Went for birthday dinner. Very accommodating with us as we were 30min + early for our table booking. Food was very delicious and hot. Steak cooked well. Red wine sauce was yummy if a little sweet. Partners steak was cooked well done but calamari was still slightly cold in places but still edible. Little bit pricey but justified. Will be returning.
Sweet potato fries were gold star definitely my favourite.

Named for one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the world. This place offers food that is a world away from what is on offer in Perth.
Perth food consists of Asian (of some form)/Indian/ Pub Grub/ Fast Food.
Angel Falls offers Venezuelan food, well prepared, beautifully presented and cooked perfectly.
There are so many unique offerings on the menu; yucca chips, plantains (ripe or green), a drink made from sugar cane juice and so many others.
If you are at all interested in Venezuelan rum, this is one of two places in Perth that serve it. In the market for something better? Try this place!!!!!

Had my father's Day dinner at this place, very nice little place hidden in Shafto Lane. Customer service was A+! Food was great as well and surprisingly came out fast as well considering it was a busy night. We almost ordered a shared meal but wasn't sure how big the portion was so decided to get our own dishes so we can try what Venezuelan dishes taste like. Our dishes was tasty and unique. Steak was a bit tough but I'm guessing it's how it should be in their Venezuelan way, still tasted good. Has that grilled and marinated flavour to it. Overall, we will be back to try their share plate. 💪

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. True Venezuelan food. Wide choices on menu. Vegetarian options available. Prices reflects what you get in quality. Advise to book in advance. Very busy during lunch on weekdays.

Food standard is near perfection. The steaks were tasty, tender and perfectly cooked medium rare. The veggies were delicious. Service is exceptional and pricing is very reasonable for this quality experience me and my enjoyed!

Had a fantastic 'date night' with the wifey at this truly unique little restaurant. I can't remember or pronounce the names of the stuff we had - but it was damn good!
FOOD: The flavor was awesome. The meat was tender and delicious. The fusion of flavors was really unique. The portion sizes were perfect. We left the restaurant satisfied, but not bloated.
AMBIENCE: It felt really authentic South American. Even the music selection contributed to the vibe. The staff were also South American which added to the flair of the place.
SERVICE: Really good service. The servers were really friendly, and super knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu. Our server really took time to explain the difference between all the options.
PRICE: Not cheap. But also not too expensive. The food items are reasonably priced. They offer a lot of cocktails - and they ARE really expensive! But as long as you don't go overboard on the alcohol, the night shouldn't set you back an arm and a leg.
AVAILABILITY: I suggest you book ahead of time, because the place was full on Friday night. There is a steep online booking fee (which you will lose if you don't rock up or cancel), but who would want to cancel? ... This little place is awesome!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was fantastic. We got the Meru sharing platter. Literally every bite was a delight. Yes it's a little pricy, but worth every dollar!

Great place for a great dinner! We were not sure what to order (as everything looks delicious) so we decided to take a bit of everything. You will not be disappointed! Taste, presentation and quantities are good. The terrace, close to the fountain makes it even more pleasant. I've missed some beer from the tap, but the food is already good so no complaints.
Croquetas de maiz , super good ;) !
We will be back.

Had a lovely dinner here with my daughter. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly. I'll definitely be returning and trying some other dishes

Friendly staff, yummy food.
Ordered:
🥗 Starters 🥗
✓ Empanadas (3) - $20
⭐ Croquetas de Maíz (4) - $19
(enjoyed the most, had lots of flavour).
🍝 Main 🍝
✓ Araguaney Board - $90 + al ajillo prawns - $17
For 2 people, definitely enough.
Choose meat & flavour with sauces.
🍹Drinks🍹
⭐ Pina colada - $18
(My fav drink and this one was really nice)
✓ Fruity gin and tonic - $20
➖ Only thing I would say was that the food wasn't as hot as I'd like it.

I personally enjoyed the steaks here. Order two rump cap cooked in medium rare and rare, and they were done nicely.
I don’t agree that this should be compared to Lapa as it’s a totally different setup and is a buffet. I definitely will try the other cuts again

Amazing food, positive casual atmosphere and very friendly and warm staff. With the fast service and delicious cocktails I'll be coming back. Worth taking the time to call and book in advance.

Great food: good portions, flavourful and bright. Excellent staff: kitchen to front of house. Relaxed vibe and great location. 100% Gluten Free was a big bonus for my dinner companion. Thanks to the chef who worked around my friend's garlic intolerance. I will be back with more friends in the future!

A beautifully decorated restaurant located in the heart of Perth CBD. We are very impressed with their steak, beautifully cook and so tender, the cost of food is reasonable and the music in the background creates a lively atmosphere. Customer service is at its best. I can highly recommend this steakhouse to anyone and we are definitely coming back. Thank you Angel Falls Grill for your amazing hospitality, you deserve a 5 star 🌟 from us.

We enjoyed our dinning experience thoroughly. The food was quality and the Venezuelan flavours were amazing. As well the service was excellent. Thanks to all the staff and Chef's.

Really enjoyed the food here but was quite expensive! Wasn’t overly hungry so ate two starters with a side of sweet potato fries. Had three drinks. Good service
C. B.
Thee food was exquisite, the staff were incredibly attentive, and the price was good. We could not stop talking about it all weekend, and recommended it to anyone who would listen. We will 100% be back there soon!

Went for Sunday lunch and it was really nice. I had a beef starter then create your own plate as a main. It was all delicious and will definitely return to try more of the menu. Only criticism would be that the chips were over salted. That's a personal thing as I prefer to put my own on for health reasons.
Looking forward to coming back.

Great food, love that all the food was Gluten Free. Big selection of cocktails. Service was very, very good. We dont hold back on feedback, because we want to see businesses continue, but this place was brilliant. You can choose to sit inside or outside, great atmosphere out into the lane, but if the night is cooler, request inside.

We were introduced to this restaurant on a walk, eat, drink tour. We were so impressed with the food on offer we came back with our family for Fathers Day. We were very impressed with the service, quality and quantity of food. Each family member had something different and it was all tasty. Venezuelan food is not traditionally spicy like Mexican can be, they don't use a lot of chillies, but they did accommodate our youngest son who wanted a bit more kick to his meal. If you want something different to the run of the mill food offerings, try this place.

Food was delicious. Loved that there was a whole gluten free menu but it was a little on the pricey side and there was no kids menu. Would have been great to have a kids meal with empanadas and rice or plantain chips or something.

Small place with a nice atmosphere. The meat is perfectly cooked (some of the best steak, pork and chicken I’ve ever had). The Mexican lager is nice. Service is impeccable. Only downside is the price. If you want a great meat treat I’d highly recommend it

Went for son's birthday dinner. Even though the food was delicious and the girls who served us were great but felt rushed by the manager. In a hurry to close. Were refused another round of drinks after eight saying that the kitchen was closed. Had mentioned in our booking that it was a birthday dinner, nothing done to make the birthday boy feel special. Even the cake we took in was brought out in the box that we took it in. Would have expected it to come in a plate atleast even if no candle. Had to ask for plates and cutlery too.
Dear owner, I have read your response. Your team has my contact details and even after three weeks I have not been contacted by anyone. Sorry but just responding to my post on Google review only sounds like lip service to me.

The food was great. We chose one of their main speciality dish cachacas. They were amazing. The portions are very large. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Food is amazing as always! Thanks Chef!
Unfortunately the service is just ok. Maybe it’s Friday night and too busy. We ordered tap water but got sparking water, we tried to get it corrected but got ignored. Sit outside next to the pub with people smoking and shouting is not a nice experience.

i got myself a mix grill platter for lunch and it didnt disappoint. the chicken was tender and juicy, black bean rice was flavourful. i myself love deep fried stuff so that sweet potato croquettes was a delight for me in between savoury bites. just that the steak was slightly over done as i asked for medium rare. overall its a good meal.

My husband and I recently had lunch at Angel Falls after winning a competition. What a delightful experience this was - food was so tasty and fresh and service was impeccable. Would highly recommend this place! Thank you for the hospitality :)

I love the food at this place. As a Venezuelan I can say it's very close to what we get back home. I also like the atmosphere and always enjoy my time here.
The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are good. Some of the staff members are rude though. Alcoholic drinks are served at this place

Really huge food portion and was delicious. The calamares rebozado was technically a huge bowl of calamari. Also ordered Tepuy degustation, the black pudding rice was my favourite but I don't think the price was worth it. The green aioli sauce was addictive. Booked a table of 4 but tables were really small so had to change to a bar table since we ordered a couple of entrees. Only had one girl on floor so service efficiency would need improvements as other staff were behind the bar talking. It was nice that the girl on floor remembered our take away and ran to give it to us. Side note, the url link on Google maps for the menu does not work.

There was a group of 8 of us dining before the opera at His Maj. We all ordered different meals. Everyone LOVED their meal. It was tasty and well presented. The staff was lovely and attentive. The only complaint we all had was the music was too loud. We were there at a busy period and the restaurant was full, the loud music made it hard to have a conversation. This will not put us off going there again, however, we all said that we would ask for the music to be turned down if we found the same issue again. Definitely recommend. Gracias!

Staff were super friendly and service was fast. We didn't book so were seated under the verandah. Which is actually quite nice and perfect for a dinner date. For entre We had the corn croquette and they are about 50cent size. They taste so delicious oh My goodness!!! I wish We ordered more haha. I loved the Angel falls cachapa. Had a really balanced flavour and the portion was perfect for a petite girl like me! My partner had Mar Y Tierra, it was delicious and quite generous with its portions. We're definitely coming back to try the share platters and other dishes. 😍

Will definitely be back.

Very delicious dinner :) cool vibes, the owner was very nice knew her from a few years ago during Subiaco Station Street Markets, very proud she's come a long way since those days.

Lived this place. Been twice - two days in a row. First time for a work lunch on a Friday (gets pretty busy) and just had to show it to my wife the next day, so we came again for dinner. A very cosy place, super friendly staff and the cachapas to die for. Angel falls cachapa with steak was our favourite. Will be back

My wife and I were told about the restaurant from a friend. My wife is a highly sensitive celiac and has trouble with most restaurants that say they are GF and celiac friendly. She still had issues with the food but not as bad as usual so that was a win for us! The food was soooooo good! First time eating Venezuelan food and I am now on a mission to cook it myself! The staff were lovely and helpful and on a busy Friday night the service was excellent! Well done to all the employees for making our night out an enjoyable one.
Side note…Not a cheap meal but you pay for quality!

Nice Venezuelan restaurant located down town Perth, my first visit here and I ordered arepas, I found the arepas a little bit salty but the chicken and beef were good; I had a “papelon con limón” drink but didn’t taste good I think it was more lemon than “panela”, in general the attention and atmosphere are good.

Good joint, loved the food. But felt like we were being rushed the entire time. To order and to leave coz the team was constantly lingering on the floor and clearing up anything finished as soon as it's finished while still dinning. Would have preferred them to slow down and let people enjoy their meals or drinks and socialising without them popping in every few minutes.
M. C.
Loved the variety. Such a unique menu. Great service too

First time in trying Venezuelan food, and it won’t be the last. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and attentive. Great place to eat!

Two of us booked in for a pre-theatre meal having seen how convenient the venue is, and also previous glowing reviews. We just had 4 different starters between us and a couple of glasses of lovely wine. The food was delicious and the chef very accomodating for specific vegetarian requests; friendly excellent service all round. Definitely recommend the Angel Falls Grill and I would go again!👍😁

Very good food and friendly staff.
Recommend the steak, however other meats and entrees were also good.
There is a well stocked bar and a good variety of drink options
Recomend trying this place and will probably be back when next in perth.

My favourite restaurant in the city. Especially for those with a gluten allergy or coeliac disease, entire menu is naturally gf so there is 0 worry of cross contamination. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone, especially when gluten restricts your life.

I can't even find the words to describe how tasty the food was here. It felt very genuine venezuelan food, full of South American flavor! We shared a platter for two with empanadas, cachapas, arepas, skewers and other heavenly bites and was plenty!
G. H.
Fun and tasty option in the CBD - Venezuelan is not something you'd get every day.
Many dishes are wrapped inside a kind of thin omelette. Good vegetarian options.
Indoor and outdoor seating, some on high tables, which adds to the casual atmosohere. Can get a bit chilly in winter, even inside.
One thing that escapes me is why they refuse to let a single customer sit on a high table when it's 14:30 and the restaurant is completely empty. To add insult to injury, the high tables are the same size as a table for two, meaning they're actually too small for four people in the first place. Lost a star here.

Not worth the money. Much better off going to meat and wine co (or Lapa) for the price. Food was alright, service alright. For $150 for 2 I'd expect more.
