First time at Happy Dragon with friends and family to celebrate a birthday. Overall the consensus was food was nice and service was too. Complaints were-no prawn crackers served and Satay beef was quite skimpy on the meat and was mostly vegetables. I took home a take away for partner and son so asked for NO vegies in Satay based on table dish but still had an average serve of vegetables in it although not as much as dine in one did.

Our family has been eating at this restaurant for many years. Most our family live in WA and my husband and I can not come to WA without a visit to this amazing Chinese restaurant with our family,which continues to grow. tonight we needed 2 tables to accommodate 11 adults 7 children and our latest grandaugter. The management is amazing and because we come so often they remember what to have in the kitchen to accommodate us for dessert. I wish Tasmania had one Chinese restaurant that could come close to this place for the amazingly delicious food and great prices. We will be back with our next visit to WA I'm September.

Tasted really great.... until I almost choked on plastic. Not cling wrap per se... but definitely something similar. With my chicken chow mein dish. Prawn roast was great. Also asked for a side condiment, but I guess the Uber note was missed.

We've been living in the area for nearly twenty years and happy to say we've been eating at Happy Dragon for nearly that long. Have never had a bad meal although we pretty much always order the same dishes - when you're onto a good thing, right? Special fried rice is enjoyed by everyone but I'm torn between the satay beef and garlic king prawn dishes.

Just moved into the area and delighted with our dinner at Happy Dragon. Food was very tasty and good sized serves. Service was excellent and owner was just lovely though a little stressed as the restaurant was very busy and she personally keeps an eye to make sure all are looked after properly. Quality of food is consistent and very, very good with decent sized servings. Service is by far the fastest of any Chinese restaurant we have been to and staff are always super friendly & accomodating. A family favourite of ours for many years. Will make a regular of you too!

The Beef Chow Mein and Lemon Chicken are perfect every time we get it. Food is tasty hot and fresh, probably some of the best chinese you can get in North Perth that is decently priced as well :D

First time ordering..found it very easy to place my order, the kuey tow that I had was delicious and it had more prawns than most restaurants will include in their dishes. Only thing was I found was a small piece of plastic in my meal, not ruining the eating experience but it did make me weary with every bite afterwards.

Fond memories of this restaurant. The sauces have more flavour and finesse than some other vanilla Chinese restaurants I've eaten at. The meats were well cooked, fresh vegies used. I wish I wasn't 30 km's away as I would visit this place often.
