Had a great lunch here the other day. Beautiful sitting out on the deck and wasn’t too hot; we also had the option of dining inside. We had seafood & soba noodle salad / sesame crusted tuna loin for entrees, and both had ocean trout for mains. All dishes were fantastic and excellent service, gardens well kept and easy to get to. Would love to come back to this place to see what it’s like in the winter and to taste everything else on the menu. Highly recommend!

We visited flutes recently for my special birthday celebration. A lot of planning ahead had gone on & we weren’t disappointed. Food was amazing 🤩 and all dietary requirements met. I have been in the region many times and have had lunch in various winery restaurants. The Flutes is one of the most memorable. The food, wine and the view are top notch!

Impromptu Sunday lunch. This place is now open for 7 days a week but only for lunches. I had the duck main and creme brulee for desert. Both dishes were very tasty and great portion size. We did order garlic bread for starter which unfortunately arrived at the same time as the main. Venue is lovely, overlooking the lake, with plenty of light, our waitress was lovely and attentive. Will visit again.

Took my wife, who is vegan, for lunch here because the chef seems to care about the food served to a variety of clients. We weren't disappointed, in fact positively impressed. Took a while for the food to come. Lamb and fish was juicy and full of flavours. Good selection of drinks and good service. Very nice views from the outside seating area with decking overlooking the lake. The whole estate was breathtaking and stunningly green.

Beautiful location and great food. I had my birthday lunch here, we didn't book a table in advance or tell anyone that it was my birthday but the waitress was so sweet, polite and just so attentive that I felt eternally grateful for her service as I was not having a great day before that. Our meals didn't take long to arrive and everything was cooked perfectly. This restaurant is a must try. It was a first visit for me and third for my mom and she said it has always been so nice and she picked it for my birthday lunch for a very good reason, perfect serene spot with the beautiful view. A few gorgeous fairywrens visited us as well when we were having desserts, can't wait to go back.

Booked having heard that Flutes is a fancy restaurant. The Wife and I dressed up a bit too much as after visiting found that the dresscode was rather casual by some. Inside the restaurant the seating looked good, outside the plastic chairs and tables without any table clothes was a little sub standard BUT the view was amazing. Allowing Dogs in the restaurant mmm not my cup a tea when going to what you think is a fancy place. The Food was really nice, I had rump steak and the wife had barramundi , portion sizes average. Dairy free options not great ( as in they can remove food BUT not really provide any substitutions. Overall its worth a visit in a beautiful location.

What an experience! Great wine, great view, great service! We both had the confit duck (served with Asian greens and rice) which was thoroughly enjoyable. After the plates were cleared I noticed a fellow who patron had ordered the steak... Served on a mash with a portabello mushroom and a lovely jus.... So I ordered that too. Would I go back? It was OK. I was going to order the Fettuccine Marinara. Then, I read that the dish is topped with the cheese, Grana Padano - OMG. This is sacrilege, YOU DO NOT top a marinara (seafood) with cheese!! Any fish with cheese does not go!!

great fun lunch for 5 at flutes. food was very good and had a lot of really interesting flavours. the bread was great and i had 'wild goat' for the main and really enjoyed it. they had very reasonably priced drinks specials and we used the entertainment book to get the price down to a surprisingly low level for such good food in a spectacular setting. one of the best!

Attended this venue today for a private function, a lovely wedding ceremony on the lawn. Then back to the restaurant for the reception. Was very impressed with the service and attentive staff. Very happy. Food was exceptional. Well presented, very flavorful and left me more than satisfied. Spectacular location, check the photo... Rav and Pav excelled in their service delivery. Am now looking for excuses to be back for another session! I reckon this place would go off with a band on the grass. Interested to see where the new management takes this venue. From my experience, can not fault the place and wholeheartedly recommend for a very pleasant experience.

My wife and I recently got married at Flutes Restaurant in January, 2020. For anyone looking to get married in the south west region - look no further. The wedding coordinator, Penny, is second to none and has an incredible eye for detail. She perfectly captured our vision and from the start we felt at ease and totally confident in her abilities. There was no task that was too difficult or request that was too small. Penny was such a joy to work with and worked incredibly hard to ensure we had the best day possible, which we are so grateful for. The venue is stunning, with views overlooking vineyards and a lake. There is also accommodation on site which was beautiful, convenient and very reasonably priced for big groups. The food was exceptional with a wide variety of menu options, and the staff were professional and efficient. The whole day and night ran smoothly and we would highly recommend to anyone wishing to have an unforgettably fantastic day.

Beautiful location in a vineyard, adjacent to a small lake with views of the vineyard and lake from inside as well as the suspended boardwalk outside. Food and wine is excellent, as is the service. I went there on a rainy, mid-week day so parking and access were easy. Weekends, particularly holiday season, may be crowded. The area is all wheelchair accessible with gentle slopes that may require a friendly “Pusher”, depending on individual ability. Wheelchair accessible amenities are excellent.

Had four wonderful meals at Flutes and looking forward to yet another one as we are taking another relative from New Zealand there soon. We have been with my niece and her friend from the UK and they enjoyed the delicious meal and the beautiful surroundings, and particularly the paintings in the restaurant. Also took two other relatives from New Zealand, who were very impressed with the meal, wine and the ambience. Maybe just one complaint, there should have been more than one waiter/ waitress. But it was worth the wait because the meals are delicious. Would definitely recommend Flutes, their menu is superb.

Very picturesque, food pretty good, oysters killpatrick entree was spectacular but my seafood pasta had, one scallop, no roe, two prawns and some small bits of fish, desert affogato was very nice, one thing i didn't like was a sheet of paper over the table cloth, not good for what should be a premier restaurant, you get dressed for a nice birthday lunch and paper on top of the table cloth just doesn't cut it, sorry.
