This pizza was amazing. It was a true LARGE not like ones sold elsewhere. Loads of Topping, delicious organic base. The garlic bread was real and also a good size. Highly Recommend.

Delicious food with really fresh tasting ingredients and no greasy mess to deal with. Great prices, excellent service plus a spacious, clean dining area. After dining in a few times and having the same experience every time, I definitely recommend coming here.

The best piece of fish I’ve had in a long while. This is a new fish and chip shop that has opened up in Clarkson, just behind the Bunnings. I had a generous piece of battered Barramundi. The batter was crispy but not too oily. The fish was perfectly cooked and not dry at all. It was delicious and I will definitely be going back there again. They also do other seafood as well as meat boxes from the (kebab cooker), along with Goslem. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing pizza! Great chips and great portion sizes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cheeky dinner. 🤌👍

We have beeen eating the delicious fish and chips from Merchant's for over a year now and never been disapointed. Everyone I talk to agrees with me. I have watched the pizza machine installed and finally comissioned a few months ago. Just finished eating one of their Mexicana's and was not very happy. We have eaten pizzas from the usual mob (dominos, pizza hut etc) and I must say Merchant's come a sad last. Crust has very dry, toppings were minimal and the taste, not at all flavourfull. I understand that there are pizza shops and then there are pizza shops but for the price I expected a little bit better - maybe I caught them on a bad night.

WOW.. legitimately the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Love the fact that I ordered 4 fish and chips and it came separately I four containers.They did not throw a certain amount of chips in paper and leave the fish on top as per other useless fish outlets. It was packaged perfectly. Can’t believe I only paid 10.50 for what I got. Will definitely be back. Hope you guys stick around.

We’d seen this fish n chips store from Clarkson Maccas drive thru and thought we’d give it them a try. Very happy. The chips were cooked very well, not dry nor overly greasy. Generous pieces of fish. And all the little extras (prawns, calamari etc) that come in the $32 box were tasty. The little salads were a simple, yet welcome addition. Comfortably fed 2 adults and 3 kids under 10.

A++ . After being not very happy with my other local F & C shop ,I thought that I would try these guys ( Merchant Seafood Cafe ). The menu has been on my notice board for probably 6 mths or more and I am asking myself WHY did I wait so long ? Great Food , cooked to perfection and the Merchant Frenzy pack fed a family of 4 with way to much left over ( will try a different pack next time 🙂 ) I Highly recommend this cafe. Good Food cooked well Good Service Immaculate presentation in the shop. These guys have done their homework and are applying the lessons in a spectacular way

A really good fish and chips! We always go to Peters by the Sea in Scarborough, however it was too far for us to go there today. We have seen this place while buying maccas across the road and being surprised to find a fish and chips at the back of the Clarkson, we decided to give this a go today. Not disappointed at all. Fresh fish with very light batter and a good chips that doesn't have typical oily taste. Definitely recommended

What can I say? We are so spoilt in this area for quality take away and Merchant lifts the bar a little higher. The fish we had was sensational, two grilled, one battered - all 3 stunning. Beautifully thick, juicy, flakey, meaty pieces. No mush, no thin, dried out traces. Sensational. The dim Sims were really good also, perfect! Being fussy, I prefer my chips a little more browned, crunchy but they complimented our meal so well. Staff/owners are lovely, easy to talk to people, but they weren't busy, but I bet they are next time I visit. Which won't be long. Thanks guys!

Called in to place an order. Was ready on time and the staff was super friendly. The fish was delicious and not as oily as take away fish usually are. Portion sizes are generous and the packaging is great. The fresh lemon pieces and tartare sauce in the box was a nice surprise! Will definitely go back.
