Risotto balls are nice, and staff are nice too. However, the air-conditioning is really not strong enough for summer lunch, so cannot give it 5 stars. It was also very noisy like a traditional street market. Personally it is a no-no to me.

This is one of my favorite Italian joints in Perth! Can’t go wrong with the wood fired pizzas, crab pasta, and grilled squid. All the food is amazing and it’s BYO! The best part is the staff is so friendly and accommodating. If you love authentic wood fired pizza and traditional Italian cuisine then I recommend checking out Ischia. ❤️

The pasta was very ordinary. I had the chicken and egg pasta which was all stuck together and not a great texture. The chicken parmigiana was very flat and uneventful. The stand out was the pizza and the dessert which had the more authentic italian flavours. The service was also great and it is open pretty late on week days

Had a really great lunch here whilst celebrating a relatives birthday. It was a set menu with about 6 choices for mains. There was anti pasto (good selection)and arancini (delicious) on the table to start followed by grilled squid and wood fired pizza. Both were excellent. I had spaghetti marinara that was in a very tasty sauce with a good selection of seafood, the prawns in particular were delicious and cooked to perfection. Dessert was a great creme brulee with a lovely crisp caramel topping. Service was excellent with attentive and friendly staff. A restaurant I'd be very happy to return to.

They had a great menu, the meal I had was excellent. Staff were courteous and seemed happy to serve. The meal came out in very good time. From what I could see the the restaurant was that half capacity. The table we were at had a cross breeze which was pleasant. I can thoroughly recommend the place, it was very nice, I look forward to going there again.

Fantastic experience, as a second generation Italian Australian who grew up with family style food and as a chef who has had the privilege of working and living in the Southern region of Italy, this was the closest thing to experiencing authentic Italian food I have come across in Perth. Great job well done!!!

If you're ordering on Ubereats, you might want to give this a pass. I ordered the Fettucine all'uovo con pollo, margherita pizza and tiramisu. For $30, the pasta left me underwhelmed as it only contained 9 pieces of diced chicken thigh 2x1cm in size each and came in your usual 750ml sized take away container. No glorious mounds of pasta here... The pizza was not bad but the tiramisu was the next disappointment as there was no care factor when serving up the portion as pictured

The menu only shows vegetarian options. However several of these can be made vegan on request. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive. Also great value for money. Highly recommend.

Was super excited to try this restaurant after all the good reviews. However our experience was pretty average. Staff were lovely and friendly but the service wasn’t the best and we waited a long time for our food.. I didn’t really enjoy the dishes I had but that’s just be down to personal preference. I had the calamari which was ok and the mussels in white wine sauce but the sauce was super salty and didn’t taste like white wine sauces I’ve had in the past. Can’t really explain what it was like. Can’t really rate the Italian dishes as we had seafood. Pastas and pizza’s could be great. Maybe I just make the wrong food choice.

I come here purely for the Caesar salad, it is sooo good! Definitely the best Caesar salad in Perth. Other meals we tried were a hit & miss. Fresh bread with butter is a must. Delicious. Steaks are fine. Not extraordinary but fine. So is red emperor. Pastas were not to my or my partner’s liking. Seemed quite bland. Requested to be spicy - chefs did not add any chilli to it while cooking, instead we were given chilli on the side. Happened twice. I personally prefer to have chilli added to my meal at the cooking stage. „Meatlovers” pizza was soggy and bland. We never got any other pizza from here again. Staff is very accomodating and fulfills special requests even when the place is busy. And it gets super busy in the evenings and over the weekend so booking may be essential.

A casual Italian diner, very much a place for a family dinner. Friendly staff and friendly crowd, and logically very noisy. Not a place for a quiet evening out. With it's very large pizza oven, pizza servings are good. The menu is reasonably large. The pasta are well seasoned and prepared, but a little overdone, if you're looking for an Al dente bite. Wine list is limited, and the fact they accept a corkage charge for your byo is great.

Good atmosphere, good waiters, great food and good prices. Started with a classic margherita pizza to share for entree and had a pasta each for main. Margherita was really good. Thin base, crisp but not burnt and soft on top. Good amount of a mild flavored roommate sauce and even spread of cheese, surrounded by a light and crunchy crust. Pasta was gentle and soft, plenty of flavour in each dish! Puttanesca was amazing, light saltyness with plenty of amazing olives, sundried tomatoes and capers. Chicken was tender with light creamy sauce, mushrooms and sundried tomatoes. Their cocktails are delish, and really well priced too

It is recommended that you must reserve a table to eat in this restaurant. The food is delicious but I don't think it is particularly memorable. The most recommended dessert is tiramisu. Later, I have ordered tiramisu for delivery many times! I think it tastes better than Ciao Italia!

I’m glad I paid a visit at this restaurant when the next door cafe we wanted to go was temporarily closed. Ischia had been always on my wishlist so why not give it a go! The service was extraordinary, the Italian guy and young lady were very friendly and caring. We chose to be seated in the patio and it was very refreshing and lovely. The food was amazing too, the pizza is undoubtedly authentic Neapolitan wood fired, the cheese was very milky. The fresh marinara pasta and fried squid were great too. Will definitely come back soon.

Came here last week for the first time and didn’t think it was going to be that good, when I first walked in looking at all the menulog bags on the side they look pretty dirty and the place looked rundown, but I quickly learnt you should never judge a book by its cover, these guys really do know how to make a good pizza and really good pasta! Second time visiting Ischia and it’s safe to say it didn’t disappoint! Food came really quickly and service was excellent, and food was even better than I remembered. Had the polpette to share for starters, Margherita pizza (others had the truffle and bufala pizza and the seafood linguine, all equally as impressed with the food quality) and a tiramisu for dessert. Safe to say we left stuffed and couldn’t recommend it enough for the whole experience!

This restaurant has a great buzz on weekends, so recommend booking ahead. The staff are friendly and the interior is a casual dining style. They serve a typical Italian restaurant menu and pricing is more-or-less standard, albeit on the higher side. The standout for me was the tiramisu - it was delicious. The pizza was nice too although a bit oily. The lasagne however was a letdown. Whilst the pasta in the lasagne was cooked perfectly, it was a bit light on other ingredients. Based on this, I found the lasagne not worth the cost.

Fabulous! Really impressed with food, service, prices. Dinner for two or ten. We went at 8pm on a Saturday night. (Suggest booking ahead but there were walk ins) Very vibrant place. Lots going on. Basic table and chairs not the most comfortable but so what, the attentive and friendly staff, the fast service and delicious meals outweighed that. We ordered five starters and cocktails. All looked amazing and tasted as good. Recommended. Will more than likely take the family next time.

Such a great experience with food and drink to match. "Dave" out front of shop provided excellent service as did the other table staff who were all very attentive (even providing hand sanitiser before the pizza arrived when they noticed we patted a passing dog out for his walk). The food was superb and the wine selection has something to suit all tastes and pairs well with the food. Will be back again.

Well we almost left when we first arrived as we were given a tiny table for two on the busy footpath outside the restaurant but I'm glad we didn't! All the staff were lovely but an older Chinese gent in particular who was very funny and charming offered myself and others sitting outside blankets and a discount on the soup of the day. For entrees we ordered the fried squid and king prawns and I have to say, it was probably the best fried squid I've ever had (and I have eaten A LOT of it at many different restaurants). The sauce on the prawns was divine, we had to restrain ourselves from scooping it up with spoons and eating it after prawns were gone 😂. For mains we had the seafood marinara and the pasta with scallops. The scallops were cooked to perfection and weren't skimped on like a lot of places (there was around 10 of them) and all the flavours in the dish were just perfectly balanced. There was nothing too rich or overwhelming but the furthest thing from bland. The seafood marina could not be faulted and it was nice to have some decent mussels for a change that didn't taste weird. Service was very fast and efficient except for the mains which were a little on the slow side, however not surprising considering it was flat out on a Saturday night. We were taken care of and never found ourselves looking around trying to get the attention of staff. Overall, this place is the bomb! I know we will be going back and I highly, highly recommend it to anyone else.

Iv had the calzone, not impressed as it wasn't cooked thru so the filling wasn't hot nor the cheese melted. But friends and I go there for a luncheon and the baby squid is awesome.... grilled or crispy served with salad, tomato relish or tartare(not idea why, yuk). Entree and main portions, mains you can have ½ and ½ grilled/crispy. Mmmmmmmmmmmm! They have a particular red wine that I can't find anywhere else, so good, will always come back for the squid and red wine. Tiramisu was great today, the brandy basket dessert is big but the basket is thick. Shall be back for more.

The food was nice, we ordered the arancini, fried calamari, marinara, and chicken Parm. I would say half of the meal was great, the other half mediocre. The calamari was cooked perfectly, had a great cruch and lovely accompaniment of a dressed salad and sauce. Tasted really delicious. The marinara was beautiful, pasta was great and the seafood cooked lovely. Bursting with flavours and getting the right balance of seasoning The arancini was a bit of a let down, it had a great crunch, but I found it lacking in flavour, needed more salt and pepper, more seasoning in the rice inside the coating as well. The chicken parmeseana was unfortunately a let down in my books, just lacked flavour, it tasted like it came out of the freezer, didn't taste fresh, tasted watery BUT the sauce was lovely, the side of vegetables was seasoned perfectly, the potato's were the highlight of the dish. Overall presentation and staff attentiveness was outstanding and would definitely go back again, maybe ordering a pasta or pizza dish this time around!

Casual Italian restaurant with really good food. Been here a few times and it's been consistently good. The pasta is tasty - the crayfish pasta is my favourite dish - and the pizza and appetizers are good too. Also like the tiramisu and ice cream selection. Service is good despite the crowds here. Overall, a good, reliable restaurant to come to - definitely will be back.

Authentic wood fire cooked pizzas that you can find in European countries around the Mediterranean sea (Italy, France, Spain...). If you only like thick, fatty, oily, indigestible american type pizzas do not go there! Also very good european red wines to match with the pizza! Too bad the dessert menu is a bit short and I would have loved a pizza with smoked salmon on a crème fraîche base!

Tasty garlic bread. I had the chicken, mushroom, sundried tomato cream pasta which was really nice, I substituted the fettuccine for spaghetti. Portion size was great, fresh ingredients, pasta was not overcooked despite ordering off uber eats which is fantastic. Only feedback would be depth of flavour could be improved with more garlic or herbs or white wine, the sauce tasted mostly of cream only. I also got the tiramisu which was good, nice coffee flavour, but I think it was made with whipped cream as opposed to marscapone so worth noting if you like a traditional tiramisu, I think going stronger on the expresso flavor would also improve it. Overall good experience, only small things stopped this from being 5 star Ordering pasta off uber eats is always a risk, so this was a nice surprise

This was my 3rd recent return visit to Ischia. Very friendly and customer focused service. We enjoyed all vegetarian dishes, and they were beautifully presented too. The arancinis were delicious, salad fresh, gnocchi absolutly amazing. Napoli style pizza was mouthwatering and desserts were absolutely top notch!

I just had dinner here it was a good experience, friendly staff. I ordered the chocolate milkshake and it costs $8 for that I didn’t think I’d get the most budget chocolate milk in it with a tiny bit of chocolate swirl I thought I’d get whip cream, some flakes or something it was pretty bland.. and the chicken parmigiana was cold in the middle, presentation was a 4/10, pretty pricey food, but I enjoyed the pizza and vibe this place gives :)

This may not be groundbreaking food, but it is good, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly and willing to help. We have had the Tartufo pizza, and it was quite good (we were so hungry I didn't take a single photo 😞). The ingredients felt fresh, and the thin crust done well. We have also ordered an item from the menu on the website - the Penne funghi. It looks like the menu on the website is outdated - the chef told us it's a menu from about a week ago. Still, he has graciously agreed to make it for us, and not only was the portion ginormous, but the taste was on-point, the penne was done well, and the amount of sauce was precisely right - it was enough to cover the penne, mushrooms, and the walnuts, but not so much that it would all swim in a creamy soup. Overall, we had a great experience! Only downside - we were so stuffed we couldn't order the berry and ricotta cheesecake we really wanted.

Oh my goodness, we were just blown away! I have dietary issues and I have never been so looked after in my life! They spent time making sure that there were no traces of foods that give me reactions. The waiter was very friendly and very vigilant with our needs. He also kept us in the loop as to what was happening with our food. We had the pumpkin pizza at it tasted so amazing! All the employees look very relaxed and happy. It’s a really lovely environment to be in. Would absolutely recommend for anyone to go!

I was very pleasantly surprised to learn there was an exceptional Italian Restaurant within walking distance of my home. The food was molto delizioso. The service was par excellence. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant couldn't be much better, unless it were on the water. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last visit. If you're a conasoire of fine Italian food, you'll definitely want to add this eatery to your list of places to go for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed. First time to Ischia tonight and we LOVED our experience. Chose the Ischia prawns from seeing a picture online and they did not disappoint. Every dish was full of flavour and presented well. Service was incredible from the moment we stepped until the moment we left. I dined at Ischia last night in a party 8 people and was blown away with how good this place is. I booked the table only 3 hours before arrival and they were very accommodating. We were placed in the alfresco area which I enclosed and beautifully heated. The service is just sensational and this is the best Italian food I have ever had. I had the spaghetti marinara which was so fresh with generous portions of beautiful fresh seafood (squid, fish, prawns and mussels). The portion size is huge and excellent value. Everybody else’s dish looked equally amazing and everyone including the kids were very happy. I could not fault the excellent service, food and atmosphere at the wonderful venue and I can’t wait get back. Thank-you very much!

If you're ordering on Ubereats, you might want to give this a pass. I ordered the Fettucine all'uovo con pollo, margherita pizza and tiramisu. For $30, the pasta left me underwhelmed as it only contained 9 pieces of diced chicken thigh 2x1cm in size each and came in your usual 750ml sized take away container. The pizza was not bad but the tiramisu was the next disappointment as there was no care factor when serving up the portion as pictured

Always love coming to Ischia for dinner. First found this place around 3 years ago and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and attentive and with a few Italians on the roster it’s a great place to practice a bit of the famous language. I also love the tv screens that show high quality videos of the restaurant’s namesake, Ischia, just off Naples in Italy. Goes hand in hand with the delicious arancini balls, pizzas or pastas. Never had a bad meal here and I was pleased with the recent addition of a window shield to block out the warm late afternoon/evening sun. Best Italian in town!

This place became a staple of our quarantine life. Friday night pizza and a movie with some wine. Great value for money, when you consider how good of a product you get for a relatively standard price. I can’t even say what my favourite thing is! Everything? Can I say everything? All the staff here are so lovely, they never leave you waiting but they also don't make you feel rushed, and tonight we saw the nonna walking around the floor, which fills me with such confidence for the food. The food is excellent and always too hot to eat when it comes out. I always feel like I'm ripping them off with how well priced the dishes and drinks are. I enjoy the option of eating inside or in their alfresco area, which is a lovely partially enclosed patio that you can enjoy the outside without feeling as though people walking past are watching you eat. The Managers along with the Pizza Chef (had a lovely exchange at a low-affluence time) and the two Waitresses and the Waiter have been very kind and professional (I've been at Ischia Restaurant twice). Trough every, I repeat, every single plate that reached my table I felt somehow back in Italy :) except for the feta, olives, onions salad that reminded me more of Greece because of obvious similarity in the use of the ingredients, but it was made the Italian way :) In both my visits there have sincerely been no bad sides at all. Thanks to all the persons who put themselves at work, so that I too could have had a taste of Italy and its well-known, lovely sides.

I hesitated a bit between 4 and 5 stars. Here's why I would have given 5 stars: the fonduta was very good, we shared it as a starter and the home made garlicy pizza bread that came with it was divine. My crayfish pasta was perfectly balanced and the scaloppine of my partner were very good with the exception of one. The tiramisu was perfect, the dish sizes were very generous and the Italian wine and spirits selection was big and very good. However, here's why I only gave 4 stars : even though I understand that the restaurant was very busy, the service was below average. We were served by 5 different waitors/waitresses. Two of them were very good, professional and friendly, the other ones, like most of the younger staff, seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Empty glasses were first left on the table, then knocked over, my chair was constantly ran into (even though they placed us in a quieter corner of the restaurant once we asked for it, which was very thoughtful). No one table checked after we got our food, which is why we couldn't signal the issue with one of the scaloppine, which was a quite chewy. Furthermore, we had to remind staff of the wines we had ordered with the mains. This experience would have been perfect, if maybe one waitor/waitress would have been assigned a section, making it feel a bit less stressful. We will definitely be back and try this again, as the food was almost as perfect as we are used to from Italy, hopefully the service will then be matching the excellence of the food.

Holy Toledo...what a fabulous experience we have just had at this fantastic restaurant! Food and service are outstanding. Our party of three were met at the front counter by Louis, who welcomed us, and although they were fully booked, offered us a table on the sidewalk, with a smile and blankets included!!! Then our waiter for the evening, David, totally captivated us with his fantastic, flamboyant and OTT personality. He was outstanding and had an awesome sense of humour, and would have to be the best waitperson we have ever met! Domenic promptly delivered our delicious meals, which we could not fault. Portion sizes were excellent! All in all, we had a wonderful evening and will definately be back! Thankyou all, for a fabulous "Italian Experience".....Bon Apetite!

I been here earlier in the year to get late take away lunch. We ordered the gnocchi & spaghetti marinara & loved it. The person who served us was very friendly & told us to sit while we wait as we were standing. Not that we minded standing. This time we got pizzas as we felt like having dinner in but didn't feel like cooking. We ordered the garlic Focaccia as there was no garlic bread on the menu. We didn't miss the garlic bread. We also ordered the capricosa, funghi & Napoli pizzas. They were so yum. My fave has to be the funghi, closely followed by the capricosa & then the Napoli which was a tad saltier than other pizzas I've had with anchovies but still really good. We will definitely be back

One fine evening, with a craving for pasta, I decided to give Ischia a try.. and boy was I glad I did. Their pasta (I've tried four different types there since) is a l w a y s perfectly al dente and portions are on the larger side. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and accommodating as well. I don't usually order a starter there because the mains are more than sufficient. The prawn seafood starter I ordered once was delicious but rather pricey for the portion size received.

Look its popular but given the range of outside offerings and ones with real airconditioning and street views on a summers evening I wonder if screen appeal exceeds actual appeal. Food average and expensive for what came out. I love italian but found even a salt loving meat eater left half the pizza. Couple of beers and a whibe with two dishes $95. Maybe normal but for Mandurah we expect waterfront and a sunset with a natural breeze. Maybe like those in namesake Italy.
