So yummy so good! Great food and environment for group catch up with friends. Big menu and fast services, it is definitely a hidden gem! Friendly waitstaff and extremely helpful. I'm allergic to coriander and she put that in the order paper, unfortunately the chef overlooked and I had to hand picked all of them out. Otherwise it is really a great place to enjoy your meal!

It has lovely indoor amd outdoor seatings. The staff are friendly. The menu covers a wide range of varieties. I ordered a medium rare 200 g eye fillet steak, which was cooked well (closer to medium, but acceptable). Pairing the steak with sweet potato fries was a nice twist, love this combination.

This tucked away restaurant is well worth a visit. It’s great for drinks after work, lunch during the week and brunch and lunch on the weekends. The menu has something for everyone; my last visit on the weekend I had a delicious burger and one of my friends who is a vegetarian had plenty of choices as well. I definitely recommend the sweet potato waffle which I had for brunch last time. Bloody Mary’s are also delicious. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Take a look, I’m sure you will be happy you did

So good! Visiting Melbourne for the day, and we decided that a late breakfast was in order. This place looked ok from the outside, so we ventured in. We were welcomed at the door, and it immediately became apparent that the place was popular with local business people. Lots of suits, laptops, and business meetings surrounded us. The whole feeling was very relaxed and comfortable, though. The menu offered a huge range to choose from, including alcoholic milkshakes (!!!!!) We opted for sourdough toast and banana bread, accompanied by hot chocolate and an iced latte. Oh My Goodness! Just amazing! So first of all, the serving sizes were generous. Two fat slices from a giant banana bread, surrounded by chantilly cream (more like a heavenly custard) and fresh berries. Two huge slices of sourdough accompanied by butter and jam. Doesn't look so big in my pic, but believe me, the plates are enormous. Every bite was heaven. There was no way we could finish it all, but we gave it our best effort.

This was my first visit to the venue, after looking for a breakfast location. I arrived without a booking, and was seated promptly. Very friendly service. Great coffee, fantastic breakfast. I had the eggs royale with beetroot cured salmon, spinach, poached eggs with hollandaise on ciabatta, and a side serving of the crunchy moreish hash browns. It was so good, I booked there for lunch that day! The waiter remembered me, and I had the squid ink linguine, very satisfying. Would love to return for dinner, or for their bottomless brunch in future.

We went there as a big group and we were not told about the fixed menu for big groups, nor were we told to pick items for the fixed menu, it was done for us. A friend and I booked dinner at Henry and the Fox before we went to see a show in town. The Fork had 50% off food, which is a fantastic deal. As soon as we walked in, I was already impressed - the atmosphere was beautiful and the place was full of suited corporate workers at the end of a busy Thursday. We got seated at our Reserved table straight away and shortly water and menus followed. Our waitress was fantastic. She asked us what the plan for the evening is and, when we told her we’re going to the theatre, she checked what time and where we had to be there and said she’ll ensure we get looked after as a priority, so we’re not late. This was entirely her own initiative, which was above and beyond our expectations. The menu looked very attractive and she was happy to offer some recommendations. As we arrived during Happy Hour, I wanted to try our the Espresso Martini. I asked her what it’s like and she advised that some people find it a bit sweet and, if I don’t like sweet, I may not be happy. Before I managed to say anything, she had already gone to the bar, poured be a sip to taste, and brought it back to me. Once again - above and beyond! I said, “What about some Gin & Tonic?” Minutes later, I had a massive glass of Strawberry Beefeater and Dry Tonic - it was delicious. My friend got a great Virgin Mojito. I was tempted by the Squid Ink Linguine, which is served with Pipis, Calamari, and Baby Octopus and has just the right amount of Chilli in it. My friend got a Minute Steak, cooked to perfection, and accompanied by Chips and a Salad. I wish we had more time, so we could’ve tasted some more of the food, but we’ll definitely be back. I’m a fan!!

Most of shops are close on weekend, especially Sunday but this café is open! Nice smashed avocado with toasts and you can choose whether you want to order eggs or hash potatos which are extra cost of course. I guess I paid something around $35 total with one glass of white wine which I feel it's a bit expensive. The food taste was great and there was no problem with service. The staff were very helpful.

I actually discovered this place my accident after my usual place of breakfast was closed even though though opening hours are from 7 am to 7 p.m., I arrived at 8:30 a.m. to which the cafe was still closed. Anyway, I decided to walk into this place to give their breakfast menu ago and boy let me tell you, the cosy feeling of This place is so comforting that you can almost call this home. In addition to this their breakfast is delicious. This morning I ordered the eggs benedict with fried halloumi which was cooked to perfection. All the flavours in portion and was just perfect. It wasnt oily like other places that serve eggs Benedict. I'll definitely be coming back to try every item on their breakfast menu.

Had the "Myura Station" - Wagyu rump steak with sweet potato fries and salad. Steak was cooked pretty well (medium - a bit of pink on inside), but mushroom sauce is not generous. Service is okay. Presentation could be better!

Right in the heart of the city is Henry and the Fox, an spaceful place perfect for big groups with a good setting in outdoor or indoor areas. The pizza is really good, the base is crunchy, most of the ingredients are fresh and the price is equivalent. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, well decorated with good food and a friendly and welcoming staff.

Food was amazingly tasting had the hash browns breakfast, eggs were slightly rubbery and one of the hash browns slightly burnt but overall good tasting and quality food. Service was very slow took 40mins for first meal to get here and an hour for the last so If your in a rush not worth it but if you have time to sit around the food was good.

Henry and the Fox provides a delectable menu, i think especially targetted to vegan or vegetarian customers. The salad portions from mains menu are huge. The burgers in vegan patty, beef patty and chicken patty are normal. I always end up having chicken burger due to the tasty patty.

Service is ok, food can take a while to come out especially if you're eating in a group and do not order in advance. Food prices are a little more than what I would expect to pay, however serving prices are decent.

The team were very efficient and organised with the adherence to the requirements for leaving details, spacing of seating for social distancing and clear signage to avoid confusion. The service was personable, friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, so tasty and beautifully presented. It came out quickly, so great for a quick lunch if you need, but you'd feel comfortable spending more time if you have it. Dining is currently limited to 2 hours per sitting and they have a reduced menu, but are still providing a quality dining experience in spite of the current circumstances. Easy to book online and get availability confirmed immediately.

We had breakfast on a Saturday Morning. 4 Adults and 4 children 4&under. The staff were welcoming, saw that we were in desperate need of coffee ensure we got it fast. Helped us park our extremely large pram out of the way & sorted out (very clean) high chairs. The food was good had breakfast staples as well a few different options. Plenty of G/F - I went with the sweet potato waffles. We had an incident (it was always going to happen with 4 small children) and a glass was smashed. They couldn't have handled it better. All up - the food was tasty, but the customer service was amazing. The staff were absolutely brilliant. This is a great family friendly option in Melbourne CBD.

I have been looking at Henry and the fox for some time and have had too many choices. With a number of places closed for renovations I decided to give them a go. I had a steak sandwich and it was very good. It also came with a side of chips. The only criticism was it was a bit pricey $24. It was pretty busy so other people also obviously like it. We came across this pub by accident bur will return for the great food and service - especially in the quieter back area of the restaurant, where we enjoyed our food and did not have to yell at one another to be heard over the meal. Nicely done.

We had the lamb gnocchi and steak and they were both hands down the best meal we had that week. The service was fantastic too. When the manager found out it was our wedding anniversary, he gave us free drinks! Highly recommend.

Visited during Brunch on a Saturday. Venue was somewhat busy. Service is good at this place and it was a smiling and friendly experience for us. We were welcomed and promptly shown a table by a friendly waitress. During our meal the same waitress came over a couple of times and asked how everything was. The Manager also came over to check up and closed the door as the draft was coming in. My partner appreciated the thoughtfulness. The dishes were ok but not something that blew us away. The sald was quite dry and the other dishes lacked flavour. Maybe it was an off day. I would give it another go.

Visited for dinner on Saturday evening with the family. The venue was not busy, which surprises. The food was excellent. We ordered the mushroom risotto that had just the right dash of truffle oil - superb. The Salt and Vinegar calamari was a delight. So tender and crispy - the perfect share plate for us all. The pepperoni pizza had the right hint of hot and cheesy that put a smile on the dial of the kids. Add in the ravioli and the chicken burger - check, check and check! All the kids were well sorted! Finally, the eye fillet perfectly done medium rare, nice char with a pink centre. The bearnaise sauce accompaniment was spot on. Had breakfast here one Sunday in September. The place was quite quiet but filled slowly while I was there. My breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Bacon was beautiful! I heard that cafes are "lazy" in Australia, meaning they close early and close on weekends. But NOT this cafe. My family stayed at intercontinental hotel and came over here for breakfast. It is 5-min walk. Very friendly and warm staff. Food is of generous portion and has nice presentation. Coffee is good. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

We headed here for lunch to use an eat club discount that was there. It is a very nice spot in the middle of the city and helps you get out of the busy lifestyle. My friends got the hash brown whilst I got the pan seared chicken breast under the "larger plates" category. The hash brown was served with bacon, poached eggs and spinach which was a good combination. On the other hand, my chicken was just a small breast with a a tasty sweet corn puree. The chicken was dry too which put me off. This didn't leave a good taste in me as I was expecting for a good quantity going for the larger plate, but I would visit the place again to give it another go for sure!

My husband and I did the gin cocktail making class/tasting for his birthday a few weeks ago. We absolutely loved it! Super friendly staff, delicious canapés that were much more than we expected, and even my bar tender husband learned a fair bit about gin. We had a blast! Food was nice enough, if not a touch cold. I think the main issue here is a considerable lack of staff. 40 minute wait on orders, 3 eggs Benedicts and a hashbrown breakfast brought out in relative succession, then a wait on the last person's order of waffles? We had all finished by the time the waitress collected the waffles from the window after the bell was rung twice. Very close to 2 stars, though as stated, the food was nice.

I love the atmosphere of this place! All the little details really put it together, even things like their custom wine glasses with their own logo on them. The staff were incredible, very kind, good light conversations, and attentive to your needs. The food was also on par, we tried their penne and butchers cut for the night (eye fillet) and they cooked it as we wished. The only downside was that their desserts weren't their strongest points. The flavour combinations were great but each component was far too sweet. At times it felt like you were just eating spoonfuls of sugar. Overall I recommend going to Henry and The Fox. I plan to visit again sometime.

Food was delicious, lovely sunlit cafe, but service was extremely slow. Took 15 minutes to receive 3 barista made drinks, and another 45 minutes on top of that to receive food. Couldn’t get wait staff attention to order food before the drinks came out. Last dish wasn’t brought out until the rest of us had finished, Monday brunch-ish sort of time. No fault of the staff from what I saw, perhaps understaffed for the number of tables occupied while we were there? Seemed to be doing the best they could.

Such a great place ... Atmosphere here is really lovely along with decor , and is really nice location in the middle of the city and has plenty of space. Had breakfast here. Coffee was perfectly average, far from the best or worst I've had. The menu changed from their website which I wasn't a fan of since what I had planned on ordering wasn't available. What I ended up getting was toast and eggs. Pretty middle of the road again. Went to this restaurant tonight with friends, we ordered a pizza and a risotto. After some waiting, our food came out. My risotto was cold and the pizza we ordered didn't have enough topping and was dry. We told the staff we were unhappy with the meals and they adjusted the total amount.

People dont know how to line up and makes it difficult collecting drinks etc with so many people jammed in 1 section. If the coffee machine wasnt where it was, that may change this. Located towards the business end of the CBD, Henry and the Fox is convenient for a weekday breakfast, business lunch or coffee. It's a reasonably large space, so it's well equipped/suited to accommodate groups. Cannot fault the service, but coffee itself is average.
