J. W.Without a doubt the best rib eye I've ever had in Perth and I pride myself with cooking a great steak. The chef knows exactly what he's doing. Allowing the meat to speak/taste for itself. I've never felt complete by a meal. I'd marry that rib eye if I wasn't already there celebrating an anniversary with my wife. Speaking of the missus, we shared some empanadas. Hot tip, order enough so you don't have to share, they're that good! The service was fantastic, wine and cocktails come out quickly and taste amazing. Cannot wait to go back for seconds. Thanks for a great night!

It is an authentic Argentinian small resturant that cooks over coals. Typically meat served not much for the vegetarians if thats your reference. The deserts ohhh my mmmm yum!!
K. L.I went there in Father’s Day and had a beautiful brisket. Came back today with my partner and ordered the same plate, brisket. But it was really disappointed that the brisket was so dry that I thought it was beef jerky. When I told to the staff she seemed not interested in it at all. Too disappointed that we couldn’t finish our plate. Paid $100, talked to the staff who seemed no care and went away.
They contacted us and offered another change. This time the brisket was still dry but better that last time. When we told them about that they didn’t charge us. I gave 4 stars for their service and hopefully their brisket will be improved in the future.
N. F.I came here with a Groupon voucher and found it to be value for money. It's a nice venue in an old house. Our table was down the back in a bit so nice room with the other Groupon customers. Service was reasonable. The standout was the main. I had the meat lovers - the meats were delicious and well cooked. The serving was large. The table was a bit small, along with the plate we're dish was served on. Unfortunately my partner's main had a lot of fat on it that was soft/not rendered. The real let down for this place for me was the dessert - I was really looking forward to the tres leche but it was very dry and not like it should be, so I left it (even though it's one of my favourite desserts).
J. G.I had been wanting to go to this place ever since I had eaten from their stall at Twilight Hawkers in 2011. So happy they have a restaurant now! The food was absolutely amazing, staff was so lovely too. I also love that they bring to you some chimichurri in a jar free of charge so you can have as much as you want! Highly recommend this place. We will be back!
J. B.First of all, the people working the restaurant are friendly and helpful.
That being said, the best dish we've had was not meat.
We've ordered an empanada with mozzarella, the vegetarian tacos, the Meat Lover, and the Provoleta Y Pan A Chapa.
I wasn't expecting any great cuts of meat (and to be honest, I know very little of meat, so please keep me right if I'm wrong), but most of the Meat Lover felt like constant fight with the meat. It wasn't tender, and most of it was hard to chew through. My jaw was quite tired by the end.
The empanada was okay. It is simple, tastes fine, and is inexpensive.
The cheese and bread were fairly good, though don't expect anything crazy - it's just oven-baked cheese and some bread. Still, it is a good starter, at least for me.
The vegetarian tacos were the best. The veggies tasted like a ragu, and really worked well.
For me this was a miss on the meat, though.
A. T.Very cosy setting . I loved the wood burning stove, it was lovely and warm on a cold winter day. They do BYO and Dan Murphy's is a us only a few minutes walk away. The highlight were the empanadas and churros. Probably the best churros I've ever had. They were crispy and generously coated with cinnamon sugar on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside.

R. J.Hits the spot every time! The beef ribs are cooked to perfection with beautiful herbs and spices. Comes with chips and a zesty salad (although recent menu changes does not include chips anymore). The beef tacos are also a must! Very helpful and friendly staff too.

With only one waitress is hard to get a hold of her.
They accept cash although they didn't have a single note to give out change, had to go home and come back with my card so I could have my $40 change back.

Ordered the share platter among three guests and all were more than satisfied with the meal. Fair selection of wines and cocktails to accompany the grilled meats.
The restaurant has a casual vibe. Great for small groups (bookings suggested). Friendly staff and great service.

Asked the chef how should I have the rib eye, he said Medium rare. Ordered medium rare, got medium to well.
I began eating because i didn't want to complain, but then my girlfriend said, "Na let them know, when a place is about steak, they shouldn't make misteaks." (Boom,pun)
So i did, the waitress took it, then i received a very nice steak.... BUT because I'd had more than a couple of bites, as she place down, I was reprimanded for eating more than I should have.
I guess they'd rather throw it away than let someone get away with 2 steaks...($50) we spent give or take $160....

K. L.Food was good and venue is now fully licensed with overpriced alcohol. No BYO wine only with corkage charge lke some other restaurents. Credit card facility not working on the evening we were there. Very disconcerting standing there for about 10 minutes while my credit card was repeatedly swiped. We managed to come up with enough cash but left wondering if other patrons left without paying if they were relying solely on credit cards to pay for their meals.
A. D.I really liked the layout of this restaurant, and the best part of my meal were the croquettes, thick cut herbed hot chips and the chimichurri. However the main share platter's ribs were super chewy and tough, making it impossible to finish all of them which is disappointing considering they made up most of the meat. The thin beef steaks were well done, and it would've been nice if we were offered how we would've liked it cooked. Service was great and staff seemed enthused, but it seems they need better quality meat.
N. M.El Asador catered for my work xmas party last week. The food was amazing and I was very popular with my colleagues for organising. Thank you to Emily & Max for a great experience. I can not wait to come in and dine sometime soon. We had the empanadas, arepa's(soooo good), tacos, baby back ribs, lamb ribs, beef rump cap (another fave),pork shoulder platter, potato and lentil salads, a heap of chimmichurri sauce and the delicious Alfajores for dessert in a number of flavours. I missed out on the ribs they went to quickly so will try those sometime soon!

It is BYO and very conveniently located across the road from a huge Dan Murphy's.
We have been twice and both times have been very impressed with both the quality of food and the friendly staff.
There is a clean and well maintained bathroom and parking available at the rear.
We will definitely return.
E. T.Used groupon voucher for 4 people. We got empanadas 3pcs and pan a la chappa 1 for starters were served together with same choices of starters at another table that came 15 minutes after our orders placed. We had to wait almost 30minutes for starters and the main meals served in the next 15 minutes. It was Tuesday night where only 3 tables including our table.
For main meals, we ordered pollo (chicken) and cordero (lamb), they didn’t have short beef ribs that night, oh well.
Looking at the portion, it was overpriced as it’$30 for 2 small pieces of lamb. If it’s $20-23 would be more reasonable price.
Overall for taste was good, but paying in full price for those small portions I don’t think I would come back.
It’s nice place for small group of 4people. The waitstaff were friendly, even though 1 staff didn’t confirm with another staff before asking or taking order. We already placed the order and she came asking for the order. She also took the other table’s order for empanadas with beef (we were told it’s not in stock) and beef ribs. It made us wondering beef menu was in stock or not.

As for the beef ribs and the lamb ribs that we had for mains. We were impressed with the taste.
The lamb ribs are on the fatty side.
The waitress was very friendly and professional.
I will return to try their other dishes on the menu.

The food is top top from Starters to the desert and the steaks are perfectly seasoned
