So I was at the restaurant for a function. Food was good overall, I wouldn't say that it was extraordinary but it was decent. I don't know how much each meal costs, so I won't be able to give an opinion whether it's good value for what you pay for.

Most enjoyable night. Food was delicious and a large choice of dishes. The staff were fantastic and always quick to help out. Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

December 2018: we enjoyed a family festive celebration with service that was patient and professional - thanks! Wheelchair accessible and our special needs accommodated with minimum fuss and maximum hospitality 👍🏼and the food was delicious.

We had the buffet dinner. Started with oysters, crab and prawns - all very good. Then moved on to roast pork with super crisp crackling, roast potatoes and various vegetables. My friend had a selection of desserts which she enjoyed. We washed the meal down with an excellent bottle of red. Service was efficient and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We went here for our Christmas lunch for work and it was wonderful. It was actually surprisingly quiet when we were there despite being do close to Christmas. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient. An amazing range of desserts and lots of selection of hot and cold food, salads, seafood and plenty of vegetable options.

I celebrated my Birthday there in late July. Service was 5-star, staff were all very nice and accommodating. Great choice of food and deserts. Special thanks to a chef on a seafood & salad section. As I am pregnant she was very caring and helped me to choose safe and well-cooked seafood and explained what else in the restaurant was safe to eat for pregnant. Top service! Looking forward to be back!

All on the table enjoyed their meals. My Pizza was very nice. Staff were attentive & friendly, But need training on how to serve meals/drink came in from left to right. Meals took a bit long to arrive then we expected considering how many people were there at the time once order was placed. It is acceptable for mobility impaired colon but not from the street you've got to drive up the driveway be dropped off and then the person has to park. Parking is available on site at cost Street parking is available a typical for the city you have to pay depending on the time of the day.

Friday lunch. Didn’t know what to expect but so happy with the service, food and surroundings. My husband and I felt like we were in a private dining room and we could converse without yelling. The entire buffet was made with love and so tasty. It’s not like other buffet restaurants where everything tastes the same. The pork belly and beef steaks were highlights. Really fantastic food for a buffet. Unfortunately the service was quite lacking with very few staff on roster. For some reason they insisted on sitting us practically on top of another couple even when half the place was empty. Difficult even to get water and took ages to take a drinks order. Roast beef was amazing as well as the deserts area. Would get five stars if they improve service

We had breakfast here. The food was good, with an impressive selection catering for all types - even a selection of Chinese dishes for people who like to eat dinner for breakfast. The omelette was excellent, and cooked in front of you to order. The garlic butter on the mushrooms was splendid. All that said, we had the full breakfast included with our package. There is no way on earth that I'd say breakfast was worth $50. Even factoring in the "hotel tax", the price is twice what it was worth. So, they lose a star for the price.

Excellent buffet Easter lunch today. Food was great, service attentive, professional and all wait staff courteous. All food stations were fresh, constantly replenished and plentiful staff on the floor and cooking. Excellent value.

Love having breakfast here every time we stay at this hotel. Service is good, food is plentiful & hot stuff is cooked to order. Vast variety food all nicely laid out so you definitely won't go hungry. They even have soy milk for non dairy diets. 🤗

Went back after a few years. The buffet spread wasn't all that, guess I'm comparing it to other newer restaurants that offer a bigger and better spread at about the same rate. Would I be back? Not sure but definitely not soon

Great place extremely good value for what you get had the buffet on a Friday was excellent plenty of everything and they kept replenishing the dishes , a 100 % better than the other hotel up the road ( pan pacific) never replaced empty dishes and ran out of several dishes, Would highly recommend the Hyatt and the friendly staff

Expensive for what you can get. Recommend oysters, prawns, fruit, roast meat. A bit salty for my liking, and the water is a bit cold making it harder to drink n digest.

Could not fault a thing the food variety was fabulous we stayed there for two nights and both nights we ate at the same restaurant, the range was so huge we would go back because there will be something to please all, from antipasto's through to dessert, recommend booking well in advance very busy both nights..Staff were very friendly and polite, top spot.

It was quite disappointing our visit to the Hyatt Cafe Saturday evening,it was my daughter, s Birthday celebration, & we were promised attention to her,service was poor ,I had to mention to the waitress, that were gentlemen without drinking glasses.I have been visiting the Cafe for many years,but have never experienced such bad sevice.Also I brought new patrons, singing your praising,so it was a bit embrassing.Hopefully you improve your service.

But there were no oysters in September;; The food seems to change depending on the date and time, but every two visits it was okay! It's the best buffet in Perth for the price! Desserts are also recommended. Originally, buffet desserts are always low quality, but this place was fine My second time visiting this place and it gets really better. I visited a few buffet in Perth and this is the second time i satisfied so far( the one is Epicurean in crown perth). Like the seafood section( oyster, smoked salmon, cooked prawn, scallop,,) and meat bbq area. The meat was not chewy or even greasy but softy and favorable! The service was great and u should try there incredible dessert!! I didnt like the dessert in buffet usually but the quality of the dessert is better than fancy bakery one.
