Great service and good value pub food. The owner / waitress who took our order was kind enough to make a milkshake for the kids when it wasn't on the menu. She also let them help which was fun. Overall, an awesome experience...

Guinness and service could not be faulted, even though the wrong Parma was served, beaut decor. Hits, Guinness, onion rings and beautifully cooked fresh veg. Misses steak and Guinness pie and the noise from the kids area. Love that we can take the dog to the beer garden and will definitely take the dog and eat outside next time. Some Irish music or any music would have also added to the atmosphere.

Excellent service and delicious food. We sat in the outdoor area and enjoyed a lovely sunny day at a terrific local venue. Supporting local doesn't just mean within your town. There are many venues just a short drive that would welcome your patronage and have a lot to offer. Give these consideration if you're planning an afternoon outing. You may be pleasantly surprised 🙂

This place has so much potential! Unfortunately our visit today could have been better, the waiters and waitresses are inexperienced and the table service was quite poor. Food was expensive for the quality, and drinks are pricey too. The atmosphere is lovely, although ambient music while diners eat would not go astray.

Decent food and not bad prices. The owner is very friendly and good for a chat. Would recommend the Johnny Cash Parma if you like spicy food. My best is an 8/10 if you can beat that good stuff!

Look this place used to be super average, the waitresses seem to do nothing but gossip with other staff and customers, used to take hours to get offered another beverage ect ect. But seriously. Now there is a new owner/manager, the place is phenomenal. The waitresses are very polite, the food is better than ever and the service is fantastic. Plus even better the new bloke who owns it is visibly there and involved with the place. Come back and give this place another go if you are a local and have been out off by the old duck inn ways. Highly recommended the pulled pork burger! Just heaven in a bun.

I had a standard parma with veggies, was disappointed with the meal, was looking forward to having my meal only for them to bring out two serving of veggies asparagus and a bit of carrot and the smallest parma I've ever had. Seriously nice little place I really went in expecting to give the place a 5 star review but waited so long for my meal my wife had waited a while until I said start without me then mine finally came when she was about finished then when the waiter came to take my plate we decided to give dessert a go but ended up leaving after getting bored of waiting I would come back for drinks but wouldn't bother for meals again bit of a shame.

We visited this beautiful ( not so small restaurant) well outside regular eating hours expecting the kitchen to most likely be closed. Well! Not only was the kitchen open, we were met with big friendly smiles and the service was exemplary. Oh and not to mention the food was to die for and also reasonably priced.
