We went on Sunday night for tea. I have been to the Pancake Parlour several times, but this was our first time at the Plenty Valley store. The food was just as good and classic as ever, yummo. The store was clean and presentable, and the service was friendly and not pushy. We will be back. 😋

Went as a family of 5 and was greeted after a 1 minute wait at the door (which seemed like forever) by a grumpy waitress that had no smile and asked us to wear masks when entering the restaurant. Food is always great, however, would like to be greeted with a smile. When seated, had asked for water, took about 7mins to arrive. 5 desserts (pancake) with no drinks cost $133 due to surcharge of 15% for public holiday. When a separate waiter was taking our order, took a while to take it as he was inexperienced, which is understandable as the environment now for hiring is tough. Overall, unpleasant experience, but food still great. San Churros would have been a better experience that night just for desserts, maybe time to switch to a new favourite

Yum! I went online and booked a table. I'm so glad that I did, because just after we arrived, a lot of people were queuing up and waiting for a table. I had the $5 cheese and potato pancake with salad and it was absolutely perfect for me. It was the perfect size and extremely tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took a little while to decide and the staff were happy for us to have extra time to choose and they were not pushy at all. I will definitely be going back again very soon. I was too busy enjoying my food and had eaten half of it, before I thought to take a photo.

The restaurant was really nice. The atmosphere was quite cosy. Meals were generous sizes however the prices were fairly high, I guess to cover the serving sizes. The drinks we ordered were very disappointing, both my son and I ended up leaving them. Overall I thought it was ok except we were sat right next to other patrons rather than spaced out in an otherwise empty restaurant. One thing that really bugged me, instead of the waitress offering to take our order we were asked to order thru the app or make our way to the bar. But I guess with self service checkouts taking over one store at a time it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Bright fun atmosphere, came here on a quiet morning. Ordered traditional bacon and eggs and latte. Promptly greeted at the door. I'm not a fan of the self serve, it reminds me of an RSL. Also being card or app only isn't appealing to older people or people with cash only. I ordered in person, don't like the app. The food came quickly and was hot and fresh. The latte was terrible burnt and bitter. Overall I was pleased but left feeling meh for the price I payed.

Hi Pancake Parlour, I took my 2 kids and my wife to your establishment for her birthday surprise and was NOT disappointment. Our waiter Alysha was professional, courteous and quick with our small requests for salt and pepper, extra napkins and an activity for my daughter. Even after her on-duty manager gave her the ole' stop talking prompt which was NOT warranted, she didn't miss a beat, maintaining excellent customer service which is surely lacking from the duty manager. Well done Alysha, I'll be bringing my family back for the atmosphere as well as the food =3

I tried the alice in wonderland, salted caramel, rhubarb and strawberry pancakes, all of it was great! The fudge sauce was very chocolatey. The Swiss mountain strawberry shake was nice but maybe a bit too sweet. The house made chunky wedges were a great savoury offset. Definitely order water for the table to fully enjoy this experience. Will go again 🙂

Came in, no customers due to being a slow Monday, bloke served us and was pretty cool and polite! Ordered food via app and it was flawless. Lady bought our food and drinks over and was absolutely amazing, she was extremely polite we all had a great laugh and even the kids loved it! Customer service was the best I think I've ever had! Now the food... how do I put this... perfect! Hash brown was nice and crispy outside with a perfect texture on the inside, bacon was a little crispy around edges and cooked to perfection! My Mexican chicken crepe was amazing, couldn't have gotten better!! All in all if I could leave 10 stars I would! Highly recommend.

Glad to finally get this franchise here. The premises are well laid out and the staff service levels need to improve a tad,however over time I'm sure they will as they are minor teething problems for a new store. The ordering online seems to be beyond me but will suit the more tech savvy. I prefer to pay over the counter and that wasnt a problem. The pancakes ordered seemed a little rushed and slightly bland. Not how I remembered them. Good for a quick meal.

Came in this week for Pancake Parlours $5 short stack which i was very pleased about. Was greeted and seated nicely and even surprised about the updated customer service that seems to have been worked on. The food was great, the customer service was great and the interior is also great! Has a pleasant atmosphere with outdoor heating and comfortable couches inside. Wait to be seated, look at the menu and then pay at front counter. You can choose to have food sent out separately or they will all come out at once if you don't tell them beforehand. Also, choosing where you sit is optional, provided it's not busy. A great place to chill for a coffee also. Added picture of their chocolate Jubilee! It is two chocolate pancakes topped with cream and a scoop of ice cream and choc chips, then drizzled with chocolate topping sauce, with fresh and delicious strawberries surrounding it.

Received a wonderfully friendly greeting at the door on a very busy Friday night, followed by a welcoming chat with the waitress, ordered our meal with a cheery fellow at the counter and had a very observant and busy manager make sure my pregnant wife and I were fine, offered us water etc etc as he cleared tables. I miss the good old days at Northlands Pancake Parlour because the clientele were rough as guts and the staff made a mean and extra boozy long island ice tea for those special nights out with the Mrs. This restaurant requires you to line up and place your own order and with my chronic incontinence issues and artificial pelvis this makes life a bit tricky. Also it might be inflation but the pension doesn't buy as many pancakes as it once did so I have to limit the amount of visits per week here now, as much as I crave pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I have recently had a car accident as a result of a road rage incident on Childs Road so I cannot have pancakes for a few weeks because they do not deliver to where I live so I am currently experiencing withdrawals, much like the time I gave up the grog for a week. Beautiful swiss mountain malts at this location and lovely staff. MMMMM Lovely

First time at this parlour ! The decor is very different as you'd expect from a new venue, it's also been some years since I've been too one . My daughter wanted to go here for lunch and for the most part was enjoyable , just be wary of the online app as we ordered on that and then was charged again in store . The berry & chocolate pancake was a little light on with ingredients like they had run out and didn't let me know. It was a stark difference to what I'm used to at other pancake parlours where I normally get what the picture looks like and that's what makes pancake parlour so great! Could hear the head waiter or manager being rude to staff.

Set in the new food precinct at the Plenty Valley Westfield, this restaurant offers what you've come to expect from the 'Pancake Parlour' chain. Is it 'lovely' as they state on their branding? Well, not quite, but it is pretty good. No issues with food or service at all, but I do feel that they charge more than they should for what the serve so no points on value.

It was a Wednesday night and the place was fully packed. Ordered 5 pancakes and a a coffee, it took about 45 minutes to get the food on table. Food and experience was good but wait time is not acceptable. For 5 pancakes we had to wait almost an hour.

First time here. Wasnt overly impressed. We were greated and seated after a minute, however I think the expectation is to seat yourself. No table service, it was explained we order at the counter or through the app. Pancakes were ok, but I was expecting something better. One thing that annoyed me is they have an add-on for 'pure organic maple syrup' for an extra fee. I guess this means the free stuff available on the table in a jug is not real maple syrup. This is supposed to be gourmet pancakes yet they provide fake maple syrup/'maple flavoured syrup'. For the price, I would expect table service and only quality ingredients. Unfortunately this isn't the case.

Very excite to have a Pancake Parlour so close to home. Service was very friendly very busy due to just opening so expected to be a little slow. Food was great only down side was the sizes were a lot smaller than the servings at Northland and Doncaster. Side salad was cut different which made it a little boring and not as enjoyable as it was mainly lettuce and the delux fry’s serving was a lot smaller yet same price as the other stores. I hope all this get brought to the same standard that we are use to as I will be happy to return and pay the money if this is the case.

We were there 1st time 2 weeks ago for coffees and pancakes as desserts. Jyst as we got our orders at the table the fire alarm goes off and managed 1 sip of our 3 coffees n none of our desserts before being told to leave. We understand firealarm n safety but at no time at all was told by manager and staff please come back of heres a note to say you were asked to leave and come back for a refund or a replacement of your meals and coffees. When asked if they knew how long since the smoke was detected in a nearby restaurant ..was told "not tonight" We left including my 2 grandchildren 4 and 7years old and 87year old mum. Later while driving we see some staff going home and some walking back into restaurant. Not v good customer service. Wont be back. Unhappy customer.

Dined at Pancake Parlour, Plenty Valley on Sunday 29 April. Excellent service and food. People leaving one star here, but then saying the "food was great" are being unfair and just whinging and moaning - we are a spoiled lot with our first world concerns. As tour experience, we walked up to the counter (like at any hotel pub) placed our order and the food arrived quickly and as ordered. People in the booth next to us ordered via the phone app and had no problems at all, their food arrived quickly and as ordered - all good. Great to have a Pancake Parlour in the neighbourhood. If you can do better, stay home and make your own - but be fair when judging your own handy work. ____________________________________________________________________ AS TO THIS POST BELOW, First learn to spell, second, you don't need to use caps like your shouting. Goodness, used a little bit of data to download app, oh my. Pathetic is right, but it is not Pancake Parlour that is pathetic.
