Have never left Lezzet hungry or disappointed. It’s a fresh feast, great service and a lovely vibe. We always start with the dips. Try not to order extra bread, just overload what you’re given. Carrot, surprisingly is out absolute fave. Istanbul Lamb, the pilaf and calamari are our faves. We love it all. Often we book through the Fork and are delighted when we score a 50% food (not banquet) table. Recommend.

Wow, the food was sensational - it definitely exceeded our high expectations after reading all the glowing reviews! Beautiful combination of flavours. Standout dishes were the roasted tomatoes, the beetroot side dish, and the 40hr lamb. The Turkish rosè wine was excellent too. Service was lacking a bit, but everything else was great.

Saturday 28/02/2020 @ 12pm booking for two We had 3 entrees and 2 mains and were done in about 90mins. We also had the 50% discount. Nothing wrong with the service. Added the 2nd main later while I will still trying to decipher the menu. Oh, and Turkish dumplings, aint like Chinese dumplings, or Indian momos, or Italian ravioli, lol. Prob closest to tiny tortellini with a speck of meat in the middle. So yeah, don't get if you are looking for a meat dish... but if you want a creamy pasta dish that's super filling and doesn't have an intense flavour like other things on the menu, def get👍🏾 Pricing, portion size, service I guess are all subjective, but we didn't have any concerns. I guess over time, a long established restaurant will vary in service, quality and pricing, esp after the last couple of years as I'm sure there were impacts with the pandemic 🤷🏾‍♂️ But I can def say without a doubt, that if you are tired of having the same old bland flavours when you go out, def come here for something different 😁 Some people have said this is fine dining, so prob had higher expectations... I didn't feel that, but we were there when they opened for lunch. Nice looking venue and heaps laxed. I dunno what makes something "fine dining" but I don't think this is it. Favourite was def the Kofte Durum, but I'm a sucker for kebab/souvlaki/burrito/wrap style foods 😅 Oh and the cheese sticks (forgot to ask if the halloumi was super salty but luckily it wasnt). Prob will be back at some point to try the other mains. And desserts too as we were too full to try any. If I had to nitpick for constructive criticism... The entree ribs had minimal meat on them from what I was expecting. Lamb shoulder was a bit dry in the middle, but lashing of sauce kinda covered that.

My first time trying Turkish food. I was amazing by thr entree, the cheese cigar is THE BEST! So fluffy, light and crunchy. I love my stuff squid. Very flavoursome. I like the ambience of the restaurant, lighting is just right to set the mood. The only critic would be my partner complaining the chair is not comfortable to sit for long.

Absolutely amazing service by the waitstaff. Alex was a wonderful person and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious, especially the Kuzu and Tavuk which was a wonderful blend of Lavash and the meat. It was complemented well with the eggplant salad (Patlican). Fantastic place to dine in, I would highly recommend coming here.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was exquisite, everything we ate was delicious (we had a 5 course meal). The food came out in such a timely manner, and every dish was as delectable as the previous. We left feeling incredibly full and so happy! Staff were equally amazing, very friendly and also efficient. They even helped carry our things out to the car. Bless! One of our biggest concerns from re-ordering is, consistency in the quality and taste, thankfully Lezzet has always been consistent. Especially we are extremely fond of lamb kebab / cutlet and chicken kebab and the bulgar salad. Omg!! It's definitely one among our those places we run to for comfort food. Their meal deals for two are a.grab!! Absolutely love you guys!!

My friends and I met up at Lezzet over dinner. The food was really tasty and great. Then we finished off with Kanufe. The only thing that I’d like to mention here is that I wish aircon was on or at least windows were open. The air wasn’t fresh while we were sitting there.

Your 4 meats pizza is one of the best things I have ever eaten! The meat and cheese were incredible. If I just ordered that I'd have given a perfect 5 stars. Unfortunately though your broccolini side was a little underwhelming with the amount inside the box and what you charge for it. My girlfriend and I had barely 2 pieces each 😐 was really not worth the cost I'm sorry. Will definitely come back for more pizza though 💯

My family and I visited for the first time last week and we were totally blown away. Everything was impeccable. Even my mother, who is very fussy, left thoroughly impressed. The generous portions and warm vibe made us feel like we were at a dinner with extended family. For entrees, we ordered the Kalamar (calamari), Koft Durum (lamb kofte), Manti (beef dumplings) and Lahmacun (minced lamb). For mains, we had Cerkez Tavuk (grilled chicken & walnut paste), Guvec (Seafood Claypot), Istanbul Kuzu (leg of lamb), Kalamar Dolma (squid) with a side of Pilav. We were running late, and I currently require use of a wheelchair, but the staff were lovely and accommodating, asking each diner to stand up while they rearranged a path for me to my table. We can't wait to return and try the platters!

Great casual family atmosphere and good-sized servings. We ordered too much but left without the feeling we had been fleeced-very reasonable bill for the quantity and quality of food. We love its wealthy sister Tulum but highly recommend the innovative dishes here. It was a bit noisy and not the best location but you go for the food and warm atmosphere. Service was a tad patchy; we had to ask twice for some things, and drinks were late - but we are cognizant of the post covid challenges, so forgive them.

We ordered the: ✨ chefs favourite mezes - mushroom croquettes, cheese cigars, lentil kofte, dip and Turkish bread ✨Istanbul tavuk - Smokey char grilled chicken ✨Guvek - seafood claypot, barramundi, prawns, mussels, calamari, scallops, black olives and pilav (rice included) Caveat- I’m not familiar with Turkish cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed the Nar cocktail - which was more balanced compared to Kavun which erred on the sweet side. In terms of food, the chefs selection was a good way to sample their starters if you couldn’t choose. The combination of food was a delight to finish. The standout dish was the guvek, which was like a seafood rissoto but BETTER. The chargrilled chicken was good too. I would skip the cauliflower and chickpea salad - it was a bit bland for my liking. All in all, very generous servings and a wonderful time here. Love the ambience and perfect for families.

Loved our experience here. Service was good, atmosphere and decor had a strong middle eastern cave feeling to it. The food is amazing here. Flavoured perfectly, no dish were ever too salty or under seasoned. The meats especially the lamb was fall off the bone tender. It was that tender that it would melt in your mouth... We have been to this place twice. This is one of those rare places where all(most) the dishes have been exceptional - tasty, unique and quality ingredient. Food here are of Turkish based but with a touch of Middle Eastern influence. Twice left the restaurant feeling impress and of good value. Famed Turkish restaurant Lezzet really does live up to its hype. The four of us shared the Lezzet Platter and the Meze Platter, and the hits definitely surpass the misses. Starting off with the Meze Platter, the highlight for me was definitely the cheese cigar. Incredibly flaky filo pastry, stuffed with a wonderfully seasoned filling made up of spinach and fetta cheese. The meats were all cooked to perfection, and I can't fault any of the items on the Lezzet Platter. Tender and flavourful cuts of grilled and slow-cooked lamb, paired with succulent grilled chicken and piquant sujuk, this was a meat eater's paradise. Also impressive was the Istanbul Lamb. The bold flavours of the lamb went beautifully with the lavash with its crisped edges and soft centre, soaking up all the delicious sauce. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the night, perfectly rounding off this wonderful experience.

I don't write reviews and this is my first one. We had the pleasure eating at Lezzet in Elwood for the first time on Tuesday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Put simply it was a stunning experience. Our waiter was named Chris and he was exceptional. I have never in my 66 years had such incredible service. He was so attentive and professional, so good at his job, spoke to us with such care and class. He clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does and his workplace, he's clearly an asset to Lezzet. We were recommended the Elma cocktail for starters and the Karma Chardonnay and for my husband the Suvla Cab Sav after his efes beer as he loves red wine. Chris then suggested the 5 course degustation ... What a beautiful and tasty selection of food. The whole experience was something I will never forget. Stunning and eloquent. We will be back again and tell everybody we know what a special place this restaurant is. Thank you Lezett for making our special day one to remember

Overall a wonderful experience, the menu isn’t overwhelming but every single dish we had was brilliantly crafted (although maybe under seasoned), it will be hard to walk past the restaurant and not stop for the dumplings every time. Service is friendly and sometimes a little slow but that just gave us a chance to enjoy the atmosphere. Looking forward to going back to try other things.

First night back after lockdown, we were all so excited to get back out and enjoy Melbourne's amazing food scene. Lezzet did not disappoint, the platter to share was delicious. The stuffed squid was also full of flavour. We topped it all off with the pastry cheese dessert which was insane! Accompanied by some unique Turkish inspired cocktails and a velvety Turkish Pinot Noir. We also Loved being near the wood fired oven seeing all the cooks in action. Can't wait to come back.

My experience is abit different here. I went to see this restaurant on a whim via an interview and from what I can they seem like nice business here. Not sure if I'm a right candidate for the job here as lockdowns and personal bereavement have hit me pretty hard here. They did treat me in a warm and hospitable manner here though. Alisa & Baris were great, upon waiting I was treated with a micro cuppacino which hit me like a ton of bricks! Wow what a pocket rocket that was. Like I said I'm probably not the right candidate they're looking for but the experience I felt was great if overwhelming on my part. I wish this business well into the foreseeable future and I may even grab a bite to eat on a weekend sometime. Cheers.

Can’t fault a thing! We had the share menu with 4 course menu and everything from the meze to their lamb and dessert was just amazing! Honestly haven’t tasted good quality food like that in a long time. The staff were also so friendly and kept checking in on us. Consistently good Turkish food - had not been for about 6 years since moving out of the area but pleased to find out the meat dishes are just as fresh, tender and tasty as ever. We had the $49 pp platter which is well worth it if you're a meat lover (the rice is a star in itself). Maybe some improvement in terms of the desserts would be a good idea...I found them a little lacklustre and more of an after-thought...not bad but not great, especially if you've ever visited Turkey's cake shops.

I'll give it 5 stars to support local but just got some Manti for takeaway for the second time. Which was very disappointing, it was very dry and teaspoon of yoghurt sauce. The guys from Phat Pizza which connects to Lezzet somehow, had no clue what Manti was. When a customer does call Lezzet it should be directed to the Lezzet staff and not Phat Pizza as they have no clue about the Turkish dining.

This place is wonderful! If your in the area it's a must to go visit. We went yesterday and the staff where so attentive and curtious. It was my birthday and they really made sure my family and I where having a great night and that I felt special. The food is lovely and dessert even more so. We sat outside and it's the first restaurant that I actually loved the outdoor seating, it was heated, covered and intimate. Highly recommended.

Great food, couldn't fault that. However the unecessary dance music was loud, made the whole meal feel stressful (as you were having to shout) and totally didn't go with the ambiance. Over all, a good experience. The food was great, nice lighting and set up of the restaurant itself. The only downside was the service from front of house. Perhaps there was lots of new staff, but there was lots of tension, stress and attitude happening. They really didn’t seem happy. The expectation of a 90 minute sitting was set as we arrived - maybe this could have been done when making our reservation. Our table was not ready when we arrived and we had to wait for a high chair. The waiter was a little stand-offish. But accommodated is with our request to not have our baby sit in a high foot traffic area. The İstanbul Kuzu and Adana were excellent as were the meze. The Güveç tasted more like a Thai lemongrass dish, which was unexpected at a Turkish restaurant. But all in all it will be worth returning. Elinize sağlık.

Very classy place but well-priced. I shared Turkish bread, a lamb dish, an entree and two vegetable sides with two friends and we were all filled with leftover food to take away. The lamb was succulent. Great atmosphere and decor. Highly recommended!

Came here with a large group and had the Lezzet platter, and it was honestly one of best meals I've ever had. The portions were very generous, and the food itself and the service was amazing. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars was the 5% credit card surcharge (which is actually illegal as you can't charge more than the cost of the transaction, and the fact this isn't mentioned anywhere on the menus).

Food was nice, but not what I ordered. I ordered seafood claypot & I got salmon wrapped in vine leaves, not something I'd go to a restaurant for, when I can make it myself. The dining experience was abysmal & very uncomfortable. We were asked 5 or 6x in 5 mins of seating , if we were ready to order! We ordered share platter for mezze, then were pestered again continuously during the mezze about ordering mains. The restaurant was not busy, but we were made to feel that we were not allowed to talk and relax over our meal. We have been 2x before, but this experience has made it our last!

Lezzet is a lovely Turkish restaurant with a warm, homely ambience. The lamb kofte is divine and every time I order it, it's served slightly differently but the lamb is always perfect. The zucchini fritters are an interesting thing to be on this sort of menu, I've had them twice now and they're great. Very fresh and crunchy on the outside. I'd also mention the kofte that you can get via takeaway (I think Ubereats) is delicious and much better value than the dine in options.

I could tell that if there wasn't table restrictions then every single table would be full and there would be line outside. I will be dreaming of the 40hr slow cooked lamb for weeks to come. If you have never been to Lezzet then you need to add it to the bucket list. P.S must try the Raki. This isn't just a restaurant to go eat food, this is an experience that must be felt.

Julie, the French waitress really took her time to go through the menu and explained it and made sure with the kitchen my nut allergy was well taken care of.
