Great place of a variety of smoked meat. Prices are reasonable and the staff were friendly, this place can fill up on a Friday Saturday Sunday so best to book ahead.

The wife and I ordered the 'feed me heaps' which gave us the choice 3 different meats out of about 8 and 5 sides out of about 8 as well. Wouldn't have mattered what we picked, the food was the best we've had in a long time. Table service was A1 as well. Will definitely be back.

I live locally and eat here all the time. The new menu revealed a new gem that was absolutely excellent. Full of flavour and smokey goodness. The SmokeHouse Salad with the Smoked Duck. Generous serve of duck that meshed beautifully with the variety of veggies, greens and nuts. I asked to hold the quinoa because… quinoa. An excellent meal… as usual.

My ribs were delicious and they fell off the bone, with rustic whole potato chunky chips and homemade coleslaw. Topping off the great food was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable service. The whole team worked together and made sure I was ok. I came back here by myself after coming with a group the night before. So good, I came back! Great place in Rosedale.

End of year Christmas breakup, the meal was fabulous l had duck SPRING rolls, felt like licking the Smokey sauce, pork ribs meat fell off the bone, staff very friendly, l had a chat to the chef very engaging thank you for a pleasant lunch.

Went for a work function in a group of 14 people. Wood fired garlic pizza and ribs (very generous serving size) were excellent, topped my meal off with golden syrup dumplings that were also cooked in the wood fired oven these too were delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient. I will definitely be going back, highly recommended.

Great food, ribs were to die for, chips included with ribs were amazing as well. Buffalo wings where well cooked but little too much flour flavour and while still great they are not Buffalo wings style at all. Prices reflect food quality but it's worth to pay little extra for food this good.

Today was the second time I've visited Smokehouse 81 and again it was a great meal. Regardless of the small error that occurred (the waitress and staff were really good about it and the food was still delicious) the service, atmosphere and food were definitely 5 stars!

25 July 2020, went there with a work colleague. I'm on a Keto diet and my mate said they would change the meal however I wanted. I had gone for a run that day and opted for a burger as I didn't see the steak menu until afterwards... Anyway the burger/meal was very tasty, i actually had their cut chips as a starter. Great service, atmosphere will certainly go again. During Covid-19 they record names and phone numbers... maybe they will send us all a Christmas dinner invite LOL.
