H. I.Chef Caleb what a wonderful down to earth and humble Chef who is on top of his game in Perth. Won best Italian restaurant and best Chef 2021 awards. Got a treat and managed to experience his hospitality and food.
Got to say the food was pretty good with great service. Who said Subiaco is dead!! It is going to revive itself and be what it was used to be, a Mecca for good food!!
T. O.Spectacular food, polished and kind service, chef even comes out to have a chat to you. Caleb's merlot pick was very memorable too. So much attention to detail to both the restaurant and each dish - textures, temperature, flavors and presentation. We will be back for the rave-worthy burrata (with special request for additional bread to go with it haha). Will definitely consider cooking classes on Tuesdays too! The fine dining Groupon deal is definitely worth a try. Highly recommended. Thankyou for making our special occasion special.
A. R.My new favourite restaurant !! Dined here last night with my girls, and was so impressed returned tonight with my love prior to watching The Addams Family stage show @ The Regal.. The staff, chef Caleb and food were all AMAZING!! The gnocchi are perfect texture, firm yet still light.. Oh and you must try the gluten free chocolate cake served with spiced jack daniel chocolate sauce !!

R.Though the food was good what made the experience less than would be the service. We arrived at the time of our reservation and sat down immediately. We were given drink menus and then forgotten about for another 20 mins. Once we ordered our drinks and entrees, we were served the food very quickly. Then again, we were ignored for another 40mins while we waiting for the waiter to take our main course order. By the time we received the food, we decided that we wouldn’t get dessert since we would have had to wait longer.
C. M.I have been to a lot of 5 start restaurants and I am a lover of good and quality food. When I stepped into restaurant Caleb from the first hello to when we were leaving we felt welcomed and taken care of. The food is not your traditional Italian cuisine, it is had a morsel twist and the aroma from the kitchen salivate you taste buds before your plate hits the table. I love the open style kitchen which allowed us to see our meals be prepped. And to top it off we had the chef himself come say hi and find out how our night was and offer us to stay at his amazing rooftop. How many restaurant chefs and owners do that. By far the best experience and it is definitely my new favourite spot ..

Excellent cocktails and food.
The gnocchi are absolute handmade pillows from heaven, with several sauces on the Four Seasons Gnocchi dish. The gorgonzola was absolutely decadent, tomato sauce from the gods, and a creamy pumpkin sauce to round off the trio. The gnocchi itself was pesto infused adding another layer to this flavour sensation.
The staff were gorgeous, and Caleb himself is a gentleman.
First visit tonight and will definitely be back.
It's a perfect venue for a romantic rendezvous, or a fun evening with friends and family.
c. g.Another delicious meal at Caleb’s. We so enjoyed our truffle degustation here a couple of months ago, and decided it was where we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We weren’t disappointed. The burrata was still ‘tops’ and the Crustacean Pasta with champagne saffron sauce an absolute stand-out. Grazie Caleb e ci rivedremo presto!

M. D.We dined as a group of 5, and were made to feel extremely welcome as soon as we opened the door. We had selected the degustation with the wine pairings, and each course seemed to build upon the previous.
The highlight for us was the Ragu - it definitely lived up to expectations.
To have the head chef spend time in the restaurant, moving from table to table discussing his culture, food and restaurant was a wonderful touch.
We highly recommend this fine dining establishment to all who seek a fantastic culinary experience.

We came to try the vegetarian and Pescatarian Degustation menus
I can honestly say that the "Lets go to the Ocean" was totally amazing it was both beautiful visually and a delight to eat.
Each course was paired with a West Australian wine. (gotta love local)
The time allowed between courses was perfect, we felt neither rushed nor waiting
A nice touch was when Caleb came to our table to explain the desert dishes and make sure we had had a good experience.
Well worth the visit
only down point was the repetitive music which was on a constant loop and could be so much better
I. F.Caleb's has likely become our new favourite place, and we have already begun planning our first lunch visit.
The staff are extremely attentive, professional, and a pleasure to talk to. The restaurant itself is also really comfortable, and it's refreshing to not be squished into a corner shouting over other voices whilst still being busy. The food is the five stars, I don't know what to tell you, just come here, order the Duck Cognac or the Crustacean Pasta, and for the love of God order the recommended wine pairings, because Caleb knows his stuff.
We haven't had such an enjoyable dining experience in a long time.

N. F. A.Fabulous little restaurant in Subi. Been here about 3 times now. The food is beautifully presented and very flavoursome. Love the open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. They do an early bird meal (between 5-630pm) on weekdays which is very good value. Recommend!

D. A.Fabulous little locals secret. Tucked away in a little pocket, a stones throw from Subiaco station and high street, this is a wonderful, intimate little spot that offers incredible food, well priced (and great) wine and super friendly staff.
We went as a (large) family and we all loved it.

W. C.Had a wonderful dinner last night, finally being able to come from Melbourne to see my family in Perth. The Burrata was incredible, the combination of texture and taste was amazing, so light , yet full of different flavours . Had the crustacean pasta for mains, absolutely delicous, and finally the ‘take me to heaven’ dessert which definitely lived up to its name!
This restaurant is definitely up there with the best of Melbourne restaurants.

Not only were all the dishes we ordered absolutely delicious, but there was the added essence of the dishes had been prepared with love. No other word for it.
