Have been here twice now and will definitely be returning. The decor really makes you feel like you're in an Izakaya in Japan, and the food only enhances that experience. Staff are friendly too and they do take bookings, so make sure to book if you're coming on weekends as they do get pretty crowded.

This place has a good atmosphere and family friendly. The place has a homely and inviting feeling to it. The food here was great and I loved the pork belly. Staff here are really friendly and polite but there wasn't a lot of waiters around so service was a bit slow. Unfortunately the fried chicken wings were a bit too salty. However we all still had a great time here

Impressed with their authenticity. This restaurant was my first izakaya dining experience. The food choice was different than what I usually have. My most favorite was the yellow tail fish sashimi and the pork belly come second. Never tried stingray's fin, as it was chewy and nice to be paired with beer.

Very authentic Japanese izakaya experience, tucked away down Murray Street. Excellent selection of food, the eight dishes we tried were all delicious. The drinks selection is great with fresh beer on tap and allot of different types of sake to try. The ambience inside at night is very cosy and the service was fantastic, all the staff are super friendly. If you are planning to eat here on a weekend I would definitely recommend reserving a table to avoid missing out or you may have to wait outside for a table to become available.

This was my favourite Japanese restaurant in Perth. It probably still is. However they recently removed Udon off the dinner menu and I am devastated. It was my favourite dish. Please put it back on and I'll change my score to 5 stars! Otherwise, the place is amazing. Great atmosphere. It has a real authentic izakaya vibe which I have been unable to find anywhere else in Perth.

This was our second visit here and we will definitely be back. A great little conversion of the Hifumiya Udon Noodle restaurant for night time service. Highly recommend visiting, the food was great quality and very flavoursome. Sardines on fire are a must try!

Last night was the second time I have been to Jigoro's - and the experience is still amazing. The first one was with Perth Kimono Circle. And last night, a date with hubby. Food is always deliscious and makes me feel like I am in Japan. Great customer service and vibrant ambiance.

Delicious as expected! Lovely different atmosphere in the evenings too. Unfortunately they don't have the usual lunch menu udon/donburi/toppings, and everything is slightly more expensive due to it being dinner priced. Still great value and delicious, and staff are lovely as always. Will be back to try some of the more interesting items on the dinner menu.

I can't believe I've been going to Hifumiya for years and not realise it becomes Jigoro at night! Food was flawless and so delicious, my advice to everyone is bring some friends so you can try as many dishes that you can. Also their selection of Sake was very neat, I just wish we had more Japanese places that offer as much as Jigoro. Make sure you order some karaage chicken because it might just be the best in WA! Goes without saying, atmosphere and service was perfect.

Just perfectly authentic izakaya. I absolutely love this place. I’ve tried every single menu here and nothing was below our expectation. Staff are all very smiley, happy, fun. Very nice service. Only one tiny complain, table is too wide and it makes it very difficult to talk to each other.

If you’re after an authentic Japanese food at a Japanese izakaya style setting, this is the place to go. Food is fresh and deliciously filling at a very cheap price. The chefs are cery friendly too. The sake menu is also a must try an be sure to try everything in their menu. Your tummy will thank you.

Went there during the day a few times for udon and etc. At night they are so different. Alcohol menu is interesting. Japanese influenced cocktail and fresh beer on tap are my favourite. Food menu offers a variety of izakaya style food. Highlight is the raw octopus. Service is attentive.

It gives you the atmosphere of being on the streets of Japan. There is a wide variety of meals and drinks. There is a parking lot next to it. It is very suitable for three or five friends to relax or colleagues to have a meal. . By the way, here are different menus at noon and evening, next time I want to try the udon noodles at lunch time!
