Been wanting to try this place out for ages and finally took my wife to dine in for Valentine's Day. You will be greeted by their friendly staff member with a smile which makes you welcome. They make sure that you have been looked after as soon as you sit down. Upon looking into their menu, few selections of appetizing meals available but it seems that their drinks selection has more pages than their meal, I guess they are known for their drink selections. So we took a meal to share as our entree and mains for each of us. Didn't want to order more or any side, just afraid we would order too much as we decided to order desserts after our meal. It was a bit of a wait but it's understandable as it was a busy night. Our meal came and did not disappoint. Portions are just good enough for us. Fresh ingredients are used and tasty as well, cooked to perfection. Our dessert came with a guide from the waitress on how we should enjoy the dessert which was very helpful. Not many places do this. So I would suggest dine here if you can either have lunch or dinner and have a few drinks while you are here but please do reservation as this place does get busy. They are open for 7 days!

They are well located adjacent to the Swan River with a view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful and our meals arrived quickly after placing our order. All staff were wearing face masks and hand sanitizer was well located.

We were so lucky to be squeezed in. For lunch crowd, the place was packed. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Portions are a tad bit tiny, so order side dishes. I enjoyed my meal and would definitely come again. You may have to RSVP to avoid disappointment.

Dinner with a friend. No reservation but no big deal, tables still available. I ordered the seafood pasta, advertised as fresh pasta, and evident by the clumps of pasta when served. Scallops and prawns were delicious and dish altogether was good, but didn't feel deserved of the $40+ dollars I paid.

New Year eve dinner! The restaurant was packed ! The Wait Staff were amazing, professional, attentive, patient, friendly! The food was well presented, tasty, a bit pricey though, the French Champagne was flowing, the wine list was extensive! But the meat dish, should include veggies...Deserts were delicious!

The food, totally worth it! I had the duck, delicious and the squid tender. My fellow diner's agree we will all be back. Emma, our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was professional and courteous and she was coaching other team members on how to deliver the meals correctly. She made our night flow so beautifully. However the man at the counter when we arrived was rude and unacommodating. We brought own cake. They charge $25 to cut it which was not disclosed over the phone. We asked him to put it in the fridge, he did not and it was warm when it arrived. Thank God for Emma.

Lovely views of the Swan and city light at night, but truly not worth it. They truly taking advantage of people because of the area. I ordered seafood pasta and there was nothing fresh. It truly isn't worth the amount. I had two prawns and some few scallops. The service was truly bad. Not up to standard,waiters kept shouting out whose meal they were holding. They had no idea what they were doing. The place was.fully packed and had no room movement. It's good for wine.lovers, but if you want to have a good and.amazing meal. Go elsewhere. Not worth wasting money on.

We had our Christmas party out on the balcony. Great atmosphere. Service was impeccable, thank you Robb, Scott and Emma. I loved that they always came over and checked everyone was all good for drinks, especially me who can’t drink! They made sure I always had water or a mocktail. Food was delicious and there was plenty to go around!! Thanks guys!

Hit and miss We had the seafood and beef sharing platters. Scallops were ok but squid was lovely. Prawns had that cooked from frozen taste. Chips were actually out of this world good!! Ribs were terrible and we didn’t touch most of the meat plate Spaghetti Bolognese my daughter said was ok Dessert fantastic A mishmash of varying quality but overall not good enough to drag it out the ok section of dining. I went here in Jan 2020, first time to this place, was told very nice restaurant, five of us in our dinner party. Had a nice drink out on the deck area on dusk, was very nice. Beautiful river breeze and views were pretty good. Good selection of drinks, beers on tap, wines and spirits. Good service with drinks on deck. Headed into main restaurant area, very nice, not to crowded by having tables right up next to each other, good space around tables. Again service was nice, prompt and on point. Selection of entrees was good, the people who had the ousters said they were fair to good. Dipping bread appeared the winner in our selection of entrees. Didn't have to wait to long for mains, unfortunately one of our orders had chili in the pasta when we asked not to have. The person who was having it is mildly allergic to it, they forgot to take out. They quickly replaced his meal with no fuss. Steaks cooked perfect as to pork belly. Dessert too was very nice, sticky date pudding is in the picture, coffee was terrible... very cold. Selection of wines too was good, after several drinks, I needed to make my way to bathroom... this was a disappointment, did not reflect the class of the restaurant, not clean or tidy, bordering on a nice public toilet experience. Overall pretty good restaurant, very expensive, service was very good, staff friendly, not hurrying back, but will most likely go here again. Oh.. good parking underneath restaurant, great place to take a stroll along the river and walk off the dinner. Location is awesome, great views of the Perth city skyline lit up at night.

Beautiful venue for a spring lunch with spectacular views of Perth City. The staff were very professional and accommodating. Well presented and well spoken. The menu and specials menu were excellent. Entrees, mains and desserts were very well presented and were delicious. I would recommend this venue for a nice lunch or dinner and if you can make it a long lunch and enjoy the views on offer you will have a very enjoyable afternoon. Looking forward to returning soon.

Loved it. The food is excellent order the prawn salad. It's actually peeled prawns all packed in together. When you eat it you don't spend 20 minutes peeling the slippery suckers, end up with a pile of shells and 5 prawns eaten. I think they may have over capitalised on the alcohol selection, but then again... I don't, and would never own a restaurant, so who am I to judge a place that is obviously doing well. Only two pages of food ... perfect. I would hate to have to choice what i wanted to drink though... So much to chose from, and so little time.

Great views of the swan river and the city. Food was top quality as expected given the price you pay for it, so really happy with that. Service was average, it took a while for us to be greeted. Then once seated and served drinks, I reached for my bottle of water as was thirsty and nearly got shouted for doing that? So not keeping an eye on peoples drink levels was an issue as you couldn't "self pour" and insane others with the same treatment. Also my dish came out wrong as requested. Other than the service, great place for lunch with a large variety of wine to choose from.

I was a participant at a birthday celebration on Friday 4 June. I want to commend Cocos for great service, beautiful food and in particular, Jodie, who did a wonderful job! We arrived with a cake, which they didn't know about. Not only did they refrigerate it until needed, but cut it up and served it as dessert, with cream and strawberry sauce (I'm sure there's a fancy word for that!). The place was very busy, but the same level of service was provided throughout. Great job Cocos!!

On a very busy Saturday night, they agreed to host me at a single person's table. The ambience was good, the restaurant was packed out. The menu was fairly high end, the service was quiet good. I ordered the 550g 60d dry aged Angus rib-eye. Whilst it was very good, I didn't get the the juicy medium-rare taste that I had so craved. Accompanied was a potato creation extremely nicely done. Overall I was satisfied with restaurant manager also telling me about the difficulties of dining out as a single.

To be honest, the menu lacks imagination and is tired, time for a new chef to put some life back into it. The service was also below average, as the waiter stated, she's been on every day for the past week and is over it which is never going to provide excellent service as you'd expect! This is not a fine dining experience!!! I had always wanted to go to Coco's and watch the city light up across the river and that was a nice experience Having lived interstate and returning to Perth I found myself there to celebrate my birthday. I feel that the name alone is carrying this restaurant. After spending a lot of time deciding what to order I was told that the duck on the special menu had sold out (8pm on a Saturday night). Menu is decidedly boring and unimaginative. Wait staff were over attentive asking our group the same things multiple times. For a 5 star restaurant I would expect staff to know what plate belonged to what diner upon service. No better than cafe service "who's having the pasta". Plates were served across the table, our conversations were rudely interrupted, empty plates were collected before the whole party had finished, had to follow up on a late coffee (10mins after the others had been served). Food was mediocre, chips were cold, prawns overcooked and squid chewy. I've decided that Perth restaurants need to lift their game - overpriced, bad service, boring menus and unappetising food.

Was so busy but enjoyed the food, Garlic bread was nice and soft, for main i got pappardelle and even though it was nice I felt like it was missing something and for dessert was the Pistachio cake which was nice but in my opinion there was just a bit to much happening on the plate and certain items didn't belong there. Little mishap when receiving dessert we were given no cutlery, however the manager soon fixed it

This is a tale of the good, the bad and the ugly. Very friendly service, staff were a little bit all over the place which is understandable being first day back. Seafood tasting plate was the hero especially the scallops but probably lacked a bit of variety but very tasty although a little small for the price. $50 steak was average tasting but cooked well. Little creatures pale ale on tap was a bonus. Gin and tonic was weak and tasteless. The ambience and view is definitely worth seeing. The only real problem was the feta and beetroot salad. It was clearly a soft goats cheese which my partner couldn’t eat but when we queried the waitress said she asked the chef and he said it was definitely Feta. Hmmmm the head waitress confirmed it was goats cheese so either the chef or waitress lied to us which left a bit of a sour taste in the mouth. We also had to ask for the bill several times. Still it was great to be out again but will not be coming back to Coco’s.

Had a dinner for 2 on a busy evening. Food was excellent. Service was business like but when my order of medium rare came well done, my food was changed immediately and I think they hijacked someone's medium rare for me, within 2 minutes. We had booked a table but were put down the side passageway even tho there were lots of empty tables on the river side. We had our meal and then sat and waited and waited for some service. After 25 minutes my partner managed to attract a server who took the plates away and then never came back. After another 5 minutes we had had enough and left to pay. We complained at the pay station and received an apology and that was it. Wont be going there again especially now Rambla is open again for lunch.

1) Reservation: Booked online using fork to celebrate my anniversary. When I got there they said they didn't get my reservation. 2) We ordered the Meat Platter, Turkish Bread and Bruschetta for starters. The Bruschetta was overdone. Heavily seasoned with extra onion and cooked tomatoa.Didn't need to be like that. The meat platter and Turkish bread were very good. 3) We then got full, and went to desserts without ordereling a main. I felt like that wasn't appreciated. Also we're not drinkers (alcohol) and I feel like that was kind of expected or something. Don't really want to share why I feel that way on here, but there was some judgement. 4)Overall two dishes were good and one was sub par. I'm unsure if I'd go there again.

Coco's is my number 1 restaustant to go to when I'm in Perth. The food and overall service is second to none and I personally recommend this to any one who is looking for quality food and awesome service. Their food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and prompt that there is no place I'd rather go to than Coco's. I would happily travel 1200kms to enjoy their meals and customer service any day of the week. Wish I was a local so as I would be here every night to enjoy the overall experience they provide

No welcoming smiles when attended in person to reserve selected table by the manager and when we arrived they tried to get us to accept an inferior table that was not the one agreed upon the day before when booking. Very posh and well maintained restaurant and you would hope that the food would be up to the same standard. Although the coffee was pretty good I ordered the fruit salad for breakfast and was pretty disappointed by the meal. The waiter melon was past its best and didn’t bother to finish the meal. Would have preferred a more filling meal (perhaps fruit yogurt and granola) The bacon and eggs were really tasty and the service was very good and no problems with the waiters who were very good.

A fantastic, welcoming experience. Stopped by for coffee and cake after a disappointing evening meal elsewhere. The wait staff were fabulous - nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant and location are superb and the cherry & thyme tart was absolutely delicious.

Over rated under delivered Wanting to impress an international visitor we made dinner reservations. First drinks order was slow to arrive but they had a good selection of gin and vodka. Service was very slow and breads took more than 20 minutes to arrive. Upon delivery there was no mention of what the dips were. First failure was being informed at time of booking the linguine pasta was vegan friendly. When ordered the waitress informed us it was made with egg. Main course arrived and the meals in general were Luke warm. Side portions of mashed potatoes and baby carrots were hugely out of proportion. Potatoes to feed a family and a half dozen baby carrots. During the meal we had to top up our own wine glasses as the wait staff weren’t paying much attention to our table. Desserts were the highlight and extremely delicious. The evening was rounded off at around 9:30 by the staff scrubbing the bar floor and turning the restaurant lights up. Sure indication they wanted us to leave and we had a nice after taste of cleaning fluid as we exited the venue . Great views, average food and certainly not the expected level of service for the price.

What more can I say about one of the best restaurants in Perth! Awesome view impeccable service beautiful fresh tasty food in abundance! Lots of beautiful Western Australian produce for you to try; plenty of variety in the menu, beautifully cooked, quick service. A wonderful array of deserts as well! Well worth the visit!! I had the Dhufish special: it was delicious!! Park underneath if you can but you have to pay otherwise you'll have to park in the metered street parking - no escaping at I'm afraid got the cost is quite reasonable and you might escape it if you come at a different time.

Cannelloni is one of my favourite Italian dishes. Unfortunately (for me) it doesn't seem to be offered on the menu in many restaurants these days, n we were also unable to find it on our last 2 trips to Italy. Coco's gave me the best cannelloni in 40 years... Compliments to the chef!

I took my mum here for her birthday in April and we were stoked! We had the prawn and scallop ravioli and scallop and lemon risotto for entrees and lamb shanks and the duck for mains! The ravioli should have been slightly bigger however mum was kind enough to let me try a piece and it was the nicest piece of food i have ever eaten! The creamy lobster sauce that it comes in is stunning! Yes the prices could come down slightly however the wait staff were polite efficient and our meals were great!!! Very Happy!!!

My fiancée and I tried Coco's for dinner this Thursday night. While the interior design and service showed high level of quality, I could not say the same for the steak we tried. Both Scotch Fillet and Sirloin serves looked very good; taste however, let's say 'not bad'. Especially for the price paid, it was not worth it. I didn't enjoy the mushroom sauce that I ordered either - which is of course billed separately. The place has an extensive list of wines selection. If you become a member with a $125 annual fee, you are able to purchase most wines for half the price. Dessert was enjoyable. Reviews below by anonymous Google Users have actually spoken my mind.

My fiancée booked a table for us on Monday night as it was my birthday, he asked to have champagne bought out to the table and for a cake to be bought out. He was assured that this would be no problem. When we arrived they had completely forgotten to bring the champagne or the cake- this was really disappointing as it was a special occasion, and we felt that the customer service or perhaps communication was lacking here. There are many restaurants we've been to with a lower price point which have been much more thoughtful with service. The waiters were also very distracted by the gentleman at the table behind us, who seemed to be a local celebrity in the real estate game, and kept going to his table to have loud and extended conversations about BMWs. When we tried gaining the waiters attention they rushed off and seemed uninterested. Apart from this, the food was really excellent and we enjoyed it very much, I recommend the beef carpaccio, sirloin steak, lamb cutlets, truffle mashed potatoes and the pink diamond cocktail.
