Love their pastries. Had their Portuguese tart before, and so came back to order takeaway today. Saw that they had the chocolate donut croissant, and decided to try it. It’s quite lovely if you love chocolate, donut and croissant combination!

Good coffee! The place is cute, love the decor. Expected to get coffee in a cup but for dine in too they gave it in a takeaway cup, probably due to COVID. The service staff is so friendly.

The best Vietnamese food I have had in a long time. The vermicelli bowls are sensational and same with the kimchi burgers. This Vietnamese restaurant has got to be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Australia. It's amazing. I would give more stars if I could. The staff are super awesome too. Keep up the amazing work team.

Chicken teriyaki and soy hot chocolate.
Tasty and reasonable price.

Located at Spencer street, Southern Cross; Potto offers a variety of healthy meal options in Asian style.
The shop is more sort of assemble and serve. All the ingredients are put in the box and served. It’s subway version of Asian food.
+ it’s relatively expensive for the serving

This crispy pork salad is super delicious, the sauce and fresh veggies go so well together… oh and the pork, the skin is so crunchy and the meat so moist, I am definitely going back for more.

Ordered a crispy pork vermicelli here. The meat had a balanced ratio of fats and lean meat. The vermicelli itself was really nice and smooth, the sauce compliments the entire dish including the greens really well. The meat however was not that crisp, otherwise, this dish would really have been awesome.

Never think that just because a place is in a ‘food court’ that it’s not going to be good. Only a stones throw from Southern Cross Station and the DFO it’s close to everything. Today I had lunch at Potto which doesn’t promote itself as any particular style of Asian food and doesn’t pretend to be anything other than providing freshly prepared meals presented in a stylish and mouth-watering manner. I ordered the Signature Crispy Pork which is served with freshly cut vegetables (carrot and red cabbage) nicely pickled with interesting tangy flavour plus an onsen egg all served on a bed of white rice that is ever so slightly sweet and sticky. The pork was tasty and had the slightest bit of crackling on each piece. The blend of textures and flavours was something else. My friend had the Crispy Pork Salad served within a circle of cucumber drizzled with a light dressing and toasted sesame sauce. The salad mixture of corn, Spanish onion (not too much fortunately), cabbage, carrot and edamame beans that lay under the pork made a lovely fresh bed to complement the meat.
Order at the counter and if eating in, take your number and wait for your food. Be aware that everything is cooked fresh on site so your meal may take up to 10 minutes which really is nothing for having a meal made to order.
There are also smaller meals such as rice paper rolls and dumplings. Refreshments available.
At $15.90 and $13.90 respectively for each meal that was a generous portion size, I won’t be eating dinner tonight.
Big tick is that they use bamboo cutlery not plastic and snapped a pic of their coffee stirrers and chopsticks also from bamboo. Packaging for takeaway is in boxes not polystyrene. Well done.
Lastly the service. Found everyone to be friendly and efficient.
Notes: suitable for vegetarians and vegans and those with dietary needs, you can dine inside the open-aired cafe or out the front at a table with high stools. Definitely wheelchair friendly, kid friendly, plus high chairs available. Takeaway available. Catering possibilities - just enquire.

Got a Maccha Latte for takeaway.
A bit sweet for me, but totally good latte!

After some intense retail therapy at Spencer Outlet Centre, Janeca and I worked up a big appetite. So we visited Potto, a new addition to the centre. Potto is a fast-casual Asian restaurant, serving Japanese rice bowls alongside toasted rolls, salads & Vietnamese rice paper rolls.
We started off with their signature pork bowl. The pork had a great crunchy crackling and tender meat inside. The 63-degree egg was perfectly cooked, great to mix in with the rice. Topped off with daikon radish and salad, this bowl was a real highlight.
The chicken teriyaki salad was up next. The char-grilled chicken was nice and moist. The salad was super fresh and packed with little surprises like edamame (steamed soybeans) and pickled radish. Its toasted sesame sauce was light and refreshing too. This is a really healthy lunch option, and at $12.90, it won’t break the budget either.
Next up we tried some of the rice paper rolls. The green apple prawn was so good, with the juicy prawns a highlight. The chicken avo variety included grilled onions, which is an ingredient you don’t often see in a rice paper roll. It’s smokey flavour complemented the noodles and avo quite well.
With fast and friendly service, comfortable seating and a healthy menu, I would recommend Potto as a great choice for eating out in the city.

Be coming back when in Melbourne again. Great food and spicy chia latte are quit tasty. Thanks for a tasty breakfast 🥐

Tried this place recently and loved it. Food is really good (I had the Thai burry bowl and loved it) food came out quickly and the staff were friendly. They have plenty of dine in seating which tucked away from the busyness of the food court. I will definitely be back another lunch time.

A relatively new bowl place located in Spencer st outlet. Asian influenced, the bowls range from their signature crispy pork to seared tofu. The signature pork was ok, it was a tad dry and the pieces were cut so small that there wasn't much crispy bits to it. The braised beef bowl was very generous with the meat, a little more salad would of made it more balanced. 63° eggs are always a positive.
Overall an ok experience. Food is decent and a good option for a quick work lunch

Favorite Vietnamise restaurant so far. Love it. I regret they dont have more branches around Melb

Tried the Katsu curry with Chicken. It was delicious. The salad was fresh the curry was full of flavor. Loved it.

Really tasty simple food loved the chicken tonkatsu and Portuguese tart

I always stop by every time I’m at Spencer Outlet. Their coffees are so good, and if I’ve got time their Signature Pork Bowl is a must!! Perfect every time. Staff are always so lovely as well

This place is just okay. The food is nice, but not outstanding. The portion is very small and it was a little bit expensive. The staff is very friendly and the location is very accessible. Their chocolate croissant is really good and very tasty. I wouldn't mind grabbing some more when I come back. Other than that, it's an okay place if you just wanna quickly grab something to eat.

Had a wonderful time at this location. Didn't expect the area to have such a cute little store that focuses on healthy and hearty meals to fill me up on. Highly recommend - the staff here is super friendly. Keep up the good work team!!
C. M.
Superfriendly staff and affordable food options. Good concept of a mix of healthy salad with delicious indulgences.

Delicious Vietnamese style Rolls! I love love love the Japanese vibe that the bowls bring with onsen eggs and mixed white& red rice! Much more affordable than similar places with generous portion of meat, rice and salad! Would definitely recommend Signature Crispy Pork for first time starter!
All of the staffs are so friendly and thoughtful as well! Their matcha drinks with matcha ice cream on top is a must try along with the bowls too!
E. K. C.
Ordered a crispy pork roll, sauce was great, but the pork was just all fats and no meat in it. Price is a bit high for a product like this was expecting the crispy pork to have a ratio of fats and meat.
S. S.
Always loved their matcha drinks and seared salmon 💛

I am a regular @ Potto, the food always delicious & fresh
My favs crispy pork salad and the seared salmon salad

Fantastic food, tastes delicious 😋 service friendly and prompt, great value for 💰.

This is a very nice place, the service was quick and there's a lot of options for everyone.

I got a crispy pork roll, paid $14. Generous portion and filling. Nice crackling. But still not worth the money. You can find any vietnamese places everywhere in this city serve similar tasting and better value around $8 per roll.
And the bread they are using is extremely boring.
I wouldn’t return unless I have no other option.
M.
What an excellent place! Have been here numerous times and just can’t beat it - especially the pork belly salad.
There is nowhere in this food court as delicious or as healthy. Amazing flavours and reasonable prices.
My only wish is that there were more stores around Melbourne so I could have it more often!

Best crispy pork in Melbourne 👍🏻

Great yummy food! Excellent service!

Best food I have ever had! The service was really good, the staffs are very friendly. The crispy pork i got was so amazing, my friend got a grilled chicken salad and it was wonderful!
Very recommended

1st timer had salmon and rice bowl and beef roll. Both delish. I would say need bigger portion of salmon in that dish as it was a bit small for price. Plenty of good quality beef in roll. Both meats had a beautiful smoky flavour.
D. F.
Service very prompt and friendly. Girl serving had amazing customer service.
Menu looked delish. Ordered vermicelli crispy pork... wow! So fresh, healthy and well presented... tasted even better.
Will be a regular for sure
J. N.
Signature crispy pork bowl is delicious but the serving size is tiny!! It's not very good value at $16, I left hungry and had to buy more food
S. T.
i came here because my friend says it's nice and they didn't like. amazing food, i like the crunchy roast pork
H. F.
Ordered slow cook braised beef. Taste was good but not healthy option. Essentially buying korma! Very oily and overpowering taste. Couldnt finish dish as oil taste was too much. Very unfortunate, considering I was there late morning there was no acknowledgement from staff when I was there.

My partner and I went to Potto for an after work meal, seeking something healthy. Potto had this modern and sleek vibe to it with a chill ambience, but it was their food that really got us. My partner had their signature crispy pork, which definitely had that crunch on the outside and the bowl had the perfect balance of sweet, salty and that little zing of sour. I had the salmon sashimi salad which felt so light and filled me up without making me feel bloated. There was enough salmon in there to have some with every bite but the salad was also coated with the perfect amount of the delicious lemon dressing so I didn't feel like I was just munching on leaves. The service from Darren was also attentive and accommodating, we felt very looked after. Would definitely come back.

I’ve been to POTTO a few times now and every time it has been a great experience. Their Signature Pork Bowl is amazing and the Iced Green Tea is a perfect accompaniment. I’ll be back again, and again.
My one and only gripe tonight was the music. There’s a fine line between atmospheric music and a rave, especially when one’s trying to enjoy their meal and chat to friends. ;)
S.
Best banhmi i've tried to date. Its an upscaled hipster version, with a price to match, but they do it so WELL! The crispy bread, the crackling, omg the crackling, the pickled carrots and pate all above board. Yummo. Would have this anytime :)
S. B.
This place is fab. Efficient functioning and food is fresh. Tasty. Brilliant.
R. W.
What was in the roll was tasty but the roll itself was left to be desired, dry. Friend's iced chocolate was warm.
M. R.
Ordered the crispy pork bowl and it was so delicious!!! The price isn't too bad either :)
S.
Wait time was a bit long but the crispy pork belly and freshness of the miso soup really made up for it
J. S.
Miss this store. Great selection of food and very friendly staff. Cant wait to eat there again.
