Food is good although a bit higher in price when compared to other places. You also should never order their food through Uber Eats as the prices are marked up an average 40-50% which is the highest I've seen for any restaurant on Uber Eats. This is for everything, including their drinks and condiments (I compared the prices on their website to what they had on Uber Eats). This also doesn't include the delivery or service fee, and so it is quite a big rip-off ordering delivery for their food. Otherwise, it's one of the better Japanese places in the area just wish their prices were a bit cheaper. (I rate it 3.5 stars just rounded up as there is no half ratings)

Initially ordered delivery but a Bento Box went from 12 to 24 bucks not including fees n charges. So I picked it up. Small serve, was ok, wasn't not nice but wasn't fantastic either. It was sufficient

Nice chicken teriyaki bento box. Average size but great taste. However for $4.3 an ice cold tea I thought that was expensive and extra $1 for Miso soup. The Yokine is much better value.

Perhaps the best Miso soup I've eaten anywhere, more like a broth, very good. The small sashimi was a meal in itself (would have preferred the fish sliced thinner, but this is no critism of the dish). Also had karaage chicken bento - very good. Decent sized meal, the edamame was delicious, even the salad was good. Very, very good all round.

Authentic japanese food at a reasonable price. The ramen reminds me of my trip in Japan and the desserts are amazing. I've returned to this restaurant on multiple occassions and consistently delivers the goods.

Great authentic Japanese food (and owner) in a cosy little place. Love the nice touch of tatami flooring on the seats. Their pork ramen is up there with one of the best in Perth 🇯🇵🍜 There's limited seats so make sure you book in advance if you're dining in.

Great food and cosy atmosphere. Would not recommend groups unless you book early. We were a group of four and unfortunately had to sit on the 'bar' table. Not the best spot to sit as you face the wall and cannot chat properly with mates on the same 'table' as you. Prices were reasonable.

Today was my first experience what I would consider my local Japanese restaurant The pricing is extremely reasonable 37 dollars exactly we paid through PayPal and picked up the meals our self ordering katus Pork and the curry as our main lunch and Six pieces of tokoyaski as our side dish despite what I read from a fellow Google reviewer The portion sizes were excellent and the takeaway this is them selves but nice and steady all the flavours were simply beautiful and quite nice looking forward to going back again

Pork Katsu tastes really good. Others taste ok. A bit pricing. Portion is a bit small to us. Also, had a dessert fish shape little pancake filled with sweet red bean with ice cream on the side which I like it very much. $8 but so yummy. will come back to try more dishes.

We always enjoy our trips to Hiro. They never dissapoint us. What ever they do is fresh and made with care. I love the quality of the food here. It's a small little restaurant but does lovely food. They always have a nice list of specials. Great with enough choice for my partner who is vegetarian.

Gone downhill. Last few times have been relatively unimpressed with the food and then today Rang to try and order and the phone rung out 3 times. I suggested my partner just go and try and order takeaway at the restaurant. He went in and stood there for 5 minutes and walked back out when they did not even acknowledge him. It's fine that you're busy but just say can you wait a moment. Not sure we'll go back, which is a shame as this is our local.

My favourite japanese spot in perth, the service is always super friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. Our go to dishes are the teriyaki beef, teriyaki salmon, teriyaki tofu, agedashi tofu, lotus chips (mmmmmmmm) and the teriyaki chicken salad. Portion sizes are always super generous so you're never left hungry with a bento serve. the sushi is also excellent, made to order and always warm and full of flavour. Shame they dont open sundays and mondays but everyone needs some time off I guess. Hiros is well worth a visit and deserves to be busy, its exceptionally well made japanese cuisine.

This is our favourite take away food place, fresh and very yummy. The service is excellent ( we usually pre order ) and have never had a problem. The seating is minimal so imagine if you wanted a table you would need to book well ahead.

It has been too long since we've been here, and We missed it so much! Such good food, prompt service. Do yourself a favor and always try stuff off their Specials Board. We always have to have the Wagyu Tataki, grilled Squid with Teriyaki and Mayo, and if we have enough space for dessert, the Kinako Mochi and Ice cream :) I wish it was easier to get to as I've moved to SOR, but driving 40 minutes is totally worth it!

This place is tiny but authentic. There are so many Japanese restaurants in Perth but a great majority of them are not managed by Japanese, therefore the inauthenticity. Those that are really offering authentic Japanese food by real Japanese are charging exorbitant amounts of money. But that’s not Hiro. This small restaurant tucked away in a quiet suburb is offering authentic Japanese at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Japanese food. (There’s a booze store just next to it and hiro allows byo for $5)

We have had take away from Hiro on a number of occasions and it has turned into our 'go-to' when we want a dependable tasty dinner. Currys are good, bento boxes are good, entrees are good. really like this place. We have never dined in, there are a few tables and I think they do menu specials that aren’t available on the take away menu. Soft shell crab entree is a winner.
