The staff was really nice and friendly. Huge space and got a parking as well. We ordered spicy prawn pasta and it tasted soooo nice!! Also their butterscotch and mocha were on point too 👌 The servings are quite big though.

Rob is a star! Great attitude even though it was a public holiday. It’s obvious he has a passion for customer service. Walking in the doors was a treat as we (My partner and I) were immediately met with aromas of frying bacon and charcoal from the grill. Lazy Moes Oakleigh is an amazing place to go eat! Went for the first time as my family are constantly thriving about the service and food and they did not disapoint! Probably the best restaurant service I have had in Australia with real friendly and helpful staff! Family run but they make you feel like you were part of that family. The food was amazing with crazy huge portions! I can eat but I had the Ribs and Wing's special and almost died trying to finish it! Tasted amazing and was huge! Drink sizes were fantastic and the general pricing was great! Honestly a great place to go and eat so I will definitely be back to attempt the Parma's

Put simply: reasonable prices, good quality food, insane portion sizes! These are cosy family restaurants where you can bring an average sized and leave without having to have let go of your down payment on your next property. So if you're going to complain about the quality of food in comparison to your last visit to Gordon Ramsay's Maze, you're being a twit! Portion sizes have undoubtedly shrunk to previous years. That said, a main can still feed to adults or fifteen teenage girls (without exaggerating).

Met friend for lunch the other day and I ordered the seafood paella. It was the best seafood paella I have had at any restaurant in Melbourne or Spain! Very generous serving with plenty of seafood. This review may miss a number of aspects and be quite subjective but hey this is my personal experience. I have only come to the restaurant twice. Both of them are during times there are very few customers so I cannot say about when the restaurant was full and busy. Also i have yet to taste every dishes on the menu so it is another thing that may not be wholly true. From what i can see, the restaurant’s dishes fully illustrate my style of wanting to have a main dish that would fill my stomach thoroughly. I myself was a big eater and yet i struggled with just a side dish and the main dish. Usually i have no problem even with 2 main dishes and some tapas from other shops. The dish itself not only “heavyweight” but also decently to my eyes. Since i am not native to these dishes i can not compare them but i will say i like them quite well. The price and the portion of each dish is not for light eater so i would suggest bringing some friends or family with you. Though the price is above the average threshold it is definitely well-spent. The atmosphere is casual but lovable to not make first timer too shy and still offering a cozy and neat environment. To sum up, every dollar i spent at Lazy Moe is every dollar well-spent and every compliments i made is every word worth saying. For myself i surely will return but not regularly, they fed me too well, got to keep my figure. :)

Good value place to eat as the serving sizes are huge. As the wait staff said to me, nobody leaves hungry. Wide range of choices on the menu and they seem to do it well. Suggest that you order less as the serving sizes here are generous and it's easy to order more later if you really need it. Add to this the very friendly staff here who were very accommodating, friendly and did everything they could to make sure we were happy.

Ok where do I begin! We have been here twice now and honestly it's amazing! The staff are absolutly the best sweetest servers and cooks I've ever met in my life and I have worked in hospitality for over 10 years! The main lady with blonde hair was so absolutly amazing we re booked again for tomorrow night with all our friends aswell! The Parmi's (parma's) are HUGE!!!! It was a struggle to finish and the soft drinks are massive aswell honestly you get so much bang for your buck here and the people are wonderful I love coming to eat here even though I'm half an hour drive away this is now going to be my new regular. Clean, great food, great staff and all round great place :)

Dined at Lazy Moes Oakleigh last night with my family for my Dads 73rd Bday and it was FANTASTIC! Dad is adamant that’s where we’ll be going for the rest of his birthdays ongoing. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious and the servings were beyond generous! Service was also top notch across the board and a special mention to Frank and Anna who really looked after us. Thanks to all the team for making the night a special one - highly recommend! Oh and if you like a juicy massive Rib-Eye on the bone - look no further Lazy Moes!

All I can say is....wow, the amount for food you get for the money you pay is astonishing! We learned after our first visit that it's best to not eat anything prior to going. We've gone a few times skipping lunch just to be able to fit in all the dinner! The prices are fantastic, although the drinks are quite pricey, so we just tend to drink water when we are there. With the sheer size and richness of the meals, water to wash it down is far better anyway. Oh! Bring containers with you to take away! They don't offer takeaway and I can almost assuredly tell you that you will likely be defeated by the meal, so don't waste it and bring a container with you to take it home. Talking from experience here, even with skipping lunch I've been seriously defeated. Staff have also been super friendly and helpful, we were even given a free platter of pancakes with chocolate, ice-cream and strawberries on it simply because they forgot one of the orders we placed for one our children. It definitely made up for it!

It has a ambiance feeling to the place. staff also put you at ease. You can choose to eat inside or outside. The menu is very extensive so it should be easy to find something to eat as its a great range of al international foods. Even for the fussiest of people. They have lots of different alcohol extensive cocktail menu an very amazing pancakes and big slices of homemade cakes. The food has always been beautiful and reasonable prices. I attended Lazy Moe's in Oakleigh on the 30th December during a peak period for a catch up with friends and found that bot the food and service was fantastic. Mel who attended our table was very friendly and courteous with our service and took that extra steps to look after my son who arrived a little later (that my friends, you can't put a price on!!) The Chef/possible owner also greeted us to see how our meals were (which are truly man size portions) and was also very open and friendly. Meals were cooked to perfection (as I'm very fussy), the venue was extremely clean and presentable (again, I'm very fussy about dirty tables) and brilliant staff. I'd fully recommend it to all my friends and family. Keep up the great work and Happy New Year.

I have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner many times and have never found fault- unbelievable all the bad reviews, maybe they should go back to eating at Crown for the snobs. I loved coming here for a few reasons. The winning point with this place will be the portion sizes and the fact that you can take home what you don't finish. The trade off in this instance is the lack of taste in some of their dishes. I ordered a chicken parma that tasted like microwave heated leftovers. I didn't realize I had ordered rubbery chicken? The service is usually good, credit to the young waiters. That Old Caucasian fella is usually rude. By rude, just not very warm, welcoming, very stand off-ish, you don't feel comfortable ordering food from him kinda Rude. Expect just that from him. I thought he was racist, but who knows? Don't be afraid to tell him what's up though. Since my last visit though he was exceptionally nice..maybe He read these reviews. If you are reading this old Man, don't be afraid to smile :-) and give good service. Also, the taste in food has become quite bland and the desserts that sit in the cabinet don't taste fresh at all. Those things sorted this could be an amazing establishment!

Jumbo sized portions of food with a wide variety menu to choose from. I’d say pricing is fair considering the amount presented. Lot of seating available inside as well as outside. However, they do not have specials on their menu for a large group of people. Something they need to consider! On the contrary Sofia’s has a special offer for birthdays! Bring along 10+ friends and the birthday person eats for free :) However, all that being said they are very rude about how you need to go get water for yourself! There is a better polite way to say it! E.g “There is self serve water” or “help yourself with water at the counter” etc. Hospitality basics !

Exterior is like a Mexican cantina. Interior is a mix of retro American diner and modern-ish Australian bar. Food selection is extensive and multicultural. Had an HSP Parma, a dish that some may find blasphemous but one that I found resoundingly satisfying. You should check this place out.
