Many take-away and dine in experiences from new and old premises - never any complaints!, food is always delicious and consistent, staff and owner really nice and helpful. Will always come back and recommend Lion Thai ☺️ As a vegetarian the red curry with tofu ++cashew nuts is always the best, if you can handle spice.

Husband and wife team, the wife does all the cooking. Its been over 7 years since we were last here, as we were in the area we called in as they have new premises. All the dishes were so good and really tasty. We were so glad we returned and we will be returning

This place really is a hidden gem. We often get takeaway from here and it never disappoints. Great food and good portion sizes. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the new restaurant looks great.

Owners Nick and Tukta have brought the 'Flavour of Thailand' to our doorstep and we can't get enough. We now live walking distance to Lion Thai and couldn't be happier. We try different dishes and haven't been disappointed yet. We definitely have our favourites. See you again on Wednesday!

So yummy and fresh ingredients! Caters to vegans, the tofu was so flavoursome in the tofu salad, they know how to season tofu properly 👌 all round great value highly recommend. Definitely coming back 😊

However, I wanted to do a review because of the new location, Love the new restaurant, now the noise level is lower., much better. Food !!! Delicious food, had Chicken Pad Thai and Spring Rolls. Pad thai was just mouth watering with very fresh chicken and very good quantity. Spring rolls were awesome too and the sauce/dip they came with.

Very popular so would suggest booking a table for an evening dining experience. Dishes are generous without being huge, and very tasty. Careful not to order too much rice, the portions are massive! It's BYO as an added bonus.

Staff were really friendly and they let us in even though it was almost closing time. The food tasted amazing and we didn't have to wait long for the food to be served. The manager/owner even went around to ask customers if they needed anything.

This place is awesome. I have traveled extensively in Thailand and this place has the best Thai food I have eaten in Australia. Prices are fair and the food and service is genuine. Do your self a favour and give it a try. If you look at my other reviews you will notice I'm a fussy bastard with high expectations, so I don't rave about places lightly.

Just found this little place and wow, wow and wow theres no place like it for the authentic Thai food and fresh seafood to, the service from a family own business is outstanding. Prices are really good and food amazing makes Bangkok brothers in whifords and Mr chows look like a McDonald's store in food quality. I recommend this to anyone that likes hight standards in food quality.

We are regular visitors to Lion Thai and we have always found the food to be fresh, tasty and authentic. The flavours are lovely, I have my favourite, Tamarind Fish, but my husband likes to try something different every time we go and he hasn't found anything he doesn't like. The servings are generous and the pricing makes it excellent value. The manager, Nick, is friendly and helpful. We often take friends and they always enjoy it too, several of them have also become regular customers. We have recommended Lion Thai to many people and we will continue to be regular customers.

Lion Thai is in my opinion, the North's best in Thai curry place. With a great variety in vegetable selection, the food is as good as it is fragrant. It does come with a bit of a hefty price but worth the experience.

Everytime I eat Thai food I always order the Som Tum and judge a restaurant by how well it is lol I have to say this was the best Som Tum I've had so far! I'm so happy to have found a nice quiet thai place near home. Now all I'm expecting for next time is Thai ice milk tea ;)

The Phanang Curry with fish, was absolutely phenomenal, sweet and spicy!, and the honey prawns and coconut prawns for entrees were exceptional, also had the Roti and ice cream for dessert, could not fault these dishes 9/10
