menu. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for a halal Korean food.

Stumbled across this place one night and decided to try it out. It was busy on a Friday night and there was a long wait since we didn’t make a booking. Nonetheless, it was definitely worth it! We got the Set B which was plenty of food for 2 people. It comes with your choice of 2 dishes - we got the seafood pancake and the kimchi soup, both of which were delicious. The set comes with 3 types of meat - bulgogi beef, pork, and chicken. All three were delicious, and the Bulgogi marinade was really good! Definitely recommend!

Conveniently located Korean BBQ with plenty of Halal options (listed against each menu item). Recommend getting a set menu to have some variety, otherwise ordering individually has much smaller servings. If booking a table, try to get a space upstairs for a nicer ambience. It can get very busy though!!

Had a dinner with friends here and it was a great experience. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered the Beef Bulgogi and it was really good. The beef was tender and juicy. The fact that they had Halal meat is a big bonus as not many Asian restaurants have Halal food. Will visit again for sure!

Fantastic dining experience. Probably best to go with a friend, as the Korean BBQ experience is a minimum 2 serve. Despite this, I had a great solo meal, of fried vegetable dumplings, beef bulgogi hot pot, and assorted sides as standard. The food was served with very little wait time, and tasted delicious (if a little on the salty side - be sure to order a few beers!) Left feeling totally stuffed and really satisfied - my best meal so far as a Melbourne tourist. Staff polite and attentive, and didn't pressure me to leave as soon as I'd finished, even though they were clearly a popular place. Also, bill was cheaper than I expected - excellent price considering the quality! Would definitely recommend ✌️

We ordered Rice, and 5 meat selections, then proceeded to cook-I like the fact you can do something while out for a meal-food was delicious. We looked over at another table, and realised we should have put the little foil tin with corn and cheese onto the bbg grill-we had no idea and ate it as it was 😂. Had a thoroughly good time, will definitely go back and would recommend a visit

My first Korean barbecue experience went really well at Hallah. It was better than expected in overall. Cozy atmosphere, chic design and warm service were the highlights of the night. And marinated, seasoned, sauced vegetables, haha there were a lot of vegetables that I loved. If I were to critique, I would say the wagyu beef was not much different than any good quality beef. Superb. The meat was an excellent grade, the preparation assistance by the staff was seamless between meats, I could go on and on. Average Korean bbq place. The service was lacking. Had to ask my self to be seated down, since the waiters were busy doing something else. Although it would be nice to be acknowledged. However, the waiters weren't rude or anything. Although the waiters kept forgetting things I has asked for. The food is very average, but are genuinely good for the price they are offered. Maybe my expectations were too high. Overall this is an ok place to have dinner/lunch. Nice atmosphere, kind staff, cheap food. Would recommend this restaurant as for a birthday or meeting or just for a simple meal.

Food was pretty good, but my girlfriend and myself didn't enjoy the experience because of the huge, extremely rowdy and drunk group next to us. We had rice thrown in our direction, they broke a glass next to our table and we had to deal with their screaming and swearing for a good 40 minutes. Nothing was done by the staff to control their rowdiness even though it destroyed the restaurants atmosphere and messed up their restaurant. Aside from that the food was good, but you can find better Korean food elsewhere. Also I was told that to continue getting kimchi you have to pay here, whereas you wouldn't at most genuine Korean restaurants in Melbourne.

One of our favourite korean bbq places in Melbourne. We find this place to be of great value with their set menu options catering 2,4 or 6 people altogether. The 6 people set menu is the best value with variety of dishes and a dessert dish. All the dishes were delicious!

Came by on a busy Friday night with no booking.. Luckily was accomodated and quickly sat in the middle. Not sure if they have seatings upstair, but they should to cater for more patrons. The food (korean BBQ and seafood pancake) was fairly good. You might find it a bit difficult when coming as a group as you tend to chat and not focused on the BBq'd food. Putting the cooked meat on a plate would have been better for us. Seafood pancake batter is fluffy but the crust is crispy. Very nice! The ban chan was topped up very regularly with no issue. We also did order 1 portion of koren fried chicken. They came towards the end of our meal, so we werent very pleased about that. Overall, very good service and food. Will return
