We chose this place for our Boxing Day dinner. While the location attracted me to choose this place, I would never recommend this if you are a foodie. This is a loud noisy place perhaps good for partying but a big no for meeting people or for a relaxing dinner. The drinks were not too bad even though I had better at a cheaper price. What surprised me most is their half-cooked dishes and my experience was with calamari pasta and Margherita 🍕. The staffs were on their toes and quite charming so the 3 stars are for them.

Way too expensive for the quality of food. Pappardelle: pasta was still a bit raw and lamb was very dry, but the proportion of lamb to pasta was very good. Gnocchi: overcooked and mushy, sauce was watery, no depth to the flavour, most expensive gnocchi I’ve ever had but also the worst. Eggplant chips were great. Chocolate fondant was pretty good too.

Time after time , i come back to this restaurant. Amazing staff who greet you with a beautiful smile unlike other places I’ve been to with rude staff. Food quality 100/100 . Ambiance 1000/100 overall definitely recommend for date nights , family dinners etc. you will not be disappointed. However, I do wish they served burgers on their all day menu. 🥰

This place is amazing, the customer service is above 5 stars. There is a Anthony there, well dressed, well accommodating and provided great charisma and has great energy. We had an absolute ball for our corporate private function at Soho Melbourne. There’s an instant vibe as soon as you walk in; music pumping, bar filled with goodies that only this team could turn into absolute magic!!! Never have I had cocktails so delicious. The food is immaculately presented & so tasty. We had the terrace room which has a retractable roof, an absolute winner in this Melbourne weather. Soho Melbourne is truly one of Melbourne’s best kept secrets.

I will give 5 stars for the food and the staff, just that it’s so loud I felt I had to scream to have a conversation with my partner. However there was live music and it’s Friday (28.06.19), I guess it’s just busy. The pizza and the calzone were amazing, I’ll definitely come back to try some of the other ones. The dough was perfect and crispy and you can see the good quality of the ingredients, also good glass of red wine to top it off

What a good vibe and atmosphere around to enjoy with mates. Crispy Barramundi and Risotto are one pf my favourite with some refreshing Ale. Service is bit low as the water glasses are very old and scratched. Overall I enjoyed a lot.

Some of the best bruchetta I've ever had. Pizza was great as well and our pasta dish was bearable. Our main meal took awhile to come out but as soon as we brought it to the attention of the head waiter he sorted it our and ever gave us free drinks. Great vibes with the music and lighting. It has become a bit of a favourite for dinners and drinks. Great location. Lots to choose from on the menu. Love the cocktails. Awesome music in between usually great live music. Fun to have a dance after dinner. It’s not cheap and can be loud. Other than that mainly good. 8:15pm seating and we left at around 11pm. We must have been having fun.

I finally decided to enter Soho for dinner after avoiding it for quite sometime. I had the Tonnarelli Pescatora which was quite tasty and the seafood was seemingly fresh but the "fresh" pasta was average. The portion size was reasonable (as I'm a big eater). I also ordered the Eggplant chips which were nothing special and had the coke no sugar which i guess is premix, but it was more like water no coke. The service on the other hand was satisfactory with no shortage of waiters to tend for service. Overall it could have been much better!

Attended a work Christmas party of roughly 15 people. Fantastic venue and drinks. The food could have been better tho. (Just light snack food) But it was a busy night. Also no bar service, so we ordered with someone that we could catch walking past. Then a separate person brought the drinks to the table so no one remembered who the drinks belonged to and they just handed random drinks to people at the table which resulted in numerous drink orders being screwed up.

We went to Soho for drinks on Saturday night and wanted to give a massive thank you to our waitress Nicole! Amazing service and so friendly. Nicole was super attentive the entire night and even helped us move to an under cover table when it started drizzling outside.

We love the food, is very good quality even if I have give a4 stars this time for the ribeye that was very expensive (43$) without any side. I think need review some prices beetween dishes as doesn't mach properly quality and price. Staff is ok, we found the Colombian girl very comunicative and gentle. Service is not to slow and not to fast (I don't like fast service). When I seat for lunch or dinner I love enjoying with atmosphere, my drink and food, eat without rush, expecially on weekend. We love this place, never disappointed us.

The food was average. The staff somehow brought me an extra coffee which I did not order then they gave me free then decided to charge me for it. They corrected the bill when I checked the bill. Overall an average experience and average food. The guy that served us was very nice and sweet and helped my friend change the menu to her liking. Wouldn’t really recommend this place.

Quality of food was wonderful and well presented, but when the waiter tells you to find a seat and then you have to start looking for the menu which wasnt provided, of which we had to ask for water and if we could place an order for coffee it began to tarnish the experience. The front of house staff need to be trained in providing a better customer experience, especially considering the location.

We have just completed a 9 day holiday in Melbourne and throughout the time had a dozen dining experiences. Hands down, Soho has been the best experience. What a perfect way to end the holiday. Thank you to the staff to restore our faith in the hype of Melbourne dining. Absolutely beautifully done, from the calamari, ohhhhh, to the pork belly with the slight crackle and steak cooked as requested.

The first time I had eggs on toast with spinach and found the meal to be a little over priced for the size of the meal, same with the size of the coffee's but I had the acai bowl the second time and it was great!
