This bakery is truly a hidden gem in Melbourne's north. My partner and I wanted to try something different and boy this bakery surely delivered! We ordered the labneh pizza, meat pizza and spinach and cheese pizza. The quality of the food was top notch, my favourite was the labneh pizza. We even got complimentary coffees with baklava on the side. I definitely highly recommend this place, finally, a place that knows what the word hospitality means!!

In case you did not know, there is something glorious, amazing, wondrous, and beyond the mere words I have in this mortal realm known as a cheese pie! Seriously, a cheese pie and it is terrific! Though my partner is strange and does not love cheese like I do, so they have enjoyed several other offerings from this lovely bakery that offers the yummiest of treats that are thankfully priced well enough we can afford them from time to time. Further, the staff have always been courteous no matter how busy, and the service fast. Every time someone I know comes to visit, I take them to get one of the wondrous cheese pies because until I moved to Thomastown I never knew such a spectacular creation existed. And if I have had a downright terrible day, it is hard to beat the comfort a simple, humble, but delicious cheese pie can provide.

I had sujuk pizza. I have to give 5 for this. Its wood fired, thin base( feels like Lebanese bread) and just right amount of toppings, not overloaded or burnt. I personally prefer thin base, so kudos to pull of such amazing pizza. Its able to hold when you take a piece without dropping. Plus they even have vegetarian options and the price is so affordable. Its so popular there is always a queue. The staffs so apologetic they even give free stuffs to some who were waiting there before me. Exceptional customer service! I will definitely come again. Oneway Lebanese bakery, best in terms of food. Service needs alot of work especially for non Lebanese/middle eastern customers. Busy morning so waited patiently. Noticed customers ordering after me already walking out the door. Regulars I guess. I'm talking customers not uber drivers.... The guy that ordered b4 received his order. So I politely asked where my order was. It was pinned in with orders already completed. This is over 20 mins of waiting. No apologies. Just give me 2 mins for your order!!!

I am ordered food via Menulog twice now and on both occasions, the restaurant took over one hour to assign a driver. Not good enough. UPDATE SINCE REPLY FROM OWNER - Thank you for your response. I've been buying Melbourne's best Lebanese pastries and pizza from One Way for about 15 years. Always great, made fresh daily. Friendly staff (It's a family business) are generous and also help introduce an Aussie-born guy like me to new food experiences. I went camping recently and bought 10 zatar breads before leaving. These were the best things in our bush kitchen. Even after 9 days, the last zatar was still better than the one day old, skanky Woolworths multi-grain buns we picked up from town. When in the bakery, check out the capsicum,onion,tomato,olive wraps,delicious. Just wish I didn't have to travel to the other side of town to get to them.
