My dad and I dined here today and we can honestly say that we were served with the best food we have eaten in a long time. Their food was made with love, care and authenticity, which shone through every dish they served. Their staff were the most polite and friendliest we have ever seen at a restaurant. The owner welcomed us in with open arms like family members and set a warm atmosphere that made us comfortable from the get go. Today I visited Kesari in Woodlea for the first time to have lunch. I am not familiar with Indian cuisine so I order the "Working Lunch Platter" which included two variations of curry, bread, rice, yoghurt and a sweet. The food was delicious, so much flavour and very fresh. The bread was amazing. I took a photo and have attached it to the review, cannot believe a meal of this quality and quantity was only $14.95! Looking forward to visiting again and bringing family and friends.

This is my 3rd catering party arranged by Kesari Woodlea in last 2 month. All of our guest really like the taste of the food. One thing I noticed they don’t compromise on quality and even though quantity is too good. Owner of the restaurant came to deliver and did all the setup and even don’t charge me extra.

Recently went to Kesari for dinner. Even though we reached at around 9 PM with kitchen closing by 9:30 pm we received very good service from all. There was push or hurrying to select and place order. We were given time to choose. We ordered mix of veggie and non veggie dishes. Starters were tasty and was fresh. Main course portions were very generous size and taste and quality was top. Mango lassi was ok. Kesari is the best restaurant in Melton area.

Guys I was reading reviews of some customers about service and I feel bad that I didn’t place my experience. Last week I went to the restaurant at 10:20 PM when the restaurant had stopped taking new orders and was going to close at 10:30 pm. Owner was standing at the front and when I spoke to him and said I was hungry and needed food, he went to the kitchen and took my order and ensured that I got the food. I got goat kadai and tandoori roti which was good. The best customer service I have experienced in my life.

Most of the time when I order authentic Indian food, my children never eat they will make one or other excuse sometimes they will say too oily sometimes they say spices but when I took them to Kesari woodlea for the very first time they did liked the chicken noddles. Palak paneer was very nice. I really like the ambience, food and staff service of the restaurant and will be visiting again.

I am a regular customer of kesari since they started in September and take at least 3 takeaway orders in a week. All time I clearly mention the staff taking orders to make the items for my kids to be mild and it always does come in the way we want. Last order I placed noodles for my kids and szechuan noodles for myself. Both items tasted great.

Frankly speaking it’s my 10 years in Melbourne and tried multiple Indian restaurant for palak paneer where most of them uses processed material which you can say when you take the first bite. With this restaurant the palak paneer really win my heart. I love the really authentic taste and their service can good. I will recommend and will come again.

I am back in Melbourne after a few years away and I used to work in CBD and was a regular lunch customer at Melbourne Central. Now I moved to plumpton and was searching for good indian food when someone told me to try kesari woodlea. I had the paneer tikka, garlic naan and the dal makhani - it was perfect,. I’ll definitely be back.

My suggestion is don't use too much chillies in everything. Kids can't eat too spicey food. You guys use too much chillies as compared to other Indian restaurants. Be mindful your restaurant is in Melbourne not in South India so not all people can eat that much chillies. Review updated - I think now they have changed their chefs. Improved a lot in quality.

HONEST REVIEW: this restaurant stands out in terms of their north Indian food and ambience. Very poor in terms of south Indian food. Paneer Tikka, chat, Manchurian, shahi paneer were absolutely delicious. The dosa, sambhar, chutney, potato bhaji in the dosa were low quality and the dosa was too thick and would not recommend. Ambience and service with the robot was nice...would recommend that you give a try but avoid all south Indian food
