Great American style burgers, in a spacious setting, loads of excitement on the menu, with a few challenges to add. . Great for families, for catch ups, or just a party for one. No BYO or beers, just good old fashioned American and South American drinks.

I have been meaning to come here for years, I've heard some great things. I enjoy a good burger and after a night like last night I was looking forward to some greasy goodness. But I should've gone to my regular and saved myself the big round trip. When I bit the burger a load of fat erupted out, kind of disgusting to get a mouthful of clumpy fat. The burger meat was dull. It lacked seasoning and I almost dreaded having bites where it was only burger meat and bun. The burger should've had onion rings on it instead of raw onion (my opinion). Good base for a potentially great burger and with some adjustments you could have a real banger. Pricing seemed a bit steep for what it was. If I happened to be in the area, I would come back and try a chicken burger. I will not be going out of my way again or anytime soon. Best of luck.

We've been coming to Johnny's Burgers since the very beggining when he was doing burgers out of his mums cafe in the main building. The burgers have always been top notch and we feel so lucky to have such a great burger joint near our home. Last night I thought I'd try something different to my usual burger and had the JFC... wow, what a treat!!! When it came out, I thought my chicken piece was overcooked/burnt... boy, was I wrong!!! It was perfectly cooked and juicy. My wife had a Mushroom burger and our boy had the Johnny Jnr sliders. The Curley fries were delicious and the Root Beer Float and Chocolate Milkshakes were devine!!! 10/10 Johnny's, you've done it again!!!

Went to Johnny's Burger's a couple of day ago and boy were the delicious. I got the JFC Burger, it was very crunchy but yet juicy chicken. All beef burgers you get a choice of being cooked medium (the way it should be) or well done. Also got onion rings, French fries and my partner also got a burger. All burgers are a good price, cheaper then the other place I go to. I would definitely go again!

As always, Johnny's burgers are delicious! Got there quite late last night... 8 45 pm, however, the staff were very friendly and helpful and welcoming. My order of Philly cheese steak, onion rings and a single troublemaker was quickly made, and came out smelling amazing and making my stomach rumble for the full 5 minutes it took to get home. The onion rings were crunchy on the outside, melty soft onion in the inside. The cheese steak was as always hot with oozy melty cheese, melt in the mouth steak and perfectly steamed bun. The troublemaker I watched being inhaled almost... Apparently it was as fabulous as it always is!!! Thanks once again to the staff at Johnny's Burgers... You always make such delicious burgers... Even the cats of the household stare and ask for a small bit of their humans meat and cheese from our food!! And in this household... The paw of approval means that we will return time and time again!! Thanks guys!! 😊😊

We really enjoyed our meal here today. The guy who served us was friendly. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. The serving size was quite large, I couldn't finish my burger but I now have lunch for tomorrow. The curly fries were really good too. And there was a really good amount of bacon in my burger, finally. None of this one small rasher rubbish. The only negative was that the chicken breast in my daughter's burger was a tad dry but it was still really good. We'll definitely be coming back. Love not having to go into the city for a decent burger.

This is as close as you can get to american style burger, well maybe with more cheese!!! They have quiet a selection with their menu ranging from classic to fusion style. One thing that makes them famous is their challenge burger that you have to order them 24 hours in advance if you'd like to try 'em. Give them a go, you won't be disappointed!

I've been going to this place on and off since before it is the amazing place it is today. Johnny's Burgers originally started with Johnny's mothers Cafe in the shopping centre across the parking lot, before it grew in size to what it now currently sits at. It is easy to tell that alot of effort, and research have gone into the design and creation of everything on the menu, from the Garlic overload that is Dracula's Dilemma, to the ultimate hang over cure, oddly called "The Cure" (no such thing as too much Bacon.) Even the Deep Fired Cheese sticks have been well researched, with the item coming from an actual trip by Johnny over to the USA. But lastly how can you call yourself an American inspired diner with out a burger challenge? When you first enter the premise slew around to the left to witness the Wall of Shame whom over look the patrons as they enjoy a meal, or peer over the counter to the Trimphet Wall of Fame for the victor's of one of the 3 Johnny's Challenges, which include a burger consisting of 1kg of beef patty, tons of Bacon, and 1.5kgs of fries. Good Luck! All in all it is a great place to eat, drink popular American drinks such as Arizona Iced Tea, and put your Pandemic fears to rest with a large open space where you can sit and enjoy your Jucy Lucy in comfort.

If you're looking for an all American burger, hot dogs and wings, dont skip this place. Good selection of burger varieties and fries (can't say chips in this context...) Burger was juicy and served with a couple of slices of pickles. And the Buffalo Chicken Wings was authentic, though could be spicier. Food came out quite quickly. They even have a good selection of American sodas! Spacious seating, friendly staff and great casual hangout spot. And they've got some toys to keep the littlies happy!

We ordered the JFC and the Down Undahhhh burger with a side of crispy hot salty fries. The beef burger was very tasty. Moist patty and very flavoursome! The JFC was something else! All I can say is wow. Crispy skin chicken with slaw and thick sliced pickles and mayo with a spicy little kick! The fries tasted exactly like McDonald’s fries but better! We will definitely be returning to try all the burgers on the menu. The burgers and fries kept us satisfied all day and we didn’t need dinner.

We had the Ching Chong, the fried chicken burger called the JFC? & the magic mushroom. Burgers itself weren’t too bad however it was too greasy for my liking. The chicken burger also had a slight almost curry-like spice flavour to it which I wasn’t a fan of & would suggest the chicken be made out of a breast or thighs so it is in one piece as it kept falling out due to it being strips as opposed to one piece of chicken. An updated menu should also be posted to reflect changes. Counter staff could be more helpful with suggestions & the place could do with faster clearing of tables & a sweep as there was leaves blown in just as you enter the shop. As the motto is, it’s a no fuss eatery where you grab a couple of burgs. Overall experience wasn’t too bad.

Huge portions! We had great early lunch at canning Vale johnny's burger. Spacy place with simple retro feel deco. The troublemaker, is a classic beef burger. The Jfc , is a chicken burger with a twist hint of curry spices. Both were very yummy. They loaded with sauces, vegies, and pickles. The meat cooked perfectly, beef in medium done and chicken fried. We love the curly fries too. Short waiting time. The restaurant located inside a shopping village so its convenient. Lots of parking spaces.

The place is refreshing for this side of town. Walk in and welcomed with big open space and tables with a small kids area. We sat at the high table and looked at the menu which was not too extensive and had the right amount of choices. We ordered JFC and the Cure and the classic JD. Along with chilli cheese fries and curly fries. The sides were a good addition and must have to the burgers. Curly fries recommend! The JfC was fried chicken and needed bit more seasoning the brioche bun saved it though, but I wouldn't order it again. Instead go for the classic. Remember it is a burger joint! I will come back again and try the others but the cure did look dam good! Bacoon!

Been wanting to try this local burger place for awhile. They have a good selection of burgers on the menu. I ordered the chicken burger was really very tasty, however it was very oily and I could hardly eat any of it. I only managed half. The taste is definitely there but too oily for my liking. We ordered a variety of their menu, including several of their sides. The burgers are massive. You could easily split a single with someone if you order a side. Best sides are the waffle fries and the onion rings. I liked the Chipotle ranch. Probably wouldn't get the curly fries or cheese sticks again. The star though was at the end when ordered 4 chocolate shakes. They were so good. Tasted like a normal American shake. Like potbelly's shakes. They also have 'cane sugar' Dr. Pepper (bottled in Plano, TX), Root Beer, a selection of Arizona Teas, and they even had Topo Chico soda water.

What happened guys?!? This place used to be so packed and full of energy, but now the vibes totally different! Staff who bring out orders do no specify clearly what food item they have bought out onto the table. From having sides bought out a good 10-15 minutes before burgers arrive, to being told mid-bite that the burger was meant to be for a different table.... Used to dread the long drive from where we live to eat here, the reward was totally worth it but now if we wanted a feed from Johnny's we may as well stick to the Joondalup location as it is much much closer to home.

I don't know why there are bad reviews about this place. I've personally been here over fifteen times now and have only ever had good food come from the kitchen. The waiting time isn't bad either. I think it's between 15-30 minute wait times as well (depending on how busy it is) My personal recommendation would be the Honolulu Lulu (basically a teriyaki Hawaiian burger.) which is actually my favourite thing to eat here. Definitely worth the price. Thank you for the good food. keep up the good job :)

We ordered some take away food via phone and they said that it'll be ready in 16minutes. When we arrived at the Jonny's after around 20 minutes the food was still not ready. The chef started cooking the food after we arrived at the burger joint. Because, of these people's fault I got late for an important appointment. Please don't do this to people. If you cannot make the food on-time let us know for God's sake so, we can go somewhere else.

My family and I (7 of us) went to the canning vale joint for father's day and as expected, it was super packed, the queue was long and it seemed impossible to find a table. However, the lady was kind enough to find us a spot, bless your heart as it really made our day. The burgers are yummy and the cheesy bacon fries are INCREDIBLE. The staff really do their best in order for their customers to have a good experience, which my family and I did! 👏🏽🍔😋

If you enjoy meat and/or burgers, then this is the place for you. Thier main items (which are burgers, if you couldn't infer that from the name) are high quality. The meat patty is juicy, the bacon is crispy, the sauces are amazing, the toppings are tasty, and the cheese is, well, cheese, which is good. Thier other food items while, not as good, are still great, such as the hotdog. They also have a good selection of drinks. They even have Jarritos and Arizonas in the fridge, which I think more restaurants should have. They also have wide selections of non-premade drinks, such as the root beer floats and the milkshakes with regular and exotic flavours, such as bubblegum and popcorn flavour (which is better than it sounds, trust me). And what review would be complete without mentioning the aesthetic. The decor is minimal, yet it still works well. The colours are pleasing and the place is quite clean. Everytime my family and I eat here, it's always a great experience. I eagerly await the next time I get to eat here again. Just be sure to get a napkin and roll down your sleeves before you eat, it's gonna get messy (unless you're my father who eats the burgers with a knife and fork lol).

Always a busy burger joint with very friendly staff. They have a wait to be seated board at the front like in restaurants but can co fusing as no one seems to wait and staff dont seem to follow up on those waiting either which is my only complaint if any. Burgers have ways been perfect, moist and juicy, soft toasted bun and fresh ingredients. Once visit the chicken was slightly dry but other than that it was good every other time. Huge selection of cold drinks and they have milkshakes than can be ordered. Very much an American themed burger restaurant. Staff seem to clean tables up straight away so hence its a cleaner restaurant too. Highly recommend Johnny's burgers if you have a craving for burgers and you are in the canningvale area.

Ordered last night and these are one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. It is a real shame that the meals (mini double cheesburgers for the kids) came with a small satchel of Simth's dried chips while the Down Undahh + bacon meals came with a miniature bucket of fries....were were left wanting after paying almost $90 for a meal.

We also tried the buffalo chicken burger which was full of flavor, but not that spicy. We waited a good while for our meal and the service could have been better, but the food was good! There's also American style milkshakes -yummm- and burger challenges upon notice. Overall, a great place!

A lot of options in the menu with an interesting 100 pound burger challenge included (must be booked a day before if you wanna take on the challenge). Burger I had was served with a ridiculous amount of lettuce. The chilli cheese fries was sub par as they were served with cold chips. Staff are friendly but looked a bit bored. Cool place. Been coming here for years when I don't just want a burger, but really want to indulge with a full-on meal with sides and a shake. Johnny is passionate about his creations and it shows through. The 2 new menu items are both winners - cheese bites very tasty, and the new 'Hot Mama' chicken burger lives up to its name - delicious and genuinely spicy (unlike the Chilli Chilli Bang Bang burger, which is actually quite mild, though still good). The shakes are pretty steep but they're good so I can never resist. If you're more into soft drinks then the selection available is huge.

Went there tonight with my mum and 2 sisters. Restaurant has a nice vibe, staff were happy and helpful and the food tasted quite good. The ordering procedure is very silly we were seated at a table and given menu's but the waitress didn't inform us that you do not order at the table you in fact have to get up and order at the counter which is quite annoying, awkward and difficult when you have a large party and everyone has an individual order so really the only way is for all of you to go back up together with the extremely large menu's in hand. Once at the counter it's very awkward knowing where to stand to place your orders as the line for take out and other people coming in is the same line so you feel like you're cutting in front of people who have waited, very silly and awkwardly designed way of ordering, it's also very loud at the counter with the kitchen right behind the server and the line behind you it's very hard to play the question and answer game with the person that's trying to take your order, I really don't understand why they give you menu's at the table if you do not order at the table it makes no sense whatsoever all the ordering issues could be easily solved by simply ordering at the table. The menus are far too big so big that they don't even fit on the table another very silly design it should be a nice normal sized book with pictures of every item on the menu the pictures are important especially when it comes to ordering burgers to determine how thick the meat is when trying to decide whether you want the single or double in the end you just have to guess and hope that you get it right because if you don't you'll have to get up and order again as well as whip out your wallet and pay again because you have pay before getting your food here yet another silly ordering procedure. Once food was served we quickly realised how everything tasted fantastic but was very difficult and messy to eat as we weren't given any utensils and there were none on the table besides couple of butter knives, the napkin situation was not strong either there were few in the same cup as the butter knives but not nearly enough for the messy adventure we were about to embark on. Again the food was great one downside to the food was all of our bacon was overcooked and hard as a rock. In the end It was a nice experience would definitely go again, I was tossing up between giving it 2 or 3 stars the food was good but all the other procedure issues really brought the experience down when it comes in the end I'm happy with giving them 3 star's because they offer unique western food that we don't get a lot of in Perth and it all tasted delicious.

There's many burger joints that I count on for being authentic as heck in Perth, but Johnny's is one of the best. I've been around the USA myself, and Johnny's burger patties are pretty much the closest thing I've had to a burger from a proper American burger joint. They get everything right here. They import Monterey Jack cheese (ya know, that orange stuff you see on American burgers), they use ketchup instead of Tomato Sauce (thicker and spicier than sauce), and they have really huge patties in comparison to their salads, which are always crisp and fresh. Usually, you can take on just a burger and be filled. Personally, I add a serving of their Waffle Fries to my order, as it reminds me of the good times I had back in 'merica. They even offer a selection of imported sodas, sweet teas and even import Coke from the states too! There's a definite taste difference between US and Aussie Coke, US Coke is richer, more flavourful and sweeter than ours. They bring in other stuff, like Dr. Pepper, Cherry Coke, A&W, and even some of the more obscure American sodas. You've Give 'em a try! Expect a wait for your burger. About 15-20mins. That's on par with American joints that make their patties in house. It's worth the wait! If you're looking for an experience that's close to Carl's Jr, Five guys or indeed any of the more upscale Burger places in the US, you've gotta give Johnny's a whirl. They're really doin' it right!

Great burgers. I had the Chilli burger with Chilli sauce and jalapeños - highly recommended if you like some spice in your burger. Staff are super friendly and service was quick. There aren’t many gourmet burger options in the area but this is definitely a good one.
