We had some lovely non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails and colourful, healthy bowls. We enjoyed the decor - very cute! Staff were not very experienced and took a fairly long time to serve, despite being a quiet night. Overall enjoyed our experience.

We came here for a friend’s birthday and the restaurant itself is quite underwhelming. I expected the general dining space to be as pretty and as well cared for as the insta sections. The food wasn’t that great either, some of our party returned some dishes. A lot of that can be overlooked for a night out but overall it all just felt a bit gimmicky.

The decor is gorgeous for Photos and the staff are fantastic! All so friendly and welcoming! I went for Lunch on Sunday and really enjoyed the food and the Cocktail jugs. The girls checked in regularly to make sure we were happy and made the whole experience so enjoyable! Will be back for sure!

Second visit, this time choosing off the regular menu rather than the bottomless brunch. Restaurant is highly inaccessible - for prams and wheelchairs. Food is overpriced for what it is, but you pay for the pink bells and pink whistles anyway. I brought my two little daughters and it was fine for kids, albeit the inaccessibility. Drag queen was very hospitable, especially to the larger groups of women. Didn't really notice us. All in all nice for a treat but food is nothing to write home about especially given the price.

We had a great time at Pink. It was fun to go to a restaurant that is so heavily pink themed! The floral wall and decorations throughout the restaurant are beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If you are a large group be mindful that the booths only seat up to 7 people. If you have more than 7 people there is only one large table for big groups in the whole restaurant, so book early. If you like the flavour of rose water like I do, then you must try their garden of roses cocktail! Sweet but so delicious. Don’t try the espresso martini though. I’m an espresso martini and coffee lover but unfortunately theirs was one of the worst I’ve tasted. It was a very bitter espresso flavour with froth on top. The standard pizza base pizzas were delicious however if you’re gluten free, don’t order pizza. The gluten free base is still a work in progress and ours was very hard and tasteless. The manager was very accommodating however and apologised for this. I can highly recommend the polenta chips though. They were delicious! We ordered multiple plates for our table. All in all it was a fun experience at pink, there are a couple of improvements that could be made to perfect the gluten free pizza base and espresso martini’s however I would definitely return.

I was not sure what to expect as there are many reviews on here that contrast but most of the bad ones only have 1 historical review. It does seem like there is some ‘bandwagoning’ occurring here too from people who have never attended. Therefore, we gave It a go and it was wonderful. We were genuinely impressed. Although we did have a musical to get to, the staff were polite and good was delicious. We intend to go there again and try out the cocktails soon! A must try!

A Restaurant that represents integrity and gives back to charity, what a beautiful alignment. The food is instaworthy and the quality is high, thats really fresh and delicious. My chosen dish that I will go back for was the "Vegan from my head tomatoes Pizza" that is made with a cauliflower base that is also coloured pink from the veggie Beetroot. I had a really FUN night!!! Such a pretty venue. Perfect for date night, girls get together, hens, and mother daughter night out. xox

My 3 friends and I booked for my birthday. Our booking was for 8:15pm and our table wasn’t ready so the man at the desk sent us upstairs to take some photos. When we came back down at 8:30 the man at the desk had forgotten who we were. After explaining, we were seated (our table had no cutlery) and ordered drinks. We were brought water but no cups. We ordered our food approx 8:40. We ordered 1x pink bao, 2x chicken tacos, 1x beef sliders. At 8:55 we received the bao. At 9:20 I enquired how long our food would be as we had another booking elsewhere at 10pm. After a few waitresses had asked if we wanted more drinks, one was shocked to realise we hadn’t received our food. She went to find out what happened and the man from the desk came over and explained that our order had gone in at the same time as a large event upstairs and so this was the cause of the delay. We finally received our food at 9:30 and had to rush to eat it as we needed to leave by 9:45 at the latest. The food was yum but unfortunately we didn’t have time to finish it all and had indigestion from rushing. The waitresses were apologetic but no compensation was offered. I’m pretty disappointed as it made me feel unwell and disrupted my plans for the evening. Not sure if I’ll return. Such a shame because the decor and the food were yummy. Also they missed out on extra sales, we had planned on having dessert but obviously ran out of time. *I have also sent this via their feedback email

I went for a birthday lunch, beautiful interior all in Pink, good customer service from the waiter who took our order and the passionfruit mocktail that comes with the fairy floss, although it is small. Food is overpriced for what we ordered, taste ok (nothing wow) and it was abit cold. Drinks were great but that’s it. Not really worth the time and money.

Overpriced and underflavoured. The manager on duty was the highlight of the evening. He was lovely. The menu is on a badly photocopied a4 sheet of paper. The sweets section was white print on pink background and completely illegible. I suggested they be printed legible then placed under a plastic or glass table covering which would be covid safe and works well in other restaurants. Lastly we wanted to pay with 2 different cards as we had spent more than anticipated. They refused !! Sorry guys in pink!! I understand times are tough but...

Took my wife here for the first time and we really like the vibe and the food. The restaurant is buzzing and the sliders were delicious. Had the beef brisket and the chicken adobo, and both were on point. The chips had a quite unique taste as well, it had a nice tangy taste to it. Pink was such an amazing experience. We had the flower rolls, which were not only pretty but also delicious and then I had the pink curry and my partner had the beef ribs (he said they were perfectly cooked). Cocktails were also delicious and the staff very attentive. Ok, another point I feel compelled to make is that I am in hospitality and I had read a lot of reviews from people on here before I went and to be honest, there is clearly someone trying to attack this business as i can not see a 1 or 2 star review experience here whatsoever and in fact I told the manager this and that is why I felt compelled to make this review. The atmosphere and the pink vibe is amazing. Beautiful decor and environment. But the food is very limited not a lot of variety and they are overpriced for the portion of the food they deliver. Hard to understand how anyone can complain about any cocktails in Melb that cost $16-$18. You absolutely get what you pay for. A cocktail. It's not lavish, but its sweet, and cute. Exactly why people should come here. Is this joint a fine dining establishment? Hell no. But thats not the point of this joint. I love the place, and so do my girlfriends. Maybe some of the reviewers here need to use their common cents before leaving average or downright nasty reviews that could potentially kill a cute, unique and kinda sexy little party venue.

Went here with a couple of friends for my birthday, can't give a full 5 stars but my experience was pretty good. The waitress was lovely and knew what she was doing, the decor inside is quite cute and very pink which I loved, the opportunities for photos were slightly awkward though. The flower wall has tables with people sitting right in front of it so it was awkward for us to get photos which was a pity, but the upstairs photo area is great. Loved the bartender who was really vibing and dancing over at the bar while making drinks, you can tell he has a passion. I enjoyed my food but it was pretty average for such prices, especially bearing in mind that the food comes from the downstairs restaurant. Overall I did enjoy my stay but you can really tell that the restaurant only wins because of the pink decor and it getting posted heaps on social media. Would be nice if the menu had something special to it to make up for the prices. Solid 4 stars to Pink definitely though!

My google maps took me to the wrong side of the road, so it took a bit to find. This location is NOT access friendly, you have to go up two flights of stairs for the main area and more stairs for bathroom. However, it is well spaced with a variety of different seats and plenty of room between them. The staff were very nice, however the owner needs to invest in menu tastings for them. Given the price point for the dishes (high) it seemed most of the staff hadn't taste-tested most of the dishes. This made it hard for them to give proper recommendations. The "sweat" potatoes were very nice. The bartender was legit, though. He's clearly passionate about his craft.

We were pretty sure the pizza was from the pizza place underneath the pink (which was less than half the price of pinks prices). There were 16 of us and they did incredibly well with bringing everything out at once. Our server was great too. Overall disappointed in the quality of the food and the pricing of it all. Would recommend pink for the cute pictures but sadly not the food.

The flavours of our food were great, but unfortunately when our pasta and chips arrived, it was almost cold. The pasta was also quite chewy and tasted a bit undercooked. The restaurant itself was gorgeous and very Instagram-able, but we very disappointed in the food given the price we had paid. A bit underwhelming.

The effort is nice but it didnt meet my expectations. The pictures on instagram and descriptions make it seem like theres a huge area upstairs to take photos but there really isnt. Its good for a one time visit to check out. I had the pizza, pasta and one of the salads - the food is average. Some of the employees didnt really seem enthusiastic except for one girl (sorry didnt get the name, she had blonde hair and maybe was the manager), she provided great service and is really bubbly.

Place looks amazing. If you love pink like I do, it's a paradise for the eyes. Pizza was delicious, although I was expecting it to be a lot pinker -kinda like these beetroot burger buns, those just had a vaguely pale pink dough- and the rosé I had was excellent. However, the service was shocking, although the girl that served us was very sweet when she sat us and recommended some cocktails, we had to ask for the food menu and no one came back to take our order for about 20mins. I actually had to wave for 5mins at the 4waitresses which were all standing behind the bar, busy chatting with eachother. Fair enough the place was pretty quiet but still..being a waitress myself I hate to do Th is kind of stuff and I'm pretty patient but I had to. Also a bit disappointed about the milkshake, which sounded amazing but we couldn't order as they were not serving it... felt like Maccas telling you the soft serve machine is closed. It's a shame since the milkshakes seem to be quite a big component of their menu. Lastly, thought their beer list was very short and boring, (only 3 of them, Peroni and such). I would have added a choice of pink beers, it's not hard to find as there's so many of them on the market. And who doesn't love a good beer with their pizza. In conclusion, I love the concept and will definitely be back to try the cocktails and (hopefully!) the shakes, but I'm hoping the service improves, and if I were them, I'd drop the prices a little.

I must say I like the concept of Pink. It was fun to have drinks and dine. I was expecting more after reading about this place in Broadsheet. The food was ok, my friend’s Hippy ravioli was lukewarm, my other friend’s review of her salad was she wouldn’t rate it, my other 2 friends that I shared pizzas - Chicken with Jalapeños pizza and the Mushroom pizza - was probably the highlight. The only thing working for it was they both had crunchy bases. The cocktails were weak. I just thought the price would reflect the amount of alcohol is in the drink. It seemed watered down. I honestly think it’s a great place to check out. They need to up their game on the food and drinks for me to come back every now and then.

Recently, I went to this restaurant to attend my friend's birthday party. When I arrived, the reservations had gotten mixed up, despite my friend sending an email telling them about the new reservation, since she had accidentally first booked on a Monday evening when they weren't open. After a few minutes however, the manager, oddly in all black, was able to give us a table. He was very quick, polite and helpful, and he served people with a smile. It was a good start to the restaurant. We took a long time to order due to complications around the table, but the staff there were very patient and tended to our needs quickly. My friends and I ordered our food, but the issue with it was the fact that they were incredibly overpriced for a fairly small portion. Sure, the pizzas are a lot for one person to consume so it would be perfect for sharing between two or three, but even then the quality of them weren't that impressive for their price tag. Yes, the pizza dough on the pizzas was pink, and there were cherry tomatoes rather than diced normal ones, but I would rather get a much larger pizza from a cheaper fast food place than the $21.90 spent here on the Princess, aka the Margherita option. A qualm I had as I was waiting for my food was noticing that workers from the separate eatery on the ground floor below were bringing up dishes to the counter, which the waitresses would then take and serve to the patrons. Sometimes they would use the lift behind the bar to get the food. While there was only enough space for a bar in the Pink restaurant, it's a bit disappointing that it has to source from the restaurant downstairs. I feel it would be honest if they stated that they were sourcing from there. If some of the money from the overpriced food was for taking pictures in the photo op area, it should say so. The main attraction of the restaurant was that it was "Australia's most instagrammable restaurant". Upstairs was a few "photo op" areas, which were very cute and perfect for a girls' night out. They promoted love and positivity, and it was a nice touch that the mirrors in the bathroom had writing on them which spread self-love and such. My friends and I had a lot of fun taking photos, and I hope that the restaurant switches up the items for the photo ops, so that not everybody on Instagram has the same pictures. A big disappointment was the fact that the flower wall on the main eating floor had fake flowers rather than real ones, while I can imagine it being cost-efficient to have fake ones, I imagine people expected a bit more from the flower wall. A minor but nice little end to the evening - a worker was getting fairy floss from their fairy floss machine, and he let the birthday girl make it herself. He was instructing her and it was a good end to the evening. It would be even better if the machine wasn't situated where it was, in the corner behind a table meant for a group of people where it was inconvenient to access. Should you go? Probably yes for a party, but be prepared to take a lot of money with you! It's also a good idea to wear some pink as well before taking photos! The restaurant has promise in bettering itself, but for now, it's an average restaurant with a gimmick.

Known as the most instagramable cafe? We can deffs confirm! Ambiance 5+: this cafe is super pink! Which we absolutely adore. Unlike any other dinning place in Melbourne, the pink furniture, walls and even meals offer such a fun experience. The picture walls are super pretty, with signs on the floor of where to stand for the best lighting. There is a gorgeous flower wall, pink dresser, chair and flamingo and fun signs to take photos at. Food 5: The food here is super delicious and creatively presented. For drinks we ordered a pink mocktail and mojito which were sweet and had pretty fairy floss. The white chocolate passion fruit was our favourite, so so so delicious! For mains we order the superfood salad. This dish has iconic blue sober noodles, and the accompanying vegetables offer a healthy and refreshing meal. The pizzas are all vegan based! We got the antipasto pizza, which was organically coloured with beetroot to make it pink. The pizza was so yum! The bread was thick and I could seriously not tell the cheese was vegan. The ravioli was cooked beautifully, the mushroom just melted in your mouth with every bite. The side of Polenta jenga fries seriously wont disappoint! They were well salted, crispy and just simply incredibly cooked. For dessert we managed to save a bit of room for the pink chocolate fondue, which had fresh strawberries, Oreos and other goodies. A perfect dish to end a perfect meal. Service 5: the staff here are incredibly friendly, professional and polite. They offer helpful recommendations and ensure that customers are all looked after. They clean the tables between meals and present themselves in Pink! Fun fact: the gluten free pizza is cauliflower based, and recommended as being even more tastier!

The pizza isn't like the tasty ones you get downstairs, it's a little more fancy for no reason and has limited options.
