We went at around midnight, it is a great late night food option when you feel like something greasy. They serve alcohol here too, I noticed Korean beer and Soju in the fridge behind the counter. The place itself is not very big, with maybe four long high tables with barstools to accommodate maybe 4-6 people and a couple of smaller tables for 1-2 people. The server was nice, but seemed it have a bit of trouble with English, we still ordered ok, but it took a bit longer than usual. Having said that the food came out pretty quickly and was good. We got the lemon and herb chicken - nice crispy battered chicken that's succulent inside and well seasoned. The lemon and herb part was like flakey sprinkles of sour lemony bits and dried herbs. We also got Mexicano loaded fries. You can get this as nachos too, but we opted for the chips. It was a generous portion piled up with toppings. If came with jalapenos, onions, tomatoes, and smokey cheese sauce. It really hit the spot for late night snacking. When ordering food I also ordered a drink, it wasn't until almost after the meal that I realised they didn't bring it out. When I asked at the counter the server told me it was self serve from the fridge at the front. It would have been nice if they had mentioned that at the time I ordered. Overall, a great option for late night eats.

The OG chicken burger is to die for. I simply enjoy the burgers here. The service is good, can't complain about the noise on weekend nights well that's expected from Northbridge so overall not a bad place to give a try. I also love their fries and you can just grab some soju and burger before hitting the club and get pumped up for the night. Apparently I am stuck in Northbridge right now and been reviewing all the restaurant I have been to here strange haha well hey random person reading this comment, You are amazing and I hope you know that. If you love chicken wings, beer and music then this is the place for you. Decent portions for fair prices and the chicken ive eaten here has always been good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I don't rate is their coleslaw as the dressing is too yoghurty, but this is a personal taste thing, I still eat it.

Probably one of the best chicken burgers I’ve had in perth! The spicy chicken burger was absolutely massive and so juicy, chips well seasoned and a decent portion and food arrived quickly via deliveroo. A terrific place to get some tasty friend chicken at a fairly affordable price. I suggest the popcorn chicken, it's definitely worth it! Friendliest of staff, even at the early hours of the morning. Only downside is wait times can be fairly long sometimes. Besides that, I highly recommend!

Went here for lunch today before taking the family to the museum. Saw some good reviews and decided to give it a shot. Was not disappointed. A bit pricey, but not surprising given the location. Great food and good serves. Two notable things, when they say spicey, it's actually spicey (westerners are too whimpy, KFC is NOT hot and spicy). Second the chicken is cooked extremely well and all the ingredients are top notch.

Delicious food and great selection of beers too. A great place to grab a feed while out on the Northbridge town. The later you go, the busier it gets though, but there is heaps of seating and room out the front. Give the boneless chicken a go, it's way easier to eat. My absolute favourite is the lemon pepper boneless, but everything is amazing! Give it a crack.

Efficient and very friendly staff. Very nice and unpretentious food. Huge portions at very good prices. Southern Fried Chicken was nice and crunchy and dry on the outside, but the meat was still nice and moist. Simple menu that is not so long that you are bombarded with choice. They have just stuck to a winning formula, which is a good thing. I did have the Pulled Pork and Chorizo Burger, which I found was a bit too ‘juicy’ for my liking. This tended to spoil the burger a bit. Toilets could have been a lot nicer, but they are obviously constrained by the building/area. Overall, a great little spot that delivers exactly what it promises- a good visitor experience, with some very nice food to go with it. Will be back to try some of the other food.

Pretty average to be honest. I tried a couple of different styles and they didn't really live up to expectations. I felt the flavours didn't really match the descriptions and the quality of the chicken isn't very good either. The chips on the other hand are pretty good. Also a bit overpriced.

We enter this small, yet well social distane’d restaurant. We order two southern fried chicken burgers and take our seats. My girlfriend and I are chatting and i hear a rather large commotion outside. This homeless lady is wondering pass, yelling obscenities. She stops outsides and looks at the well-mannered girl behind the counter. The girl locks eyes with her, no fear in her eyes. The lady moves closer to the entry. My girlfriend and I look at each other — the possibility of throwing hands has increased. The lady yells a question at the girl. You can hear this woman’s voice giving out at stress of the noise she is making. The girl looks puzzled, shakes her head and just walks off. People like this are the real heroes of everyday Australia. Wait...this was meant to be a review about chicken...the chicken was pretty good i guess. 5/5

I am a deep fried chicken lover and whenever I am trvaelling I am sure to look out for a good joint. Well the reviews weren't wrong in this case! The chicken was fried to perfection and the sauces are used just perfectly to compliment the chicken. The Mac & Cheese is definitely worth a shot too as a nice change up. To compliment the amazing chicken, these guys are open till 12am each night which is awesome as little is in Perth. I had to go back again and the second time was just as good. Keep it up Guys :)

Have eaten quite a few items off the menu. Popcorn chicken is a favourite with friends as a mid club snack. My fav is the lemon chicken and the hangover burger. Good valued drink buckets so it’s a great place for pre club drinks and dinner. Very small space so if you see a chance to have a table, GRAB IT. Close to many clubs.

Even if the food wasn't so amazing, I'd give this place a 5 just for the level of service alone! They were on the ball from the minute we strolled past outside, all we had to do was pause breifly for a minute beside the menu taped to the window and a guy was there, handing us our own menu and gesturing to free seating inside. The food came out quickly, was satisfyingly hot, crunchy and with a bite of chilli. Best southern fried I've eaten actually! I'd definitely eat here again, and my 10 yr old says they should specify that the bbq dishes are actually spicy ( instead of sweet/smoky), good to know if you're sensitive to chilli. Bravo Chimek!!

Love Chimek in Fremantle and Northbridge but I went to the Vic Park one recently and ordered my usual - NY Buffalo - but it just didn't taste as good? Tasted a bit off. It was more tomato/bbq flavoured than true spicy buffalo flavoured sauce that I'm used to. Other than that, portions are big and love the chips and salads that go with it. Also enjoyed the mac and cheese but just feel like it was very under seasoned and bland. Took it back home and added salt, pepper, chili flakes myself and it tasted a lot better. However - might be personal taste preferences but I'm just going to skip the one in vic park next time.
