If you’re a vegan and you miss food that is actually made with effort; GO TO THIS PLACE! Safe to say I haven’t seen many Italian restaurants in the northern suburbs cater so well to vegans. The vegan pizza was incredible as was the vegan Nutella donut! It made me so happy finally eating a dessert that was put together with thought and consideration. Thank Off the Boat for thinking of us! :)

Delicious pizzas and the fish shaped kids pizzas are great value. It’s also wonderful that gluten free and vegan options are the same price. The pastas could use a lot more sauce though. Quite disappointed with the amount of sauce my gnocchi game with.

This is hard to write because Off The Boat is honestly one of my favourites and being Italian pleasing us isn’t easy. The food was not the same tonight, I know it’s a horrible time for us all but please don’t lose that love you put into the food. The pasta was just not the same the sauce lacked unfortunately it just was not as tasty as usual. This won’t be the last time we eat from you and this isn’t even a negative review because the pizza and aranchini were so so good! Just had to let you guys know :(

SCENE: Lunch with the wife and kids for my birthday. Fantastic little shop with a great range of gelato and wood fired pizza. FOOD: I had the Quattro which came with 4 different toppings equally on the pizza. It was beautiful. Bases are very good. Great selection for the kids. DRINKS: Standard selection of drinks with some Mediterranean favourites thrown in. VENUE: Well run venue. Service is friendly and attentive. VALUE: Great value for money for the quality of food and service.$80 to feed my wife and I, and the 4 kids.

Lovely, family run pizzeria where your name is remembered when you return and which makes the best wood fire pizza in Melbourne! My favorite is the 'off the boat' pizza and I always order it with a tomato base (not bianco). The other pizza types are very delicious too, and they also can make gluten free pizza, which tastes very good! Their home made ice cream is also a treat, with an indulgent dark chocolate option which is my favorite! Highly recommended!

A total of 9 olives on my pizza. Mushrooms chopped up so finely to make it appear there was more. It also looked like the ingredients were social distancing as all the 9 olives were on 2 slices and the mushrooms were on another 3 slices. Very careless .

Very good pizza, like you would have it in Italy. The place is pretty cozy on the inside, with outdoor undercover seats available. Perfect spot for lunch after a walk along the creek or around the lake. Highly recommended.

Menu is a bit boring. Would love to see specials every so often. La sila doesn't work imo. Porcini flavour spoilt by the salami. Be nice to have a white base with porcini + truffle / bufala. Overall good italian food.

Friendly service. Delicious wood fired pizza and tasty home made gelato. Kids chicken strips were all batter, hardly any chicken. Window seats get hot even with the blinds drawn down. Clean toilets.

Italian food. I had a vegetarian Pizza and my daughter had a margherita, the base on both pizzas were very light and easy to cut trough with the sharp knifes we had. The vegetables were tasty and not just put on the pizza raw and then cooked ! The margherita's cheese was good and tasty and the tomato on both pizzas was from good ripe italian tomatos. The service was fast and professional, while the waiter (she) was mannered and took our orders in minutes. The price was $AU16 for the margherita and $AU19 for the vegetarian , while the supplied free water wasn't the best I had. The Red wine we ordered was a full bodied italian Montepulciano at $AU4 a glass..which was a good combination with our pizzas. We finished with 2 espressos or "caffè corto" which were of nice and full of flavour. Free Carpark can be found on the right of the restaurant near Reservoir Edwardes Lake or on the left behind the restaurant. Yes.. I had a nice lunch Italian style !
