Let me start by saying I’m not English, so I rate fish and chips a little harder than those that eat it more than once a week. This place makes the best fish and chips like no other in the area. Don’t ask me how, but their fish is super fresh, battered perfectly and their chips are thick cut, crunchy and fresh. Not soggy and cold like some of the others I’ve had in the area. The gravy, holy gravy gods. Thick, rich and super tasty. Amazing quality and you can tell they love what they do as it’s in every freshly cooked and wrapped parcel of heaven. I might become English to talk to the locals about ‘back ohm’ Absolutely love it.

Amazing black pudding and chips. The black pudding has a nice spice profile. I loved it! Big portions too (3.5 slices of black pudding) and a huge serve of chips which I struggled to finish -- but I did! It wasn't greasy at all and the chips were so perfectly fresh and crispy. I have since tried their battered sausage and their fish and have been happy each time.

The fish was so nice . I just ordered a fish and chips so it was the house fish . It was way nicer than any of the other shops iv tried around here . Super white flesh and nice and fresh . Not that awful Hoki you get at some . I’ll be back

Great food. Fish is good quality, none of that white goo that some sell. Chips are cooked just right and a large serving. They sell corn jacks. A must try. Service is great as well.

Hubby said the fish was nice, spring roll is ok but nothing to shout about. Tastes like frozen deep fat fried chips rather then fresh, so that's a shame.

This chip shop is operated with exceptional care and attention to every individual customer and order. The actual prices are competitive with every other chip shop in the area, but the genuine friendly approach from the staff in fantastic. I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone.
