One of the best all round dining experiences I have had in Perth! The service was top notch, the lady who looked after us was energetic, passionate about the food and super helpful. The food combinations were surprising, creative and absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to come back & try more of the dishes!

Had a great dinner here on our first night in Perth. Everything was delicious, we shared the popadum plate, bhajis, cauliflower salad, and had chicken tikka and fish curry. I left feeling fat, with some leftovers in containers to go in the fridge for the next day. Nice selection of cocktails too

Fantastic restaurant. I couldn't believe delicious each dish was as every one has its own distinct flavours. We had ordered the chef's special which took the hard work out of deciding on what to get. O wow tucked away down quiet Bannister St just off the Cappuccino strip. Well worth the detour away from the Freo regular restaurants. Everything we had was delicious, a modern twist on an Indian theme. Drinks were expertly mixed (smooth and delicious). Add an eclectic mix of Freo Locals and you have a night to remember.

My partner and I had the most amazing dinner date night at Lions and Tigers recently! I had heard this venue was something special so booked in advance for our little staycation in Freo. The food was amazing and the staff equally so! The recommendations on food and drinks were on point. We sat upstairs which at one stage of the night got a bit too noisy for my liking, but maybe that is just because I'm a bit too old for that level of vibrancy! ;) I have to put in a special mention and huge thank you to our gorgeous and attentive waitress, Cherry. Thank you for making our night even more lovely. :)

Absolutely sensational! Beautiful decor, beautiful food. We had a group of 8 so were automatically put on the Chef's Choice menu. I was a little worried we'd get tiny, fine dining portions but we left very satisfied- not stuffed and not hungry, just the right amount of full. The creativity with flavours and presentation was fantastic. Dinner was not just sharing a meal- it was a whole experience. The wait staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. This restaurant is absolutely awesome. The food and cocktails are sublime, the atmosphere is cosy, buzzy but easy going, and the staff are next level great. They are friendly, helpful and bubbly, and know the menu inside out. There are heaps of vegan options, and not just lame token dishes, but top level plant-based dishes, that will delight non vegans and vegans alike. It’s one of those rare places you can take non vegans and they’ll get food envy.

Have been hearing about this place for ages, and as Duck Duck Bruce is my favourite Freo breakfast spot, I couldn’t wait to try it. Eventually managed to get it organised for a Saturday at the end of June!! (Lucky - because we went into lockdown again the following Monday) It did not disappoint! Right from my first interaction with Woody, when booking, it’s clear that their customers’ happiness is absolutely their first priority. This flowed through to the service on the night. Without exception the staff are friendly and welcoming. They seem very happy in their work and show that they love having you there (I’m not surprised though, as it’s the same at DDB). It’s such a refreshing change to attitudes in some other Perth/Freo restaurants. The food also completely lived up to expectations - Indian with a modern twist. It was all absolutely delicious. We chose the Chefs Menu, and the food just kept on coming! We thought we’d finished - and then the mains arrived!! Thanks to Woody and all your team for creating such a great dining experience. My partner and I had an early dinner here last Tuesday night after a rather unpleasant experience at another restaurant nearby. We left there without having even being offered a drink. We took a chance that we'd get a table considering it was early...and we did. We were greeted with so much warmth and friendliness with sustained good service despite the restaurant filling up fast. The food....wow the food was sooo good. My top three of the five dishes we had were the bhajis, the naan bread and the side salad! The more substantial meals were fab too..but the sides were just so bloody good I could have gladly stuffed my face with them 😁 great drink selection and as I said, impeccable service. Oh my God! Words cannot explain the flavours and textures we just experienced here, Wandering through Fremantle looking for a bite at 9pm on a Thursday, and this Absolute Gem pops up! Hidden away on Bannister St, this place is a Restaurant, a real Restaurant, expert wait staff, open Kitchen so you can see the Chef(s) perfect lighting, and the food, did I mention the food yet? Highly recommend this one, we will be going back again and again now we know it exists 😋

Went today for the first day of their all day brunch. I had the chickpea waffles with sous vide eggs and smoked ghee hollondaise. It was delicious and served with a heap of crispy sweet salty bacon which was perfect. Place was packed and despite the fact it was literally the first morning of this new menu service was quick. Highly recommend one of the Bloody Mary's to cut through the richness of the eggs and hollondaise. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Been three times now, and fantastic each time. The only thing is sometimes we have to wait for cocktails a little longer. Otherwise, the food is absolutely fabulous. We've done the $56 chef's choice each time. WOW, factor every time. If you are expecting larger portions you might be disappointed. Although between my partner and I we have always been plenty full after leaving. I love that the menu changes ever so slightly each time we visit. The owner is very pleasant. I love watching the kitchen staff working hard in the back ground. Love, love, love the decor. Everyone is very friendly. I absolutely don't mind spending the extra for an exceptional experience like this one. xox

After being recommended by an acquaintance to dine here, the better half & I decided to book for our wedding anniversary. Even though it was a rainy night, upon arrival, the establishment was heaving with punters whom seemed to be enjoying their dining experience. After briefly going over the menu, we decided to have a crack at “the less reading, more good times” option. It was definitely the way to go. First to arrive was the papadums with a delightful yogurt accomplishment, tasty chutney & picked vege. Second to make way to our table was the not your average bahji’s which were delicious along side the saag paneer, winter greens, pomegranate, cashew cream with naan bread, magnificent. The almond & fenugreek masala, sauteed kale, roast chilli oil with chicken tikka was the standout for me but the rice that came with it was OK, not that warm & a bit gluggy. The dessert was probably the least favourite, still enjoyable to eat but very rich in texture. All in all it was an amazing dining experience. PROS: attentive & friendly waitresses, generous portions, solid tap beer options, lively atmosphere CONS: Small rice portions which was a bit gluggy & not enough of the delicious naan bread.

Fantastic meal, we were lucky enough to get in from a walk in on a Saturday night. But we did go early and saw many people turned away later in the evening. We sat near the bar and were treated to excellent customer service and delicious food. Hands down the snapper curry was the star of the night. Then to follow two mains between us, first up was the wagyu beef which was excellent and well cooked.... I’m being a little picky by saying it was a little in the small side. The fish curry was exception with a complex flavour and well presented... again being picky, the plain boiled rice was over cooked and then dried out.... tiny issue but they were very busy. Beer menu was ok ( schooners 😡) perhaps a couple more to choose from would be nice , wine menu looked great but only a beer night. Lastly as we were still a little hungry we had the sticky date to share 👌 All up $112 ( inc two beers ) Fair price and fantastic food, we will be back and will recommend them to others 👍

A branch of the amazing Duck Duck Bruce with the same outstanding team running L&T. This place is absolutely incredible!!! The food is consistently superb, always changing, but always with freshness and an abundance of flavours and spices. As a Goan myself, the Indian style food with inventive twists was very authentic, yet presented neatly, thoughtfully, and delicious all the way. The sourdough naan with ghee is an absolute MUST have, completely unexpected explosion of flavour, almost like a donut with soft creamy butter, YUMMM!! Definitely will be back to support one of Fremantle's best eateries along with my regular DDB fix. Props to all the staff as well, who take care of every customer and know their menus inside out.

Another new favourite! Being a big fan of Duck Duck Bruce we thought we would come here for brunch on Sunday morning. Overall nice place. We went for the feed me option for $35 sharing the below: The first dish - 2 fried "onion bhaji" were too salty Next came the "smoked lamb tartare" which was to die for! Followed by a nice "Alia’s cream soaked paneer" & papadum Main was "Kerrigan Valley beef chuck" & with small "Keralan green Bean salad" and jasmine rice. The small salad was refreshing, the curry we both felt like adding salt to. Last came the amazing "‘Steve’ our signature sourdough Naan" No dessert is offered with this option. NOW everyone is a critic! we somehow felt some dishes nailed it and some were die hard. It's as if our tastebuds had been accustomed to simple food (take the curry) while attempting bold new recipes with high quality ingredients can turn sour. I would still recommend it to friends.
