We had finished playing music at The Guildford (7pm) and decided to get something to eat as we were famished. We were able to get a table seeing as though we hadn’t booked, ordered a couple of delicious red wines and both of us had spaghetti marinara. It wasn’t the best that we have had but nonetheless we were hungry. Went to pay and the friendly staff member that greeted us kindly asked , “how was everything “, so we answered her question. We felt that the meal was too salty and lacked spice. We were happy to pay for what we had and go ( not looking for a discount at all), however the employee showed empathy and decided she would talk to management/supervisor to see what could be arranged. We encountered a rude and blunt manager ( I think). She said “ well I just cleared your table and you’ve clearly finished your meals” ( which at that stage we reiterated that we were asked how our meals were and we were simply giving our feedback). The manger then spoke to the employee explaining that nothing could be done. We paid the bill and left and we will never be back!! We have worked in hospitality for a long time ourselves and this certainly could have been dealt with in a totally different manner which would/could have resulted in us returning. Something to think about for future reference. We have since been contacted by management in which the situation was handled professionally and promptly and was very much appreciated

Three of us had dinner at Locale Mio last night, and it was a great experience! Very welcoming and very attentive. We ordered a few tapas to share, and it was well-seasoned with decent portion. Will definitely return! :)

Locale Mio was a last minute reservation for a family lunch. Definitely recommend for family outings and even if you have young kids - it's a children friendly environment. Or if you'd like a girl's lunch out. We had gluten free pizza, scallops, salad and baby goat. The mocktails were refreshing. And the vibe of the place was of an authentic Italian place.

Locale Mio - my first visit to this restaurant. Situated behind the pub, with a shared parking lot, this place is a delight if you love pizza, pasta and tapas. I ended up ordering "pedro's special" pizza (Italian sausage, porchini mushrooms & truffle) which smelled and tasted delicious- but massive! I could only eat half so lunch tomorrow is organised! I think this was the priciest pizza at $31..prob due to truffle. Most others I think were cheaper. Pastas on average were mid $20's. Very tasty food. Happy, friendly, engaging staff. Willing to split the bill - no issues at all (we had a group of 9 mums). Very happy with my Locale Mio experience.

We had lunch here for the first time yesterday. What a nice little secret place that we discovered by accident. We found the service of the staff to be outstanding. They were super efficient and friendly. We selected a variety of tapas style dishes, all of which were really nice. The only criticism we really had was for $21, you only got four prawns in one of the dishes which seems a bit unreasonable. It cost us $100 exactly, for a considerable amount of dishes and three glasses of wine. We will definitely be going back soon as there were many menu items which we would like to try which we did not have the stomach capacity to indulge in yesterday! I would definitely recommend this location for a great lunch or dinner and they also do breakfast. We didn’t get a pizza this time but we saw lots of people ordering and they looked delicious and massive!

This restaurant is like a slice of home. The waitstaff are all so friendly and chatty, even happy to converse in Italian. I've been twice now with my father and even with how chatty he is, they always have the time to carry a conversation and make his night. In terms of the food, everything was cooked to perfection. All of the seasoning was spot on and came in very good portions. Maybe it's a bit pricey, but that doesn't mean it's overpriced, I think you definitely get what you're paying for. Amazing hospitality is part of what you're paying for, as it heightens the meal by so much along with the authenticity. The experience, the food and the drinks all come together to form a perfect night out at Locale Mio. I'd love to come again, I think it's a great place for birthday dinners, anniversaries or even just after work drinks. If i could give it more than 5 stars, I would 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We just received our food delivered by uber eats - the entire order was absolutely revolting. Under cooked prawns on our pizza, both pizzas under cooked in general and soaking in grease. The worst arancini I've ever had - you had no business calling them that. Disgusting. Rating for visibility only.

From a beautiful Italian greeting to last drink before leaving we could not fault anything. The owner , Salvatore made our night , especially for my brother inlaw the best in a long while . The flavors where perfect. From the Bruscetta Italiano. The scallopine just melted in your mouth . We also tried the black ink Tempura calamari with garlic aioli for something different and it tasted great . Cooked perfectly. Next was the Salsiccia can Peperoni Arrostiti , yum . Too finish off we ordered two pizzas, Calabrese and a Carne . Was great watching the cook do his work at the pizza oven. Both hit the spot . Wines where Vino Rosso Fella Casa and a organic Italian wine Lamura Nero D'avola and both hit the pallet perfectly. Liquor to die for was the Disaronno Amaretto . Which we finished the bottle between us . This was probably one of our best nights out.

I attended Locale Mio yesterday with a large group. We did the $60 package and everything was outstanding. The food, service and drinks were all great. The highlights for me were the scallops, gnocchi and beef carpaccio. Highly recommended and I'm already planning next visit.

What a wonderful experience! We hadn't made a booking being a busy Friday evening, yet the staff welcomed us with a big smile and managed to find us a table for two in between bookings. Average Italian food. Cocktails need to be better, disappointed. They stress their italianalese but the term tapas is not Italian, which makes up third of their menu. You should use an Italian term to reference this part of the menu -- suggestion

Everything was outstanding. Our first visit to Locale Mio and definitely won't be our last! The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly! The Mango cocktail I had was also very good! It is pricely but after you try the food there's no denying it's worth! The restaurant had amazing staff, friendly and assertive. Can't wait to take my family next time. Incredible food!!!!!!!! Has a variety of all different foods. Traditional dishes and some added with a slight modern twist. Great atmosphere and service. Be sure to book ahead if your going on the weekend they get booked up pretty quick. If you eat there you'll know why.

I've been to 'My Local' a few times now, and each time its been excellent. The service is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the restaurant itself is cutely decked out. The food is always delicious. Their sliced steak tastes like my nonna in Italy used to cook for me when I was little. The best food always evokes fond memories. Great work guys, keep it up. :)

This is without a doubt one of my most favorite Italian restaurants in Perth to eat at. Salvatore the owner always comes to personally see we are enjoying ourselves and everything is good and the waitstaff cannot do enough to assist and keep the diners happy. Just....... WOW! Drive past this restaurant all the time and it is always bustling. Thought we’d give it a try last night and ordered some takeaway. BEST spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried many). So full of flavour and loved the zucchini patties. The lady who took our order over the phone was friendly and efficient. Overall, a fantastic, satisfying and enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back for more.

It was our first take away dinner from Locale Mio and the first time since lockdown that this amazing place had been opened. The guys haven’t missed a beat! Amazing atmosphere and welcoming staff make you feel like you’re walking into Nona and Nono’s home. I can’t wait to come back and actually have a table service dinner. The pizza (Capricciosa) is legitimately one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten outside of Italy. Fresh and tasty Gnocchi is always a win too. Grazie staff and welcome back! We’ve missed you. I didn’t love this place, prices are expensive and food is average. $24 for a small bowl of pasta that was nice but nothing special. Don’t get the squid it’s deep fried black (I’m not sure what the batter was) looked terrible and tasted poor. Service was ok and venue nice with lots of parking.

We chose this as our first restaurant to experience following the restrictions being lifted after Covid19 and it was worth every little tasty morsel. This is by far the best Italian in Perth and we loved the authentic tapas style of dining. The service is amazing (generally greeted by the smiling and friendly owner), the crew are knowledgeable and happy to offer suggestions if you are not familiar with tapas style dining. They handled the restrictions extremely well. I wanted to keep how good it is a secret but I feel it would be an injustice to all the foodies out there. There wasn’t a crumb left on any of our plates. The waitress and barman (for those non drinkers out there the free falling mocktail is Divine!) were also super friendly plus the service was immaculate and quick. The crew as a team seemed to work well together always keeping an eye out to ensure service standards were kept high. The cider porchetta for savoury and the pannacotta for dessert are my personal faves (so many compliments to the chef on all dishes though!) but my husband couldn’t choose a fave, he simply noted he was glad the restaurant was so close to where we live so we can make visits more often! For the quality of food I believe it to be well priced and the servings are just right for tapas. Perhaps some will see it as on the expensive side but this is not your average Italian, it’s a home cooked style - perfected family recipe - lots of care and explosion of flavours type of Italian and I believe you’ll find it worth every penny and more. Love it and will most definitely be back again and again! Thank you.

Visited for the first time on Monday night. My kids took me out for dinner for my birthday. We had a table for 7- the staff were so attentive and the customer service outstanding. The fitout is lovely, the pizza oven a work of art and thank you, THANK you for getting the lighting right! It's so good not to be blinded by bright downlights when eating! Could not fault the food and we had a variety at our table. Pasta dishes (REAL authentic italian pasta!), pizza's, calzones, roast octopus, salads and the $10 Spritz' were a hit too!🍸 We will definitely be back!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful Italian restaurant. Quality food, wine and staff. The only drawback for me was the noise level due to concrete floors, walls, ceilings. This restaurant is a real find ! Everything about it from the service to the atmosphere to the food was spot on. We loved every single dish and took the advice of the very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff and tried four different tapas dishes and shared a main. Each dish was stunning. The zeppole calabrese was our standout dish although the pork was amazingly yum too. Locale Mio restaurant gives you a great party in your mouth!

The best Italian In perth I have ever been to without a doubt, I have steered clear of most Italian places in recent years due to really bad quality and lots of oil. This place here is now the only exception, warm and cosy place and staff make you welcome and are very polite, this is a testament to Sal and shows the involvement he has in his business. Sal will quiet often sit you down to your table and have a chat, very humble man! Makes you feel at home! And the food is next level, from the entrees and tapas to the desert and drinks!
