We visited on Sunday for lunch. No waiting. Pretty open and wide setting with individual rooms with one big round table inside. Friendly staff. Love the noodles with soup.

Large venue with very limited parking and very cool old style china chairs you see in old Hong Kong movies. Wish there was one or 2 flying sword fighters to liven up the place because this place has no atmosphere. To my taste this place doesn't work for me. It's big on meat and adding extras so it is a hit for some. The price isn't so bad either. It's average in taste and it's not bad. Just different type of Chinese food so if you aren't use to trying different types of Chinese flavours, this place is not for you. That is if want to taste what real Sichuan spice is try the spicy dishes here. What I am saying is the other Chinese restaurants that have Sichuan beef is most probably not the real deal. If you are curious by all means give it a try. Then you have something real to compare it too next time you eat the Sichuan beef at your local Chinese restaurant. There are 2 common types of peppercorns (red & green) but there can up to 4 varieties now if you include the Japanese and Korean ones. But I won't say I would come back to eat here.

I'm a regular customer of Kungfu-kitchen about for 6years. I always have a mini hotpot mild flavor. These days, mild flavor is not mild. It's tooooooooo spicy. I had to skim off this much of chili oil(an half of bowl). I don't know why it's changed but I think I have to have the mini hotpot next time 'less spicy'.

Definitely five star. If you are keen to try real Szechuan style Chinese dishes, try Kungfu kitchen. Reasonable price, easy ordering system, fast and friendly service. It's good to have someplace like this to dine in when you miss home food. Two of my favourites are mini hot pot and braised duck heads. 👌😄

We went there for SteamBoat on a cold day. Great food and they had a nice beer for $15 a jug as well. Service is always pretty prompt as they have the call bell service and the waitress are quite attentive to the calls. Depends on your liking, expect approx $40 pp for steam boat.

They offer a range of quality food which are not heavily rely on chef's skill, so quality stays stable. Reasonably spacious dinning area, private rooms are available, great surounding environment, good location. Booking is recommended as it can get very busy due to its popularity. Some of the staff members are nice, trying to be helpful despite the pressure. Thumb up! Only downside is onsite parking. Some car bays maybe available nearby.

Amazing food, pricing is good and the settings are nice. Hotpot was great but I wouldn't recommend the green pepper soup base as they put way too much peppercorn in there, we spent 5 minutes to take it all out or else it will just get stuck onto our food and it's hard to eat.

First time visit, friendly, helpful staff though using the i pad to search and order meal was not explained. Dishes and the place is very big. All Asian food, most of the food is spicy, only a few rice dishes. Not really suitable for people like me who can't eat spicy. That's why I only ordered fried rice, which was tasty. It's hard to go there on foot, especially if people are walking from Westfield Carousel.

Food was great. I came with a group of friends and there is no physical menu to look at apart from 1 ipad for the whole table. This makes the process of ordering food quite troublesome and long as have to wait for each person finish with the iPad. Also I have my very young kids with me and what is shown on the TV is inappropriate for kids (MA Rating). Not a suitable place to bring your little ones.

I'm a big fan of hot pot in general however the soup bases here are quite strong and probably something of an acquired taste. The spicy soup base was a culture shock being not only spicy but also very peppery! Mushroom soup base was the most normal tasting out of the non spicy ones but still somewhat on the herby side. There was plenty of options for meat, seafood and veges but the bill quickly mounts up after a few. I would revisit once in a while for a hot noodle soup but not for hot pot.

One of the best hotpot restaurants in Perth. It’s a great place to grab dinner with friends and family. The price is reasonable and they offer generous portion for the meals that you order. Whenever we have dinner at Kung Fu Kitchen, we always need to takeaway the leftover, you can imagine how huge the portion would be. I’ve actually been here for a few times and I always order the mushroom soup based, however, the taste seemed different during my most recent visit this week. It tasted more peppery and it’s quite spicy to me, I would prefer the original flavour with no addition of pepper. Other than that, the meat, squid balls, etc were still pretty tasty.

One of my favourite places to go for hot, spicy, garlic-y noodle soup dish. I always go for the mini hot pot as I am happy choosing the ingredients that go into my bowl as they're not as flexible with their noodle dishes. Love the home made drinks. Excellent and fast service. Clean and fresh. Kids friendly too. They would ask if you're sharing with the child and is aware of any allergies if mentioned.

Very friendly and promptly service. The food is delicious no wonder there's always a que in front of the restaurant. They don't take booking after 6pm. If you want to go enjoy the hotpot to warm you up or just simply do a noodle soup, you better go there before 530pm and you can beat the crowds. Love it. It's my family regular restaurant now!

A great experience with the food but not so much with other aspects. Where to start ? the queue for this place can drive you crazy but I assure you if you are craving for some Asian cuisine then Kung Fu possibly provides one the best in Perth. It has to do something with the delicious choices of soups for the hot pot. Most of ingredients are good but some of the choices are a bit underwhelming for me ( I am not an Asian so my complain is not a really valid point :D ) but to be fair whatever we had (wagyu slices, mushroom dishes, scallops) were all nicely paired up wit the sauces. My only complaint was the lack of service. Although I understand its a huge and busy place but then again staff aren't really invested to answer questions and try to provide a good service. Everything looks like to be done in rush. But overall a wonderful experience. I am not sure when will I be back but If I have to back for another round of Hotpot I Will come back here.

What a great change from the usual food and restaurants around the place. Great service, hot pot and food choices. I'll be going again. Pricing isn't bad either. A big meal for two with drinks cost $60 and we had leftovers to take home. Nice ambience with nice surroundings.

Great place for a hotpot in a cold days. They have a lot of broth selection to choose from and you can even mix your own sauce from a mini sauce bar with a lot of variety. Definitely worth trying at least once.

Having been here for around 6 months, i have to say that Kung Fu Kitchen serves some of the best food you can find in Perth. Prices are reasonable too. A whole bowl of noodles/rice at around $12-14. Service is prompt and fast. Food is served quickly. Really recommend it if you are looking for really good affordable Szechuan food that is comparable to food back home. Just make sure you don't choose the wrong dish! A bowl of seemingly innocent looking white soup may turn out to be a very spicy dish, while a bowl of redish soup may turn out to be a non-spicy dish. Ask the waiter if you're unsure! Nevertheless, it was a really good overall experience i had at the restaurant today.

Wonderful Sichuan dishes. A taste of China I've missed. Make sure you know what you're getting yourself into before you come here, no honey chicken or western Chinese specials here. Highly recommend the hot and sour soup with sweet potato noodles. Takes me right back to Chengdu. Cheers guys.
