Five stars for their service and 3.5 for their food. It's actually not bad and it could be just me who was'nt wowed by Polish food. The flavours were all very mild and nothing seemed to stand out. Regardless it was unique to experience a different cuisine and what can be better than doing it without having to travel far. Prices weren't cheap but servings were generous.

This place should be packed every night. Food quality is amazing and fresh, and the staff are super friendly. A great selection of Polish beer too! Reminds me of going to my Polish friends house as a kid, and his Matka and Babcia cooked you a meal fit for a king! Thanks for the amazing home style cooked meal. We will be back for sure!

What a wonderful little spot away from the city. The food is very home cooked style, hearty and warming. The flavours are really surprising and delightful. If you go, ask for the beetroot soup, it’s a beautiful flavour that will warm your heart.

This is a great dining experience trying some really tasty Polish cuisine. It was like going over to a favourite friend or family's home for dinner. There is an extensive menu to choose from but the owners were more than happy to make recommendations. The owners are proud to share the food they grew up with their customers and it shows in their passion through the food and hospitality. The food was of the highest quality when compared to your average restaurant. The entrees, mains and dessert were all top class and full of flavour. For those unsure of trying something other than your local pub, you won't be disappointed coming here, and like me, I am sure you will want to return after your first visit here.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Kluska restaurant last night & I was so impressed with the genuine, friendly & humble service of the owner who clearly is very passionate about delivering authentic Polish cuisine to Melbournians & Australians alike. The atmosphere was simple & homely, no frills, leaving all the focus on the delicious food. The Polish in me felt very connected & satisfied wanting for more, but too full to fit in another bite! I will be back again soon with friends in tow to sample more delicacies!

Visited Kluska for the first time today and the food was truly delicious and authentic. We had been eagerly waiting for them to open at new premises at Knox. It’s an odd spot for a restaurant but perhaps when all the building work around them is finished it will have a different vibe. The space is pleasant but not cosy and the FM radio blaring out at lunchtime was irritating. But the important thing was the food which was very, very good. We enjoyed a selection of Chelb ze smalcem:Pork spread with onion, garlic & spices on a slice of polish bread, Pierogi stuffed with beef and Pierogi stuffed with potato and cottage cheese and a serve of Gołąbki: Cabbage leaf filled with rice, pork and beef mince, topped with homemade tomato sauce served with potatoes. Looking forward to returning and eating our way through the menu... Highly recommended...

The food is authentic here. The pierogis are delicious! A lot of love goes into making them and you can tell just by how nicely they are wrapped... we had the potato and cottage cheese and pork and sauerkraut- both were so tantalising it’s hard to say which one was better. We also ordered the cabbage rolls which were massive in size and had a lot of meat filling. My son enjoyed the crepe with cottage cheese- he ate the whole crepe on his own. We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend heading here for a filling and authentic meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuine. I wish this restaurant was closer to our home I think I would be doing takeaways twice a week!

Our first time in their new premises. I reckon the food has improved as well. Look, everyone's Granny cooked Polish food better than everyone else's Granny. However, the Pierogi were very tasty and good. Again, placki were not the same as my mother's(or wife for that matter). But they were good in their own right. My only criticism would be that the goulash was just a little watery. Otherwise, the food was good and tasty. The service was excellent, staff were accommodating and the owner did very well for looking after our group of 14 people. Sto Lat!!!

Finally a better Polish restaurant in Melbourne, despite being far from the city. You're first welcomed into a nicely décored period home transformed into a restaurant. Then you've a nice and sunny (depending on the weather) courtyard where you can also sit and eat. We were warmly welcomed by our waitress, Lynda, who was charming and hospitable. She was very patient and delightful to talk to. We had a decent conversation. So as far as service goes, this place gets 5 stars. Finally coming to the most important thing, the food itself. The food here was closest to what I'd expect in Poland. Lubię pierogi i barszcz. Dziękuję Lynda i Kluska Restaurant.

First time having Polish food and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant. At first, standing outside it looked pretty average and out-of-the-way. Wait staff are super friendly and help you out with the menu, portion size and recommendations. I recommend trying one of the Polish vodkas for drinks, the pickled cabbage for sides (had to buy a separate container to take home, as it was so delicious) and the Polish dumplings for dessert. This is just honest, traditional, home-cooked Polish food made with the freshest ingredients. So if you haven't tried Polish food before, I highly recommend you start here!!!!

Both the cuisine and the atmosphere are fantastic, the owners pay a lot of attention to details, whether it's the authentic decoration (including regional flowers on the garden beds outside) or the recipes. Our party of three arrived at 8pm on Friday. The place had only 1 other table of guests. The service was friendly and welcoming. The golabki was nice. The roast duck tended to be dry and possibly overcooked. Dumplings were tasty and tender. The cheesecake had great flavour, but was too firm.

Amazing service as they were willing to deliver an arrangement of tastes from the menu, regardless of not having this as an option on their menu. Food to die for. History and assurance around the authenticity of the meals was provided with enthusiasm and love. Absolutely.love this place came in for dinner on a Friday night on a spare of a whim and did not regret it the food was amazing so hearty normal me and my partner can eat quite a large amount we struggled to get through 2 mains and a entrees and be able to save enough room for dessert we had the lazy peroggi which was great they were pillowy soft with just the right amount of butter, cottage cheese and crumbs and for mains we had the hunters stew which had a really nice balance of sour krout meats and sausage and fresh bread with a extremely generous portion of butter and also the potato pancake with goulash which was a massive winner in my opinion had beautiful crispy edges to the pancake which was a nice surprise as it came covered In a beautifuly made goulash that was velvety and rich, the staff were incredible so friendly and polite I would highly recommend this place for anyone that that love polished food or for anyone that might feel like trying something new, looking forward to the next time I go so I can try the borscht and a few other things

Having eagerly awaited the oepning of Kluska i was hoping that the hype would not surpass the quality of food. Fortunately this was not the case. Although the Restaurant itself somewhat, but not overly small, the quality of food was excellent. The Polish sausage and Pierogi were very good, and the service very warm and welcoming. Also, my friends and i were essentially the only non-Poles in their, which is a good sign when dining at a foreign restaurant. The only thing i would suggest would be to do a slight makeover of the dining room, and make it loook a little less metallic, however these are minor details. Overall 4/5.

We were looking for something completely different and found Kluska. My wife and I have never eaten Polish food previously but found such a variety choice here. We stuck with something we knew well which was the schnitzel but prepared beautifully and with accompanying cucumber dish plus baked potatoes and sour kraute. The service was excellent and pricing very reasonable, although Kluska is situated in a industrial estate and next to Burwood hwy you can feel a warm and inviting atmosphere. Full marks all round and we will be back to try something completely different next time.

Caffe stile establishment, not a restaurant, however the prices are on the higher end. Good idea, definitely polish cuisine, but they completely missed on flavours. Everything taste like dietary, no seasoning at all. Was looking forward to have home made polish food, but left somewhat disappointed. This is on taste only, but if I have to mention that they did not have any alcohol, because it was pending of licensing approval even on the website was listed a number of thing - it was bad. Also, $2.50 for one pirog is completely ridiculous. My beef, apart from missing on flavours, was tuff. Understand they run this restaurant for a while just moved to different location. Good luck to them, but they have to improve quality. BTW photos from the website are deceiving. They are from previous site, new one doesn’t look like at all.

Modern decor with traditional touches, tasty and well presented meals however we expected more for the price points on the menu. First of all - after ordering there was no bread or alternative complimentary starter. When the borsch came out we were offered three slices of stale Vienna bread. Nothing Polish about it. I would have thought a fresh out of the oven rye bread with garlic, butter and dill would have been a better choice to soothe the soul. For the borsch we expected more substance from the dish and were served a "diet" version.

Great first Polish food experience! Food was very tasty and staff were super friendly and nice. Loved everything especially the crepes - which were so light and fluffy! Beef and pork pierogis were very tasty! Highly recommend over other types. The White Sausages were cooked to perfection and very well seasoned, absolutely stunning when paired with some mustard and the sauerkraut. Salad was super fresh and horseradish and mustard dipping sauces were very tasty. Gnocchi was extraordinary! Incredible texture with a really nice chew, beef goulash was very hearty and tasty, which went so well with the pickled purple cabbage. Also tried the vodka with apple juice and was surprised as to how smooth and easy to drink it was! Definitely a must try. Only complaint is that one of the pierogi was undercooked, some parts of the skin (dough) was still hard and raw. Keen to try other food items during a future visit! 📷 Pierogi - Chicken, Beef, Pork & Buckwheat & Cottage Cheese, Biala Kielbasa Pieczona (baked white sausage), Kopytka (Polish Gnocchi) with Beef Goulash, Strawberry & Prune Naleśnik (crepe), Nutella Naleśnik (crepe).
