Funky interior with wow factor food. A step up from your usual small diner. Service was a little clunky but not awful. Tiger on tap was great. Highly recommend.

First impressions are so so. I came here after work before dinner rush thinking I'd be safe to get takeaway without having to wait long... unfortunately was wrong.. order took 40 minutes. I ordered Beef noodles and a salad, both were average taste so that didn't help either. (The restaurant wasn't full, only 3 tables were seated.. ) Also - the place is located on a main street so parking is not always guaranteed.

Just had dinner at Mimosa Kitchen tonight, and it was a great dinning experience. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. All the dishes were tasty and good portion. However, the diced beef isn’t really “diced” beef but more sliced, and the meat wasn’t trimmed so we did get a few gristles. Overall, we actually enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Will definitely come back and possibly bring some more people with us so we can try all the dishes.

The Bun Bo Xao was very nice and fresh. It was nicely plated and packed with fresh veggies and grilled beef accompanied with crispy spring rolls. It was a wonderful lunch and the restaurant ambience is pretty pleasant and clean.

Very efficient service, nice dacore, and good food. A bit more creative than the usual fair of Phó like in most other places. Reasonably priced. I'd recommend the Phó here tho as their noodles were so fresh and springy! And the creme brulee is sublime.

From the street Mimosa Kitchen is, well, secretive but you'd be bonkers not to make a booking or walk in. Lovely intimate and predominantly run by grand women this joint offers fresh, invigorating and tasteful authentic cuisine. We loved it. We will go back. 5 stars, easy.

Could not fault the food, was delicious. Beautiful flavours. We did a few share plates and that worked really well with a combo of mimosa rice paper rolls, cabbage salad and crunchy seafood rice. Very good options for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters alike. Only down side was no cocktails. Adequate beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks menu.

Fantastic atmosphere. Delicious food. Great prices and friendly waiters. Sitting in this restaurant there's a great atmosphere and set up well for a good comfortable meal. Ordered vegetarian tofu curry, and ginger caramelised chicken with steamed rice. Flavours were pronounced, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent service. Cute little shop. Would have give it 4.5 star if Google have that option. The prawn salad entree qas good but not excellent. As a Vietnamese the pancake we had was the best we tried in Perth. Definitely will come back.

One of the fanciest Vietnamese restaurants we've ever been to! Our waitress was not very friendly, but the delicious food pretty much made up for it! The surprise find was the Vietnamese chicken curry (Cari Ga), which had very well-balanced flavours that I really enjoyed. They do a nice bowl of pho for $13, and some pretty reasonably-priced cocktails too!

You need to keep getting up from your table to ask for drinks, napkins etc..Tables and chairs are very tight as the person behind you is actually touching you making it difficult to move around the room to go and ask for drinks etc

My wife and I randomly chose this restaurant not expecting anything and hadn't ever purposely chosen to go out to dine Vietnamese. When we previously have eaten anything that was Vietnamese it was just some sort of spring rolls or other little dishes so we took the "eat like a Viet " option which includes 3 courses and a glass of wine or beer. They happily gave us a glass of sparkling wine instead of the other options on request. We had as an Entre an Omlette that had some seafood and pork as well as some bits of veggies in it that was served with a small bowl of sauce/broth thingy and some lettuce leaves . We were told that you cut up the Omlette wrap it in lettuce, dip it in the broth thingy- so yummie! (didn't think an Omlette could taste so good) As the main a chicken dish and a pork dish - both great and served with rice Desert was 2 dishes one with some coconutty sauce and rice, the other something also coconut and sesame in it also really good. Well overall it's definitely not going to be the last visit, I'll will return, this place is deserves recommendations.

Certainly deserves more attention. Not sure about the dinner time but our launch visit was relatively quiet. Perhaps a more appearing shop front might help ? Idk ! However, they have one of the best decors I have seen in a Vietnamese restaurant. On top of that, what’s on offer on menu is not your typical Vietnamese cuisine choices, rather they more faithful to choices that are popular in Vietnam but not here. The food is certainly different but it does not disappoint. Great presentation, lovely staff and fresh and yummy food.

Great experience. Ordered a banh xeo and a pho. The banh xeo / Vietnamese omelette with squid and prawn was beautifully presented and tasted great. The pho veggies were fresh and the meatballs were alright. The soup leant on the sour end. I think it’s just their take on pho broth. They do charge a surcharge for card. Use Eftpos if you need to use a card. Jock and Andy you’d change your mind about possibilities of Vietnamese fine dining if you pop by.

I ordered the Cari Ga and they kindly made it vegetarian for me. It was so delicious I almost melted into my chair. My partner got the caramelised chicken and it was a winner too. Hands down! one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever been to. I am personally not familiar with the cuisine but a friend of mine encouraged us to it as he said they have stuff that other's don't sell and Its probably true, Havent seen a menu like this. I ordered Caramelised meat and boy it was well beyond what I had expected. Personally I was never into Vietnamese food but this place changed my mind. (also the place is very neat, clean & Nice)

It’s been long time since I have been impressed by a restaurant in Perth. I love the way which they decorated and designed the restaurant. It’s chic, vibrant, and rustic, which made me feel very comfortable and relax while I was enjoying my meals. Staffs are so freaking friendly, attentive, and great advice on the food choices. “ Bun Dau Mam Tom” is amazing flavoured. It is exactly like the taste of “Bun Dau Mam Tom” in my country (Vietnam). Btw, will be back soon. Hope to see you guys again

Really like the food here. Have been a couple of times now and both times was great. A good variety of food is offered, all with very good taste and flavour. The staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful and if you forget your BYO they are licensed. A place worth visiting

I went to Mimosa Kitchen last night as it was one of only a few places open on a Monday night and the food looked amazing online. I was a little worried as then menu was brief however the chefs specials had heaps of additional options. We ended up ordering a few share plates - you cannot go to Mimosa without having the spring rolls - very similar to the nem I had in Vietnam, I would also highly recommend the omelette and the lemongrass beef! I will be back next trip to Perth!

(If you want the summary skip to to bottom) I ordered the normal pho with sliced beef and beef balls and the tumeric rice paper rolls at 5:50pm ish so an early dinner, and the person I was with ordered the Vietnamese chicken curry. While we were waiting for our food I saw what I suspected to be my bowl of pho being heated in the microwave in plain sight. (I mean if your going to heat my food up in the microwave atleast hide it from me) When we got our food the curry and rice paper rolls were mediocre but the pho's broth was very light(not much flavour) and my noodles were cooked as if they had been heated up in the microwave. (Coincidence I think not) but not really any other complaints about the food, though it is a bit pricey. The service was more than satisfactory, they were very attentive. I think that during the day the standard of food may be higher than at night. Overall the meal wasn't very enjoyable for me, but the decor of the restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing and the service was nice. I would try mimosa's kitchen again but maybe for lunch.

We have been trying to find a nice place for pho in Perth, Mimosa Kitchen is the one. The noodle soup (pho) flavour is authentic, the place is clean and cozy, the chicken salad is fresh and yummy, and it has my favourite drink- Iced Vietnamese coffee! Must try!

Between us we had (mind the spelling): - Banh Xeo (x2) - Bo Loc Luk - Mimosa Plate - Thit Kho - Tumeric Rice Paper Rolls (x3) - Spring rolls - Chicken wing boomerangs - Crunchy style chili fried rice with seafood - Grilled tiger prawn salad AND EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! I can not rate Mimosa highly enough. I had been there twice a month ago and thought it was pretty special. Went again today after two weeks in Vietnam staying with a friend's family and I feel qualified to say their food really is genuine, tasty and authentic home style Vietnamese. Couple that with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, what more could you want? I also rate their Phở better than any I had in Saigon, Cần Thơ or Tân An! My final word... just go and eat there, your mouth will love you for the rest of your life!
