Comments of Seasons Restaurant at Cloudehill
M.
The location itself is really nice, looking out to the pretty gardens amongst the hilly valley. The staff are so lovely and friendly with efficient service.
I got the Seasons Ploughman Platter & the Five Seasons Tea. The platter looked small but was quite filling with 2 types of cheese, variety of meats & salad. The taste was quite average though. The tea however had nice flavour to it and was quite light. I also ordered the chips with aioli which were the highlight for me. They were evenly seasoned and crispy hot perfectly pairing with the aioli dip. Someone else ordered the coffee which was quite good with a strong flavour. Not a lengthy menu but might be back for chips & the friendly service if am visiting the Cloudehill Gardens!

Lovely staff!
Food cooked with love and care..
Awesome views ..
They even have blankets for people sitting outside 😍
There is nothing wrong that you can find at this place.

A small quaint cafe located next to the garden.
We arrived at 4pm, and had coffee and cakes.
The service was great and if you are lucky you sit next to the window overlooking the garden.

Oh you absolutely need to check these guys out when they open up after Christmas. I got the beef brisket burger and let me tell you, it was worth risking my favourite white linen shirt. Fantastic!
Staff were awesome, didn't even blink when asked if they could accommodate the wife's dietary requirements (FODMAP)+Gluten intolerance. Absolutely fantastic location, delicious food. Whole package!

After visiting the garden. Stopped for lunch. It was Monday weekday but still quite lots of visitors than expected. Maybe because still school holiday.
The waitress who served the table was friendly and polite. She explained today’s special.
I had tomato& basil tart with garden salad. It’s nice flavour. But I need double size for my hungry tummy.
Desert , I had almond date chocolate cake. Top chocolate icing dominated all flavour, I couldn’t taste date, but there were lots of almond.
The view from the outdoor table was lovely, I enjoyed listening birds while having my lunch!
V. S.
Good food, great ambience. Service seemed to be a bit slow as they were busy, but I would not hesitate to return or recommend

Lovely quaint little restaurant. Quite busy, but stuff cope well. Food was great, good sized portions..I had the brisket burger and chips delicious.. The atmosphere is very noisy. The open kitchen certainly doesn't help. Hard to hear across the table

Nice venue. Very scenic. Food was nice. On the smaller side. Service was friendly. Very busy, I'd advise to book beforehand.

Beautiful setting overlooking Cloudhill Gardens. Pleasant outdoor and comfortable inside areas.
Good food and helpful staff.

Very tasty lunch in lovely surroundings. Great staff and service. A while since our last visit but still as good as ever.

Wonderful garden views from table, great food

Very friendly staff. They accepted our booking count of 16 on Australian day appreciate all the efforts by the Management. We enjoyed each and every bit of the visit to Seasons. I personally liked the pork belly was made tendor and juicy didn't feel it slide through.
Great Quality.

We had a delightful lunch there.
Excellent food and service with a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Stopped over for lunch and ordered their almond date chocolate cake, and fish of the day (pan-fried swordfish) the cake was delicious! A little too sweet for me but it was overall okay. The fish was firm and tasty, and it came served with a mixture of chopped coriander, pine nuts, quinoa, cranberries, onions and some other grains. That was deliciously refreshing too. If I could, I’d surely return for the same food ◡̈ Staff service was average only though.

Nice atmosphere, great views, friendly staff, nice menu choices Fire brunch or lunch, cakes, coffee and other drinks. Will go back again.

One of my favourite places to visit and eat, yummy beautiful food ,helpful friendly staff and the most beautiful view you could ever imagine ❤️

Really nice place to have lunch. The restaurant is nestled in amongst the upper end of the Cloudhill Gardens with stunning picture frame windows looking out over the tree tops (be safe and book early to get a seat next to the windows on busy weekends). My wife and I were walk ins, but were lucky enough to get a table next to a window with an hour wait (which was a perfect amount of time to wonder around the gardens and work up an appetite!
Lovely staff and incredibly accommodating. My wife appreciated the option to choose ‘entree size for some meals’. FYI the split pea soup is far better than anyone would expect!
Will return.

We always feel so welcome and pleased there
The food is good and the view to their beautiful garden is amazing
Always nice and yum breakfast, you don’t have too much option, but what they offer is really great
E. M.
Delicious food in a beautiful garden setting. Would definitely come back for another bite to eat.
E. D.
Absolutely delicious food and amazing service if you're dining, or during lockdowns, taking away. Rhonda and the team go above and beyond!
Thanks for whipping up a vegan surprise for me today Rhonda it was amazing!! By far the tastiest tofu baguette I've ever eaten, with all the top notch toppings! Yum!
M. L.
Absolutely LOVED the pork belly dish, 4/5 of us on the table ended up ordering it, and the odd one out assured me that her chicken pot pie hit the spot too!
For dessert I recommend the orange-mandarin cake as it was so flavourful and the 'm' word.
The owner also came by to make sure everything was ok, which was nice and all the staff we had were friendly and polite. I recommend booking in advance for inside at this time of year as it is pretty chilly in Cloudehill.
P. S.
Have been here many times for many years and never been disappointed. Everything is always great and great views too. The drinks menu is excellent the deserts are lovely and it is all very fresh and cooked to perfection. If you're lucky you might get in without a booking, but better to book.
J. K.
What can you say but WOW ,food is soooo tasty yum-yum.
Service was impeçcable , plus manicured gardens well worth a visit , fine dining to burgers
A. A.
Great & cosy cafe, surrounded by beautiful plant nursery. Coffee & cakes are good. Staff were lovely and friendly. Will be back soon.

Amazing scenery and gorgeous atmosphere. The puttanesca beans was nothing short of delightful, the pickled zucchini and croissant is a must have for new comers to this restaurant. What an absolute treat for lunch or dinner.
e. g.
The service here was lovely, even though they were also hosting a wedding (inside).
We were offered blankets outside, and both the food and the coffee were excellent.
If you are up visiting the garden, definitely stop in for a coffee at least.
D. H.
A most enjoyable lunch of fresh seasonal produce. A mouthwatering display of freshly made scones and deserts. Plenty of patrons, table service but wait time was at a minimum. Delightful, helpful staff. A great way to spend a sunny afternoon.
T. M.
Tranquil place for afternoon tea
C. M.
Excellent meals; cosy, warm environment with excellent service. Spectacular views.
M. R.
Visiting on a Wednesday. At the Cafe, ordered the ‘special’ Sword Fish with salad. The fish was a very small portion- slightly dense and a bit over cooked which made it harder to cut. For this meal plus a ‘Soy hot chocolate’ - $37.50 is quite ‘up there’ re price. For a Guy, you would definitely go hungry re the portion amount. Would visit again but do the breakfast Menu fir a more substantial
Meal.

If you’ll have some tea, I recommend Seasons Select Tea!
☕️(personally Without Milk)
Goes really well with Lemon Curd Tart or Orange & Mandarin Cake.💕

I recently held my '70th B'day ' Afternoon Tea, on the deck at Seasons. I held my 60th there so I was really looking forward to another friendly, outdoor experience with delicious but simple food. We had tiered chatter platters, bread baskets, sausage rolls and coffee hazelnut cake. The cake was perfect because it was light yet decadent and, most importantly, not too sweet. Seasons, once again, catered perfectly to the brief. My guests and I had a lovely afternoon in the charming atmosphere that is 'Seasons'. 'Hats off' to Rhonda and her staff.
I can't wait to visit again, very soon! 😍
T. H.
Never been here before and the gardens were so beautiful to behold and set the scene for lunch with my wife Elizabeth.
I ordered the lamb gnocchi and my wife ordered the Pear quiche with rocket salad.
The food was delicious but for $25 for the lamb gnocchi I couldn’t believe the not even entree sized spoon of gnocchi with a slice of bread (no butter) to try to fill the plate up.
The Chef is a large man and I can’t believe he could serve this tiny amount of food to people and not have a guilty conscience. Just put a genuine serve of food on the plate and customers will keep flocking back here time and again. It’s called value for money paid!
The young lady serving staff was excellent and courteous.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch on an outside table . Food and staff were lovely so was the walk around cloudehill.

Visited Seasons a few times. This time a bit of disappointed. The fish of the day (king salmon). The skin was tough, and over cooked. The pork belly also has tough skin and the veg. Is not much tastes. The worse part is the waiter serving in a long face. try to catch his eyes for 10 mins just to get a coffee, no luck. Finally the beautiful young girl came for rescue, she have a sincere smile when serving, that is I rate a 3 not 2
C. O.
Beautifully located, great service and best of all knowledgeable in altering the menu around food allergies. And you can visit the nursery & garden shop co-located with this homely venue.
L.
The service is pretty quick and the coffee is good. The location and service are very nice.
The meal I've ordered was delicious but overpriced and the amount is really very very tiny for an adult... I have never left a restaurant hungry before... Very strange.
M. A.
I love going here, pleasant staff, really good food, sitting by the window looking over the gardens is very calming and peaceful, in fact a very good experience all round. We have a friend from Singapore whom we took to Seasons last year and he is coming again this year and has asked to be taken back. We replied we would love to!
T.
Wonderful waitress and much appreciation to her and the kitchen staff for helping accommodate to my allergies and suggesting alternatives to what I was initially looking at. Lovely food, nice atmosphere. Thank you
K. S.
Hands down, the Best food in town. The Staff are great and the Coffee hits the spot nicely. Menu has something for everyone, and is always made with quality produce. We keep coming back.
R. M.
Had a birthday brunch here and we loved it. Generous servings, great quality food, yummy home made bread and perfect bacon. Beautiful view out over the gardens too.
D. W.
It's always reliable at Cloudehill. It attracts a more mature clientele, but the food is delicious, the surroundings are delightful and you can visit the gardens and the nursery after your meal. A nice local venue.
S. R.
I ate the potato leek and pear soup with garlic bread, beautiful. Joanne had the vegetable tart with a lovely salad . We finished with cake an coffee before walking in the lovely gardens.
S. B.
Very pleasant place for lunch on the balcony overlooking the gardens. Food was delicious and staff very friendly.
S. L.
Cosy, delicious food, great view

Been to "Seasons" several times; am a "local". Excellent food, excellent table service, down to Earth 110% management!!! Seasons is a wise, safe, reliable, dependable choice of eatery. Don't go anywhere else! :)

I have a very confused feeling from this restaurant on my visit today.......We were told they had no croissants anymore....and there were quite a few on the glass display right next to us....I was too confused to ask if there was something wrong with them...or were they being reserved for special costumers?
The cake portion was generous...with nice cream and fruit..but the cake tasted old....the coffee was great....I will go back again just to make sure, as the previous time I was there I had great food as well as great service
A. K.
A favourite nourishment spot when exploring the beautiful Dandenong Ranges with friends and visitors. Delicious home style menu with flair. You can go for just coffee and cake,
morning or afternoon tea or lunch. It sits in the entry to the fabulous Cloudhill Gardens and Diggers Heirloom nursery and shop.
S. B.
Lovely view of the garden. Nice atmosphere. Food was very tasty and well presented. Staff were polite and helpful.
P. O.
I like this place a lot. It’s nice to sit and have a nice meal and enjoy the views, but you’ll need to book for a seat at the windows. The veranda is great too.
L. G.
We had a lovely Mother's Day lunch here today overlooking the glorious autumn toned garden. Food and service excellent as always.
X. M.
Very tasty dishes with reasonable price. Best pie that I strongly recommended. Pan-fried salmon with mango salad is a must try too
