We went for spicy mini pork knuckles, non-spicy pork knuckles and gu-poo noodles. My little one love non spicy version. Me and my husband love spicy one. It was so good! However he couldn't finish it because it was too spicy for him. If you can't eat spicy food... then never think about to try this 🤣

Hi just another review on this restaurant and the corner of William street. I would say that their food taste good but there’s a little more to improve and the use of ingredients as well. Their service is quite nice and friendly. Would rate this as a medium price restaurant and the selections is quite a lot. Great place to go for Korean BBQ! The produce is so fresh and of high quality especially the beef and seafood is exceptional. The staff is also very helpful, attentive and friendly. The set up and interior is all new and pretty nice. Great place to go socialise with friends while having good food. Only thing that could be better is an extended alcoholic beverage menu.

I really wanted to try the bossam but they don't allow it upstairs unless you order 2 serves! 😔 I settled for the marinated kbbq set and a bibim naengmyeon. Flavours were standard. Nothing was too wow. Will have to come back to try that bossam next time.

The spicy pork braised is the winner of our meal last night. The korean BBQ upstairs was okay. We ordered the 80 beef set for the BBQ and overall was just okay. I would say the price is quite pricey for the small portion they have. The cooked dishes from downstairs however was delicious! Will definitely come back for the meal downstairs.

Excellent customer service; we did not have a booking for the night, the manager asked about the length of stay and if we are willing to eat fast. Sure enough the manager organised and informed us 20 minutes wait for a table. The place is loud could hardly hear our own conversation. Food is very good and the staff is kindly enough to recommend serving size and dishes to us. The pricing is medium to high.

맛있고 직원분들 넘 침절하세요🥰 Had a super duper heavy dinner yesterday. Was my first visit here and totally satisfying. As lots of other customers already reviewed, yeah Korean food here is genuinely authenthic and reminds me of memories back in Korea. If you are a meatatarian who also enjoys veggies, you'll definitely love here. We were 3 girls but ordered set menu no.4 which includes 3 different types of pork dishes and 2 noodles and soft tofu(this one was a great appetizer). Owing to friendly and kind staffs, the dinner was even better :) This won't be our last visit surely.

Went in to try the Bossam & Gupo noodle soup. Ok bossam which was fairly tender but eventually became a bit chewy since they didn’t have warm plate under the pork. The noodle soup was pretty bland (we’ve put all the sauce they provided) and had no deep anchovy flavour where the traditional one always has. Also, had a small bottle of sake and ordered it cold but the sake came out lukewarm. I think they could do it much better with a bit more attention to details.

Unfortunately the drink menu is very small and beer especially is way over priced and not having split billing which is a huge con turned an easy 4/5 to a 3.

Whenever I have a craving for authentic Korean cuisine, I visit Marubang along William St in Northbridge. I love the pork dishes. My 3 faves are the Jokbal (Pork Hoc), the Bossam (Pork Belly) & the Kimchi seafood pancake. Friendly staff and excellent service. I have brought many friends and family there and no one has been disappointed yet.

They have the best Wagyu tataki here. The Wagyu is always so fresh and the yolk and sauce makes it so creamy in your mouth . And it also comes with plenty of crispy seaweed cracker that goes perfect with the tataki and apple slices. Love love it

cool place, interesting and tasty food, good service. i don't think this is for everyone though, their menu is fairly limited and it doesn't have a lot of the typical korean favourites (bulgogi, bibimbap, jigae etc). price is reasonable but not particularly cheap. we got the pork hock and pork belly (bossam) combination and the serving was larger than we were expecting. nice!

I'd like to give high rates of satisfaction with not only food quality but also food quantity from Marubang. My wife and I ordered a set menu which was jokbal+salad+2 bowls of noodle soup for only 60 bucks. Personally I am not a big fan of pork as I find it has bit strong smell, it was beautifully cooked with their secret as i couldnt smell make me stop eating pork! If you want foodgasm of unique korean style, you must go here :))

We tried the KBBQ side upstairs for the first time. Overall the meat was average in Beef SET A - some cuts better than others (marinated rib was good), but the grill was incredibly SLOW. It took nearly 30 minutes to cook the pork belly…. so if you’re hungry, I would not recommend. Considering the abundance of great KBBQ spots across Perth, I probably won’t return.
