Comments of NAO Japanese Ramen
W. W.
Had Shoyu and spicy miso, both were overall yummy, the former one had a more clean taste, the spicy miso was a little too salty for me. Chicken karaage was lightly battered, not the crispy type but juicy. Friendly and fast service.
E. H.
Haven’t been back for a while, so thought we give it a crack. Ordered our food at the Nao Ramen Restaurant and was seated at the Nao Curry Restaurant as it was full house. Service was swift but not as courteous as other Japanese Restaurant. One of the server did not budge with food in hand & expected customer to give way instead. Mind you she just had 2 rice dishes on a tray and not Ramen with hot soup.
Ramen was nice but soup tad greasy to my liking, unfortunately the Chicken Karage was not that great. Tasteless & full of oil in the deep fried batter. Left a greasy taste in your mouth which was uncomfortable. Jaws next door does a much better Karage.
Might have to give it a miss for a bit for now.

Still good! It’s my favourite ramen restaurant in Perth
C. C.
We ordered spicy cold noodle (zaru noodle), chicken cutlet curry and two flavour of ramen. Price is reasonable with big portion.
Will come back next time 😇

Nao Ramen started business in 2003 beside Murray St. They moved to 580 Hay St to get a bigger seating capacity. They have been in business for 18 years already. Two years ago before they started Nao Curry, I needed to queue up. This noontime I needed to queue again. Nao Ramen make their ramen noodle and gyoza freshly. Nao is by far the only ramen shop that offers pork spare ribs. My favourite is spicy ramen with pork spare ribs. The semi-boiled egg is a side dish. They used mixed chicken and pork bones to make the ramen broth. The broth undergoes a slow cook for days has to be made salty to keep the broth fresh. Enjoy!

One of the best in Perth, if not the best! The noodles are a bit firmer and to me, it's the best I had so far. The broths are great. I have to say that the Chashu was not the best though, hence why it didn't get 5 stars. If you add all the toppings, it can get quite pricey.
Edit: I got to eat the Gyoza, spicy ramen and the takoyaki. They were excellent, service was good too.
M. A.
Delicious noodles in the heart of the city.
Well priced and well thought out ramen dishes. Home stretched noodles with a variety of broth and topping options.
I went for the spicy broth with the spare rib topping, additional pork oil and grated garlic. Portions are huge and there is a small corking fee for BYOB.
Highly recommend and will be back to sample the other noodle and broth options.
E.
Cute industrial themed restaurant serving amazing ramen with a subtle and light but flavourful broth. Generous portions, good range of options for side dishes, and friendly staff.
J. L.
I've eaten at a fair few ramen places, this was rated very highly but maybe I just have different taste because I didn't enjoy it that much. The chashu pork was nice but other than that, the noodles were alright and the broth was mediocre at best. Always seems to be a line waiting outside and busy so they must be doing something right 🤷
Y. C.
My comfort bowl of good ramen. Ate here numerous of time. The quality is consistently good and service is fast and efficient. It's not a place where you will sit down and chat over a meal. It's more eat and go eating joint.
J. H.
Price (5/5)
Great choices with great price. If you get the base ramen, it cost less than 15. Adding more noodles and meat barely reached 20. If you want more add ons, it is affordable and definitely can fill you up.
Food (4/5)
The ramen was average and meat was a little tough. But for the price it’s is one of the best you can get around. The broth was interesting. Not bad at all.
Service (4/5)
Great service. Nothing bad to mention.
Ambience (4/5)
Nice lighting and music. But the table is a little wonky. It shakes a little but other than that, restaurant was nice.
Overall (4/5)
One of the cheapest ramen restaurant around that provides quality meal and sufficient quantity to eat till full. Recommended for a quick and cheap meal.
M. P.
The best Ramen I had so far in Perth. Less than $50 I got nice meal for 2 and great service. The Resto is packed and have to wait in line. Will definitely comeback for another winter soupy meal.. 🙏🙏
M. L.
Tasty ramen at affordable prices. Decent variety of soup base choices (miso, shio, shoyu, spicy) to choose from.
K. N.
Best ramen in Perth! This is my favorite place for lunch in the CBD, where i go to eat delicious food and relax, the decor is fantastic, love the dim lights, don't know why some customers complained about that, I find it so soothing and relaxing during the day, don't want the bright lights at all, please don't change anything in your lighting. Amazing quick service, always friendly and attentive staff. Price is great, never waited longer than 10 minutes for my food. Ramen broth is so flavourful and delicious, my favourite is shoyu ramen. Also tried delicious pan fried gyoza and squid tentacles today, loved both!
V. H.
Local recommendation! Arrived around 1145 am it was full so I decided to go for bench seat ! Ordered Hot Spicy ramen - X large spicy flavor noodle plus extra top up Chashu. Total bill is 18.50 a bit pricy ramen. The taste is authentic and remind me the time I had ramen in Japan. Good quality of broth, ramen cooked perfectly with yummy chashu. Four stars based on its price and no eggs on top of ramen . Personally I like spring onion too but I believe it comes to extra $$$ . Overall good meal experience. Will go back again not in rush though

Contemporary look replaced the simplistic authentic feel of a Japanese ramen restaurant. Like it better at the old place.
The takoyaki are probably one of the larger ones served amongst ones we've tried around Perth. The karage chicken was crispy and tasty but a little salty. Just don't ask for extra mayonnaise for it as you'll get charged a dollar. The gyoza were quite ordinary.
The ramen - made fresh on the premises makes it extra special. As I am not aware of any other ramen places who makes their noodles on the premises.
The person at the cashier must have been stressed on the day as she looked a little annoyed and impatient. I can't see why as they charge a surcharge of 1.2% for credit card payments.I
J. L.
Food is good but portion is small considering the prices you have to pay.
W. W.
Was recommended this place by someone that says its the best Japanese food and value for money in Perth! Probably right! We had the Ramen Shayu with white noodles and their Takoyaki as a side. Definetly will be back to try everything else. Very careful on their cleaning and sanitizing which was great and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you!
t. 9.
My family favorite ramen, we always comeback to this cause of the delicious ramen and okonomiyaki stick.
The place a bit dark so it's look like you're in the pub but actually a friendly casual place. A long queue is always happened if come a bit late.
K. L.
Always like the cold ramen since I been in australia
Legend!!
M. M.
I really recommend this restaurant. Amazing food and portion and fair price. The vegetarian option for the ramen was very good and the tempura veggies too. The best is that the noodles are done by themselves. Would be great more veggie options. I will return for sure. The staff very friendly.
C. N.
One of my favourite Ramen restaurants in the world.
This ramen restaurant serves ramen with homemade Chashu, broths and noodle🍜
There are four broth types to choose from Shio, Shoyu, Miso and Spicy with four flavoured noodle of Spinach, plain, chili and squid ink infused.
And surprisingly, there is an option to order curry from the next Nao owned curry and rice restaurant to have it here🍛
I normally order all fried vegetables curry for myself and finish a ramen to share with my kids.
Even 10 minutes after the ramen was served, the broth soup and still hot and the noodle is just right conditions.
I guarantee that the owner and the staff is gifted to make good ramens and love Perth.
In Japan, it is very common to serve only one broth per ramen restaurant.
However, professionals serve very authentic broths as many as four here in Perth.
That’s why I don’t have to miss Japan for a ramen 🍜
I am a fan and supports for this Remen restaurant and will come back to order homemade Gyosa as additions.
Oh I almost forgot to tell the staff here is lovely.
K. P.
As the ramen broth is really nice and clear, properly cooked and not full of fat like some of the ramen store. Noddle quality is top notch. The curry is great as I'm fan of the Japanese style curry. Good portion (large ramen for my hubby). Our favorite ramen spot in the city when we're craving non Hakata style ramen. A lil bit dark but it's OK.
C. H. O.
I often pass by this restaurant, but just yesterday I stopped by to eat here, quite full of visitors, this may be because the taste is quite good and the price is reasonable, the service is quite good, friendly enough, but unfortunately the tables are not very clean, maybe because they are too busy with many visitors and the room is not too bright, so there is a little invisible dirt, but over all it's pretty good, the food doesn't disappoint for that price
A. B.
My chasu don was lovely. Really late in the day, really happy they could fit me in before closing. Great portion size. Just the rice hit I needed
S. T.
There aren't a whole lot of options for ramen in Perth. Nao is moderately priced, with good sized portions. Exceptional service. The staff are very friendly and polite. Would definitely go here again.
G. C.
First time in my life I have had Ramen. Went today and such a busy Restaurant. Ramen with so many choices, thoroughly enjoyed it but couldn't finish the last of the spouse, we also had for starters octopus balls of fish caked, everything was enjoyed
J.
I had the Shoyu Ramen, Regular size. Ramen was very tasty although I quickly realised that the Regular size was not enough for me as I had quite a bit of soup left so I quickly ordered another serve of noodles. Just the normal yellow noodles and asked for them to be cooked “hard”.
Extremely tasty. I can see why my friend recommended this place as the best ramen he’s ever had!
One star off as I felt the Regular serving size could be a bit more generous. Will definitely return next time I’m in Perth!
J. Y.
Casual noodle restaurant. I had the spicy miso with white noodles and the extra chashu, broth was good, spicy and tasty, noodles were just the right firmness you might want the extra noodle option I know I’ll order that next time. The calamari was nice and crispy when hot. Wish it wasn’t quite so dark inside though.
Y.
Would recommend if you're craving a giant bowl of salty soup. Noodles have a great texture!
Downside is that you definitely feel like staff are trying to rush you out, not ideal if you want to relax at all. Also, no ramen egg included :(
M. D.
Clean, friendly service and decent food. Limited menu though. Apparently it's one of the best Ramen places in Perth. In comparison to the ones in Brisbane it is good. In comparison to the ones in Melbourne, I've tasted better with better service also. Price is fair for a ramen place. We were lucky to be able to walk straight in but while we were there, the waiting line became pretty long.
M. L.
The ramen broth and noodles was great! Noodle texture was delicious too.
Only thing was I wasn’t a fan of standing in front of the store and trying to pick what to order from big menu books instead of being able to sit at the table to look at the menu comfortably.
R. D.
A funky little ramen bar. This place is so great. Thrilled to have found a good ramen bar of this calibre. Miso ramen was salty with a wonderful depth of flavour. The noodles were tender and everything just sang. Will be bringing people back here for sure
J. L.
If you're in the city area, this is a great place to get your Japanese ramen craving fix! There's always a long line of people queuing so it's best to get there early just before or well after the lunch rush.
This is one of the many - but now one of my top favourite - places in Perth where they serve authentic Japanese ramen. The place is run by Japanese people who greet you with a smile, the noodles are hand made onsite behind the counter and cooked to the right texture, and the broth is just tasty and full of flavour.
We tried the miso ramen and the spicy ramen, which was a spicy version of the miso but was only mildly spicy for me. Each bowl of ramen comes with only 1 slice of Chashu (roasted pork) which was enough for me but if you like your meat then it'd be worth opting for extra chashu. The meal for two with green tea came to $27.50 which was a reasonable price for the quality of the dish.
It should be noted that they are closed on Sat but open for rest of the week for lunch until just before dinner.
C. L.
Huge portion even for regular size, I don't want to imagine the large size. I ordered spicy miso soup with white noodle. I can taste the freshness of miso, good broth. A ramen that you still can finish even of you feel tired of eating. Not spicy at all though.
S. A.
The broth was exactly like the rumour I heard, the best. But i dunno is it because where I sat or the shop was extremely hot! Especially while you were eating the hot ramen soup. The service was meh, not much interaction. Will be back If I am craving, but not regularly. The ambience was dark as well.
A. W.
Great service and meals!
Order first at the counter is interesting lol
Dining area was a bit dark but cozy!
K. I.
Great ramen. The broth isnt sickly rich like other places. Yummy
M. C.
Ordered shoyu ramen with yellow noodles and chasu. The soft pork was amazing, melt in your mouth. Broth was rich and tasty but way too much pepper which overpowered the dish.
B. F.
Some say it is the best Ramen place in Perth. The serving size was huge. Could not finish that.
M. B.
Had the vegan option. The broth (made from seaweed) is delicious but just not worth $16 as not much in it besides the noodles. Mushrooms would seem the obvious addition
A.
Excellent food and service! Love the fact that the Ramen is made on site👍 The thick tasty broth is yum! Great for our current wet and cold wimtry weather!
A. J.
I was introduced by a Malaysian friend and they told me this is a must to try if I happen to come here in Perth. After our try...it is really different and I also tell the same way - MUSY TRY! The texture of the noodle are different and i love it very much.
J. P.
Went tonight with hubby for a long overdue ramen after a friend’s fervent recommendation. We were not disappointed. Hands-down the best ramen place in Perth. Authentic Japanese ramen, with real jazz music. Miles was playing! Thank you, we are just finding another occasion to come by for a good tuck-in! Spicy Cha Su and Miso Cha Su for very hearty, tasty and slurp-worthy especially for this chilly season!
R. M.
The placewas crowded and we were kind of rushed through and forced to order quickly and the ramen was ok but nothing special
A. B.
Gorgeous atmosphere, exceptional staff, massive servings. My bowl was literally bigger in all directions than my umbrella. If you want value for money (and bring a doggy bag) this is the place for you.
K. D.
Nice and fast service, delicious food, but a little sad that no ramen egg was included.
H. G.
The food came lighting fast and the food tastes Incredible! The staff are also incredibly nice!
V. T.
Went there around 2.30pm. Staff is very nice and efficient. Went for the spicy ramen, with extra bamboo shoots 16AUD. Bamboo shoots was a lot =) but for a spicy lover like me, it was not spicy enough and the broth was very salty.
J. L.
Huge bowls of ramen with choice of normal egg noodles, green spinach infused noodles, red chilli infused noodles or black squid infused noodles. Ramen and gyoza were delish and service was first rated. An interesting and unique blend of traditional Japanese ramen with romantic jazz music and a dark cosy ambience. Plan ahead and go early as the place fills up with diners quickly. Recommended!
M. R.
Best Ramen in Perth. This has been my go to place for a bowl of comfort food for the last 8 years and hopefully many years to come 🙏🏽
R. C.
the best ramen i ve ever tried so far ! The broth i, the noodle ( i pick the squid ink ) and the pork were so good! Pork was so tender and rich with flavour. Big portion and good value of money ! Server lady was friendly and polite too. Oh and dont forget to try the gyoza too, it was delicious !
K. C.
I thought the ramen here was okay. It didn't really blow my mind but it wasn't bad either. I came because this had one of the best reviews in Perth but I left a little underwhelmed.
A. W.
Had tsukemen here. It's good.. but I expected the stock to be thicker and richer in taste, instead of just a lot of salt. Meat portion too small I think. Atmosphere was pretty cool though.
L. S.
Shame they don't have eggs with their ramen, but was a really great bowl. Ordered a tonkotsu large bowl. Great flavour and great service.
J. C.
If I was down to my last $20 I would spend it here. The food is so fantastic and it leaves you feeling warm and content. The prices are very reasonable and for under $40 you get a nice date with big meals and great service.
J. A.
The ramen was tasty and the portion generous. Would definitely recommend.
D. L.
Service is good and ramen is always served hot and on the menu there are plenty of choices such as seafood, spicy seafood, regular pork, spicy pork and finally, other sides such as octopus balls and fried squid, food here is never old and always served fresh.
t. a.
Order a soya and spicy ramen, both taste too much soya for me, nice ambience staff with great service
M. d. M. C.
beautiful ramen, big size and amazing flavour!
K. N.
Good ramen, staffs are friendly. I’ve tried all the ramen there and i like the spicy ramen the most, also make sure you add chasu in your bowl
S. Y.
Tasty ramen that should come with a "very very hot" warning. My tongue felt like it touched the surface of the sun when I took my first spoonful... I definitely got burnt.
K. L.
Absolutely amazing. Finally a good meal in Perth, that's affordable too. I can't even describe how much I enjoyed the ramen, after finishing I just sat there for 15minutes thinking over how amazing it had been.
Yes the place is tight, yes the service is very straight forward and minimal (thank god!) and yes the only thing they do is take your order, payment and say "thank you, goodbye" (thank god again, I love it).
~15$ for an amazing meal with minimal service, I couldn't be happier, I would come here every day, but I want to keep it special.
Yet again amazing!
C. K.
10/10 delicious. Best ramen i've ever had. Spicy miso ramen is to die for. Nice ambiance and well priced.
F. C.
For first timers, it can be a little intimidating when ordering, but after your first time you'll be coming back for 2nds and 3rds and so on. If I'm craving Japanese Ramen, this is my go-to place in Perth. Customer service is great and they're quite kind.
Its maybe mid-range price-wise for the main meals; the more you add, the more it costs. However if you keep it at the basic options, definitely a great price. For an average person, probably a regular sized ramen would suit, and I'd recommend adding the boiled egg and pork.
C. Z.
Great Ramen. Great service. I will say that it was a little hard to know how to order though. The girl helped us decide what we needed though, and it all ran smoothly from there.
Oishī
M. W.
Authentic ramen with reasonable price. Staff was a bit rushing as so many ppl waiting in line.
Y. L.
Very tasty fried chicken and large portion of ramen
F. A.
Super fast and nice service, amazing vegan ramen!
C. M.
Oh, I really like their ramen! There are 4 different colours of noodles you can choose from. Their Takoyaki is something similar in ramen restaurant at Carousel and it's always good. We also tried their yum Chicken Karage.
If you love ramen, try NAO Japanese Ramen.
Staff are accommodating. Service is fast and the place has a different ambient than any ramen restaurant. 👍👍
S. K.
First, let's talk decor. It not super fancy but nicer than casual. Clean and neat without clutter. I liked the ambience, lights were low which created an intimate atmosphere. I can't remember if there was music but noise level was enough to dispel any awkwardness and to hear the person you were dining with. I would 100% recommend this place to take your date to.
I've been to Japan so many times and I always visit a small ramen shop in Kyoto. In my opinion, it's the best ramen I've had; think mum's home cooking, it's pretty hard to beat. And with the current travel restrictions, I was feeling sad that it will be a long time before I return to Japan. I ordered the NAO shoyu ramen with an extra boiled egg. It was delicious! Albeit, the egg was a little salty... But everything else was perfect, it was almost as good as the ramen I dream about back in Japan. But It took me back to that little shop in Kyoto and that was enough.
The service was excellent-- polite, prompt, and friendly.
D. C.
Generous food portions, and the ramen was tasty, especially the additional chicken I ordered. Keen to come back and try another combination of ramen.
S. Z.
I love Nao =) since the first time I came to perth. Specially Takoyaki, the best!
A. S.
Amazing Ramen, with a whole host of different options to choose from. It is a great place to sit in, quite dark but very authentic. They make the noodles fresh in the front of the store. Also excellent for takeaway - very well packaged to keep your Ramen safe to where you can enjoy it. Highly recommended!
M. L.
Great ramen, though the price is a tad high when you start adding extra condiments.
L. H.
A specialist ramen restaurant with home made ramen and a range of broth. You'll definitely taste the difference in the freshness. Definitely worth a trip to this ramen joint! It's apparently where the Perth locals who know their ramen go to for a meal. Highly recommend.
S. J.
A very clean and busy place. Has authentic Japanese Vibe. Very generous serving size. Very friendly and super helpful staffs.
Personally think Ramen broth is not up to expectations - lacking decent flavour that totally kills it.
T. J.
Average ramen. Decent size portions. Decent price and good service but the ramen is average. Perhaps a tad bit too salty. Okonomiyaki sticks were pretty cool. Doesn't really have the same texture as the actual okonomiyaki. Takoyaki not bad a bit on the runny side if your into that the octopus on the inside was overdone. May not eat here again.
R. W.
We returned for a quick Saturday lunch, taking advantage of the unusual short queue. The ramen was still pretty tasty and fresh. However, the standard of the broth has slipped that day. The depth of favour of a well brewed broth was missing, it tasted like MSG laden dish soup. The shao pork was not lightly grilled but a slice of boiled pork. I gave 4 stars here based on the many good experiences from previous visits. I hope the next visit would redeem Nao back to where it should be.
V. G.
Good Ramen. Cool noodle options.. including chill and squid ink infused ramen.
M. B.
Amazing. Awesome service. Great value. The Best Ramen in Perth with out a doubt
M. H. T.
One of the best Ramen places in Perth, quick and efficient service but I feel they may add MSG to the soup
R. S.
The best ramen i ever tried. Went to college in Perth and always came here for lunch. Couldnt find any other place to beat ramen from Nao!
K. W.
I arrived late lunch in the restaurant which is known to be the best ramen in Perth. Expectedly, there was a long queue. But it's worth the wait as the ramen was so super fresh and tasty especially the broth. The price is fair and reasonable as they served in a massive bowls. And it is very interesting to see thru the clear glass window of the restaurant on how the noodles are being made fresh thru bare hands. Worth to come back next time but may be a bit earlier (before lunch time) to avoid the long queue!
W. C.
All you can eat sushi train is very catchy and average value for the price.
T. M.
Massive feeds. Quality vs price is great. Ive been to Japan for a month very authentic. I would say 8.5 or of ten
s. s.
Nice food fresh fair price me daughter loved it
J. G.
This place is always packed with people. There is always a line outside which tells you this is a really good place to eat at. Their ramen is delicious and the noodles are made in house. I highly recommend trying the spinach noodles as they are most soft/chewy that normal noodles. We will definitely be back
G. C. (.
The ramen came in a big bowl. Was excellent and tasty. We tried the spinach infused noodles, did not really taste any different. The soup and condiments were good. I still think other franchises like Hakata Gensuke and Ippudo do it better. We ordered extra meat in our ramen.
R. G.
They have good service and their noodles are some of the best. The soups/broths are reasonably plain however, nothing special about them. This is mostly for people who don't know what good ramen broths really are. Lacks the feel of being a Japanese restaurant as well.
N. C.
Best Ramen, lunch time on weekday still full.
W. L.
It's my favorite ramen restaurant in perth
C. H.
Oversized bowls of noodles, flavoursome options that are affordable and generous. Queueing is common, but tables turn quickly. This place is popular and worthy of repeat visits. We arrived at lunch time and quite queue. But since we are okay for bar seat, we can get in quite fast. This ramen restaurant still manage by japanese chef, thats why its taste authentic japanese ramen
S. M.
Delicious traditional ramen restaurant. Up there with one of the best in Perf that I've tasted. I haven't tried the Nao curry yet, but it's on the list!
R. O.
Very tasty noodles. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Thanks.
K. T. G.
Ramen that is different from the usual tonkotsu fair. The noodles are handmade and really delicious, not too soft, just the right amount of bite to it, and goes exceptionally well with the soup base. Prices are fairly decent as well.
M. J.
The broths are amazing and the ramen noodles have nice texture. Beautiful atmosphere. Curry chicken is rich with flavour.
N. P.
I LOVE vegan combu ramen!
If you’re vegan, try out combu ramen with udon noodles, this is one of my best vegan foods in Perth! I go Nao ramen at least once a week to have this. Love it❤️
K. W.
I'm so glad i found this place! Been looking for good ramen in Perth for a long time, my search is over! Affordable and delicious. Almost on par with my favorite restaurant in Tokyo. Is very popular so get in early, but it's worth the wait!!
C. C. T.
One of the better ramen places in Perth. This ramen restaurant feels authentic, and doesn't have the commercial factory-production-line feel like the other ramen shops. Great variety of soup bases, noodles, and toppings. Miso spicy ramen was one of the best ramen soups I have ever tried. Warm service by real Japanese people. Well done.
S. e.
One of my favourite Ramen restaurant~ Noodles are handled very well, not hard or soft. The soup is very rich and tasty. What I like best is cold noodles with sesame sauce, and it's very delicious!
G.
The absolute best ramen restaurant in Perth. My family and I have been coming here for years and the exceptional quality of the food has never faltered. The shio (salty) broth is on the perfect side of not too heavy, not too light, and I've never been to a ramen shop - even in Japan - that can cook cha shu the way Nao makes theirs. Every person I've taken to this place has loved it. They've also added salted eggs to their menu which are a great addition. The gyoza is pretty great, too, but if you're coming to Nao and not eating their ramen then you are doing it wrong.
J. O.
Really tasty, freshly made noodles. I usually have the kombu noodles which is has a nice clean taste. The miso noodles are also quite nice if I want something meaty.
Staff are fantastic, polite and responsive. Well worth the wait, especially on cold rainy winter evenings.
P. L.
Interesting restaurant. While food receives high regards from fellow reviewers (I don’t know because I cannot order yet); this is the first time where we need to wait for all participant to be seated for the order to be done. You are not allowed to order until all are seated. Absolutely outrageous! I guess first for everything.
Please note - it appears that there is a note that you need to all come in order. Tell that to my grand parents/young kids that does not use the internet.
Will rate food once I have the food. But the experience is already tainted.
Service is great so far beside the ordering policy.
Update - food is great. Upgraded to 3 stars. Highly recommend you go in small groups. Space is tight.
J. B.
Love this place, I keep coming back with my partner for date nights and they’re so nice and polite, and the food is amazing, very fast service and fresh food, favourite place to eat in Perth 🙌
T. M.
Value for money is fantastic. The food tastes even better. Definitely recommend
K. D.
I went to Nao for the first time about 5 years ago and thought it was excellent. Unfortunately, when I went there last week it was a little disappointing.
The new venue's lighting is far too dim and wasn't pleasant.
The ramen was decent, but nothing special, sadly, as the last time I went was a great experience.
Was shocked that tonkotsu wasn't on the menu as well.
I might go back in the future, but probably not.
B.
Very friendly staff. Place is full as soon as the door opens. Loved the choices of spinach, chili, squid ink flavour noodle on top of the original ones.
Needs to improve on lighting! You can hardly see the menu or your companions.
Food is slightly salty but portion and favour is there.
V. H.
Lovely made noodles and great broth makes excellent Ramen!
E. W.
Hands down my favourite ramen place in Perth! The servings are huge, the prices aren’t too unreasonable, the customer service is great, and the meals are super customisable yet fresh and delicious at even the base level. The atmosphere is lovely too, with simple decor and dim lighting (which some people seem to complain about, but I personally find really relaxing).
The only potentially negative thing about this place is that it is relatively small, and popular, so you may have to wait a while to be seated during peak times - and if you have a group with you that’s any larger than about 2 or 3 people, it’s going to take even longer. This really is one of those places where you should just go with a no more than a few other people, eat your food, and get out. You’ll notice that if you start sitting around and chatting after you’ve finished your food, the waiters will instantly come over, take your dishes away and give you the bill, as if to imply that they want you to move on as soon as possible. Don’t take this the wrong way - it’s just that it’s a really popular little place, and the staff are just trying their best to keep everyone flowing through the restaurant as efficiently as possible.

How can I say it ? These past month have been very difficult and I would’ve not survive the weight of my existence without the continuous support of the amazing, outstanding and underrated ramen restaurant that NAO ramen is. If you want legitimate, authentic and delicious people and amazing ramen, you have come the right place. Waiters there are very friendly and have helped me through my crippling depression more than my mum has. I would like to express my perpetual gratitude to this restaurant and has vowed to eat nowhere else beside this restaurant.
I pledge my total allegiance and absolute loyalty to this heaven sent.
If you don’t go there you are an idiot.
T. L.
The miso broth was amazing with a deep flavour. The pork spareribs it came with where delicious and fell of the bone while trying to eat them. The portions are very filling and overall reasonably price. It is definitely some of the best ramen I’ve had in Perth.
The service I received was great, the Resturant’s ambiance was nice and cosy and the dim lighting and smell of seafood and garlic made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be returning!
l. s.
With noodles and broth made in house from scratch, same with gyoza, you know its always safe to say you'll get a great meal here. The price is very reasonable and the portion sizes are large. I definitely recommend lunch here ( though on a busy day you may need to line up).....
j. f.
Ramen is really good. Can get really packed during lunch times but service is quick. Staff are friendly and polite. Price is mid-range with choices to add toppings or extra noodles.
J. T.
This is gold !! Food is amazing. I have always seen huge crowds here even on week days - Now i know why. Place is pretty small, but when you have such great tasting Ramen - nothing else matters. I had a spicy Ramen Chicken and it was awesome.
E. S.
Nice atmosphere for an inner-city restaurant. Terrific ramen, a friend forced me to try it and it was worth it. Get a little cultured and give NAO a shot!
Gets really busy, get there early. Large groups (4+) can add to the wait significantly.
L. F.
Best Ramen in Perth (at least the places where I have been). Broth is very good. Products are fresh.
Staff nice and efficient.
I’ll go there again.

Price: $15++/ramen
Ambience: If you like to dine in the dark..
What you need to know before coming:
If you like to see clearly what food you are eating, you might need a pair of night vision goggles. I’ve perfect eyesight and it’s quite hard to adjust as the walk to this restaurant is brightly lighted and once u step in, the darkness is overwhelming. It is as though I’m dining at “Dialogue in the Dark” and they are trying to hide the imperfections behind poor lightings.
It’s 1.45pm and it’s 3/4 full. The air conditioning is very weak despite the amount of people dining. LOL this is funny cause I almost never see my wife sweat while eating.
Their ramen offer a lot of customisation and it’s vegetarian friendly. Their serving is generous as well considering the amount of vegetables per ramen. I like it that their green tea is served in a pot for two rather than individual servings. The menu is very comprehensive, just that the photos won’t be able to do any justice to the ramen under the poor lighting. Every ramen photo looks similar in this situation. If you are a very visual person when it comes to selecting what food to have, luckily these days phones are bright enough to light up the menu at least.
Commendable point will be their collection of empty bowls. They are very prompt, probably once u sit upright and stop eating; they will offer to clear the dishes.
J. W.
First time here ordered the basic shio broth with white noodle, broth was tasty but a bit salty, noodles were OK didn't find anything special though. Takoyaki was not bad just wish put a bit less doughy staff in it. Big portion with reasonable price. Went there at 11:30 so just waited for a few minutes to get sitted, food came out fast and staff were quite friendly and efficient, aircon not strong enough so sweaty after having several slurp of noodles, light can be brighter it's just too dark inside.
a. a.
I enjoyed high quality ramen. It was a little bit too dark inside the restaurant. I prefer to Shio taste ramen among its menus.
A. Y. F. C.
Overall a very pleasant experience and authentic ramen. I went with a Japanese friend. The food is big portion for an Asian. Very on point. Will definitely come back.
R. B.
Favourite ramen spot in the city. Wish they were open for dinner!
A. B.
First time visiting this place but i went my mates who have been before. It was Not a long wait outside at around 1pm and after ordering it was a really short wait, great place to have lunch with mates and good atmosphere. It might be small inside the restaurant but it just simlulates japan ramen restaurants that are everywhere, which is a massive plus. The basic Soy Ramen is amazing and isnt expensive and The Takoyaki are really nice as well as a side. I recommend everyone to try this place at least once.
T. H.
Lovely place good value for the amount of ramen you get. I would recommend the miso ramen! Food tastes great and there's a wonderful atmosphere. I'm in love with the no-fuss ordering and lovely service. It's a little dark inside and hard to see the menu and where you're going, though.
B. S.
Yes, the ramen here is very good. They will take your order quickly, and they will try and shuffle you along when you are done - but that's only because you should be damned privileged to eat ramen this good in Perth to begin with. If you don't care for the queue you can try your luck at Ippudo or Eat.me ramen, which are somewhat within walking distance.
W. Y.
"To die for" place offering a great range of Ramen in all styles. During peak periods gotta wait quite a while but the wait crew are excellent and ensure you get a seat as soon as possible. A1+++
I. L.
The spicy broth is full of flavour and comes in a generous size. The vibe of Nao since it has moved is also an added bonus, you can now enjoy your ramen in a much improved space. Only thing I would improve is the one slice of chashu as a standard order.. Most would go for at least two. Despite this you can't beat fast service,
A.
One of the OG ramen joints in Perth!
They have some pretty unique dishes and ramen options!
F.
Ordered miso ramen. 8/10 for quality of ramen. Excellent toppings (but had to buy egg as an extra), fair noodles, fair broth. Great decor and mood. Go a bit later in the day to skip the inevitable lunchtime queue.
J. S.
love the new place, one of the best authentic ramen
R. H.
By far one of the best places (if not the best place) for Ramen in Perth. I always recommend the Karaage Chicken and Shoyu Ramen (Soy style Ramen). The menu is essentially only Ramen though so if you're looking for anything else go elsewhere and there are a number of places nearby worth checking out. But for a well priced (if very slightly expensive) bowl of some of Perth's best Ramen this is the place to go. Only Lucky Chan's in Northbridge compares. They also offer a range of drinks including Japanese Style soft drinks which I recommend everyone try once. Beware of no alcohol and no split billing and a small surcharge on credit card purchases.
J. L.
Little pricey and the service leaves something to be desired, but the food is on point and you are seated immediately. Great ambience and smooth jazz playing so really a 5/5 from me, but the serving staff needs work. For reference, I came during a slow time with ample staff.
j. b.
This is my favourite place for ramen in Perth. Their sides as well are just incredible.
j. k.
Taste pretty good, friendly staff ,and you also can choose how hard the noodles you want. However,i love rich favourite soup,so this is not my first choice ramen in Perth.
L. F.
Overall a good bowl of miso ramen and a good option in the area. Tasty broth and flavorful pork chashu, plenty of options to customize your order, noodles made in house and good price. The gyoza was also very good. However, some points for improvement, the chashu could be sliced a bit thicker for my liking, for a more satisfying bite, it was cut paper thin. The broth was a bit spicy even though I did not order the spicy version. And the egg (ajitsuke tamago) was cooked past it’s creamy point.
N. F.
One of my favourite Ramen in Perth. The new venue is nice inside. Service is reasonably quick. The spicy Ramen broth is great and is not too oily.
C. S.
Quality ramen noodles, multiple delicious soup bases, melt in your mouth pork slices - what more can you ask for? Best to get there early, there's always a queue! It is that good :)
R. W.
Good ramen, handmade noodles with 4 or 5 different flavours/varieties, generous servings.
B. P.
I have never been to japan but if this is the ramen you get there than I would be happy to travel for it. The place is small so wait time for a seat can be long during peak hrs. Soup is really nice. noodles pretty good. portions are just right. Would recommend this place as a nice place to go for ramen in perth.
S.
One of the best ramen shops in Perth. Authentic ramen experience with a good variety of broths, noodles and toppings to choose from, NAO gets all of them just right.
Sides dishes have an opportunity for improvement but only to achieve excellence.
Overall NAO is a textbook ramenya. Consequentially, prepare to line up for a while when you go.
D. H.
The best ramen in Perth. Try the spicy Ramen with spare ribs. Too die for. The broth is not runny and has a kick but not overpowering. Quick service and pleadant staff
T. V.
Nice staffs & having the best ramen ever in Perth. However they should widen their brand due to its narrow space. Sometimes we had to wait approx 15mins for lunch
D. K.
Orderd gyoza and miso ramen.
Gyoza was too salty to eat.
Miso ramen was just ok but not great in a big bowl.
Chashu should be better and too strong smell of pork meat.
Y. T.
Other then the Ramen at freo, this is the best ramen I have had in Perth.
Huge servings at affordable prices.
They seem to be always at max capacity and waiting times are about 10-20 minutes.
S. D.
Dark environment but very cosy. My favourite from the menu was the takoyaki balls. The noodles is really good too.
There's no split billing and there's also a surcharge if you pay on card. Also there's no water served unless you ask them. Quick service nonetheless.
S. C.
Nice to find good authentic Japanese ramen eatery in Perth city. They have got different broth and noodle texture to choose from. Reasonable rice too!
M. B.
I had ramen a few times in Perth but finally I found the best ramen here, the broth is very good and probably homemade, the noodles are homemade, chasu pork is soft and yummy, very happy, thank you!!!
D. L.
Not the best ramen that I have tasted. Broth not as thick. But overall I enjoyed it. But their takoyaki is delicious.
C. N.
Spicy ramen was alright, broth tasted like kimchi instant noodle soup. The pork was so thinly sliced- by far the thinnest slice I've ever eaten in ramen. Could've easily gotten a better bowl of ramen at a cheaper price in Melbourne and Singapore.
辛.
Nothing surprised me. Totally says it's ok.
But the service is excellent.
A. T.
Endorse the other positive reviews - tasty, fresh ramen.
You get to pick your soup base, ramen noodles (I prefer spicy), and your own toppings.
I've only ever had friendly & efficient service.
Best lunch experience I've had in Perth!
T.
Get a case of déjà vu when eating the Ramen makes me feel like I’m back in Japan Friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere 😊
B. D.
Great food at a reasonable price! You have a choice of broth, noodles, classic add-ons or additional. I got the seafood mix for an extra $4 and it was well worth it. Three of us had lunch with soft drinks for just over $50
l. w.
We dine here as often as we can.
Never had a bad dish and the service is outstanding.
Great atmosphere, great decor and cool music.
I will always recommend Nao Ramen to everyone.
J. D.
The portion sized for the ramen is quite big no matter if it is the regular size or the large, which makes it very worth your money. One of the cons of NAO is that they dont have a male toilet only female and disabled which sort of confused me but either than that everything else is good
R. L.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!
my favourite ramen in Perth ❤
Best karaage iv had 🤤 and love the takoyaki.
D. W.
Best ramen in Perth and love the new premises, great atmosphere and perfect lighting!
Service is fast and super friendly. Quality is top notch, you can't go wrong 👍
M. P.
Love the place ...very relaxing
They make great Ramen
P. V.
Excellent ramen, the shoyu broth is not as good as the spicy. The eggs are the best in Perth.
S.
Was the first time I went there and the food was amazing! You honestly pay a great price like $15-$20 (depending what you like) and you get huge portions. Would recommend to everyone. Went there on a late Thursday night and it was quiet, which is apparently unique, cause I have been told by friends that it’s generally packed.
K. B.
I have been there a few times now and for the price of each bowl it's pretty worth it. Quality of ramen is a little inconsistent - soup is thin and bland at times, other times it's tasty and had more body.
D. M.
Staff very efficient and friendly.
The ramen was great with delicious broth; great portion as well for the price.
Will definitely go back for more
A. D.
owned by a lovely couple....
I've been eating here for more than 12 years...Best bit is they make their ramen noodles from scratch....mostly miso based style of ramen.
As for extras try the nikumiso and chasiu(pork slices)
R. S.
One of the best places for ramen in Perth. Expect a wait during peak times, but luckily ramen is a super fast eating experience, so the line goes fast. Huge portions of good food, customisable dishes.
A. T.
My husband and u usually love this food and as expected on this trip it was also very good however to our horror we found metal shards in our food. I had actually swallowed it and said "I just swallowed something sharp" before my husband then found the shards in out ramen. They politely apologised and replaced our food but still charged us which I felt was unfair as I had already swallowed the metal and it was in fact extremely dangerous.
I'm mainly posting this because this is one of our favorite places in Perth and it was sad to experience this lack of basic health and safety.
Please Nao keep on your game!
R.
Loved the shio soup, not too rich. Chashu was tasty, had added chicken which was super flavourful. Best ramen we've found in Perth so 5/5 from me.
A. T.
Tried the shio ramen, it was slightly bland not to my liking. The lighting was too dark however service was good. Chicken karaage, gyoza & takoyaki were delicious side dishes. Must try!
A. R.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ramen - clearly authentic, especially the noodles. Attentive service, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
R. M.
Delicious ramen noodles. Choose from 4 stocks, I had miso stock, then from 4 noodles. Squid ink for me. Thats it or order extras. There are other things on menu too. Try a Japanese lemonade with yuzu and try to work out the bottle...haha.
It's very popular at lunch time but if you have to wait, it won't be for long.
S.
I love this place. The staff are very nice, and there is a whole range of Japanese food ton choose from! The food is always at best quality every time I return, and it is delicious. 🍜
J. L. Y.
Came here because we liked it the first time round. Big deterrent is they have no high chairs. 50% of tables were families with kids in their prams when we went. That's tardy. Perth is a family friendly place. You bring the Japan here as in the food, not the eat and go culture. Waitresses were snobby, not all just a few. Either their language is poor or impatient to let us finish our sentences, we said 5 adults 4 kids they gave us a table for 5. Hate it when restaurants get snobby and make customers feel like an annoyance when they become popular.
P. P.
Really great ramen, good prices and great serving sizes, no need to go large unless you are truly a big eater! Highly recommend!
G. R.
Fantastic ramen every time, so consistent. It's always busy here and for good reason, so get in early to beat the rush. Go for the spicy red.
H. U.
I had the Japanese curry and the flavours were satisfying. I have yet to try their ramen though.
G. P.
Nao never fails to deliver a tasty and satisfying meal. My favorite is the miso broth. Come hungry, leave stuffed and happy. Only fault is the broth is a little salty, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to salt.
S. W.
Plus: chic Japanese ramen eatery. Not so: light too dim, pricier compare to other ramen eateries and the broth flavour is subtler. I favour more the ramen at Milligan St.
P. X.
Best ramen place in Perth. Prepare for a bit of a wait in peak time but it's well worth it. The noodles are so well prepared and the broth is to die for.
E. S.
Incredible Ramen, lovely ambiance and setting, great prices - there's no way to go wrong at Nao. The Chashu Shio Ramen is to die for, and Nao's Ramen noodles are all homemade fresh in store.
A. S.
First time experience trying ramen. I think we chose well. Very good service, great food and the decor was great as well. Highly recommend.
C. “. Z.
Personally, my favorite place to have ramen. Nice food, nice service. The restaurant is very well operated. It is also a pleasure to be there to admire their work in the kitchen.
M. L.
Amen for Nao Ramen! For any ramen lover this place is LEGIT.
Pick your soup base, pick your ramen noodle, pick your toppings.
There are so many great choices and combinations I can guarantee you want to go back. The only downside is the wait time if you go at peak hour after 5pm but lets face it, when you want good ramen you bet your ass you're gonna wait. And the longer you wait the better it's gonna taste. As I'm typing this right now I am actually getting hungry thinking about it.
Not only is the ramen mind blowing, the entrees are also pretty amazing. Don't go to Nao if you are afraid of taste bud orgasms. Cos this place will make your mouth feel things you've never felt before.
D. W.
The best Japanese ramen in Perth.
R. D.
Went for lunch on a Thursday. Had to wait for 15 minutes to get a table, but there were five of us. Had white noodles with spicy soup, awesome!! Great food, good portions.
L. H.
Really good ramen. Shoyu broth was slightly too salty. The chashu is tasty but fatty, so it does slowly fall apart if kept long in the hot broth.
B. L.
The OG ramenya in Perth. Authentic cuisine with a great variety and very cosy ambient. It’d take things up a notch if Japanese alcohol was on the menu.
A. E.
Went there for lunch today. Ramen was nice. The menu was a bit confusing, and it was a bit dark inside the restaurant. It was quite busy there, I didn’t need to wait for a table, but it took about 15mins for the food to be served (that’s ok as I understand it was lunch time peak hour)
T. 9.
Their Ramen is delicious as a whole, but I just wish the broth was a bit less bland
G.
This is the ramen we compare all others too ... so far, no-one else comes close to Nao. The best.
W.
Place was dimly lit with quite lively atmosphere, customer service was great and the food was good. The spicy Ramen wasn't spicy (at all tbh) I'd suggest to ask for extra spiciness if you into it.
K.
Excellent ramen, as usual. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
J. E.
Food is usually always great here if you like raman. It does get busy busy at lunch time though so be early (pre 12pm) to ensure you get a seat.
M. P.
Amazing ramen. dedicated and attentive staff. Service is amazing, Fast and polite. Recommend
Y. Y.
Came here several times already. Feel this is one of the best reman in Perth, especially if you do not like rich soup. Soup flavour is thick but not greasy.
S. D.
Delicious ramen....reasonable price
G. Z.
Was my first time having this and omg it is killer i loved all the flavours the portions were plenty the staff were really great and the food came out quick .
Must be a popular place as there were a line waiting for a table just for lunch but the staff managed to push people through at a good pace that you weren't waiting too long.
I really enjoyed this place and can't wait to go back.
K. P.
Trendy Japanese ramen casual dining restaurant. Their ramen is pretty good, and prices are reasonable. It seems to attract a young following. Worth the visit.
Ü. Y.
Tell me why, this is one of my favourite Ramen place in Perth! Quick waiting time, welcoming environment and handmade noodles makes my day!
R. H.
I frequently call this "the best ramen in Perth", and it seems well justified with handmade noodles and delicious pork. Have yet to try anything even close!
김.
Loved spicy ramen here💗
Y. L.
Very nice ramen. And takoyaki. Will come for more.
W. U. R.
My favourite Japanese restaurant. The ramen is so delicious and I always crave for it ㅠㅠ The staff are friendly too.
J. C.
One of the best ramen in Perth. The only downside is it is quite dark inside, they could consider lighting it up a bit.
M. K.
Loved it so much! The lady who served me was really kind! It’s definitely a good ramen restaurant. Environment is super cozy and warm.
A. S.
Delicious Gyoza and Ramen. The noodles are made on site.
A. C.
Portions are HUGE! Ramen is delicious and you can’t find a better place for it in Perth! Make sure to arrive early for lunch as it gets packed!
M. C.
very nice ramen, but avoid the peak period. The waitress doesn't speak good English and always made the wrong order.
C. N.
Only 1 piece of chashu for a $12 ramen :(
B.
Very delicous food. The curry and Ramen are very good and some very good services. Definitely a great place to eat ^.^
G. M.
The best Ramen in Perth. Don't worry about the lines, they move fast, and you might get to see Mr. Nao make the noodles.
T. N.
This place is off the charts, best ramen I ever tasted in Perth. Food is fantastic, service is amazing. Recommended to everyone.
K. W.
The food was good but we were very rushed we had just sat down and were already pressured into ordering, in the space of about 3 minutes they came back at least 3 times to and I quote what she said "finally take our order" we had also just gotten our mains and already got the bill with our mains.
Overall good food but the service is very lacking and rushed.
M.
Definitely one of my favourite and best ramen you can find in perth , i went there many times and tried all type of ramen , nothing to complain about it 👌🍜🤤
M. G.
Average ramen restaurant. Decent taste and portions. The pork meat is not so tasty. I guess it's OK as it is outside Japan.
K. I. -. I.
Sad to see our neighbour move from next door to 100m from us. Tried various ramen around town and theirs is still the best. Spicy Miso with Cha Siew is my favourit
R. K.
Traditional broth seasonings (ship, shoyu, miso, etc.) but a milder broth base so don't go expecting tonkotsu. Standard offering is pretty good, although no eggs available
S. B.
Enjoyed ramen here during our trip to Perth. Particularly enjoyed the vegetarian one which was made with some kind of seaweed base i believe
c. k.
I come to Nao for noodle regularly, their standards are consistent, staff are very friendly, after moving to the Hay St Arcade, the place has modern decor. Highly recommended!
G.
Best Ramen in Perth. Nice to see Map upgraded his restaurant from the smaller one around the corner.
B. M.
Big portions, really tasty authentic ramen and quick service even when busy. You may need to queue outside for 10 mins to wait for a table
M. A. G.
Food is okay, I'll return to try out more flavors. Price is okay, similar to the neighboring restaurants.
Very busy during lunch time, and I felt like I was being rushed to take my order and finish my meal.
V. S.
Great Ramen, unfortunately not open for dinner.
L. K.
They have really nice noodles. Wish they had more vegetarian broth/base choices but really great food nonetheless
S. C.
One of my favourite restaurants in perth, I wish I lived in the apartment buildings on top of the restaurant so I could eat their regulary. Foods amazing, staff super friendly, only downside if you go their at lunch have to wait quite a while to be served.
A. R.
High quality food, large portions, very affordable. Best ramen value in Perth!
F. D.
Excellent Miso based ramen. Spicy ramen especially tasty. Outside and inside limited seating. Very busy at lunchtime.
Service is very quick and efficient. Enjoy.
C. B.
The Red chili spicy ramen is amazing. Order this with red noodles and extra chicken, you'll love it!
C. M.
Best ramen in Perth, authentic Japanese flavor in a mixed match between Japanese and western environment. Love it there.
B. H.
Best ramen in Perth since forever but some up and coming competitors are hot on their heels!
m.
Nice place for a lunch. Good portion sizes and noodles are cooked well. Extras are a little expensive though
C. L.
Pretty good Ramen with good attentive service. Gets very busy.
T. B.
Good portion sizes and food was delicious. Service was really fast. This place is amazing. The service is genuine and welcoming, the staff incredibly friendly

Solid ramen not my favorite but close second and one of the most consistently good ramen places in perth
Q. P.
Close to our hotel. Good service and good food. Reasonable price.
P. a. A.
If you like ramen, This restaurant is recommend. Tasty ramen. However a little bit pricy and you would need to wait a bit long if you come during lunch time
E. L.
Every bowl of ramen I've had since my first bowl at Nao, has been compared to Nao. No other restaurant is yet to surpass their amazing ramen!
R. S.
Delicious, huge portions of ramen for very reasonable price. Don't fret: outside queue moves fast
F.
1rst time good service nice food and Ambience
P. S.
Always good for ramen. Long queues are worth the wait. Spicy with chilli noodles best for the cold weather!
C. 3.
One of the best Spicy Ramen I have had in Perth. Staff are also very good and friendly.
J. P.
NAO Ramen is one if not the best Ramen going around. Fantastic service and great quality Ramen with the ability to make it your own.
C. J.
Best ramen in town. Had tried another ramen place just opened at Vic park but Nao is still our prefered ramen/Japanese restaurant.
l. c.
Tasty ramen and nice environment. Homemade noodles. Good value for money.
E. M.
Lovely staff and service. Lots of options to customize your own Ramen.
R. C.
Authentic hand made Japanese ramen, delicious broths and sides too, particularly the takoyaki and the pork spare ribs.
t.
Still the best ramen in Perth. Moderately priced, and now has enough seating.
M. M.
The best ramen in the city with affordable price. Give generous amount of meat for chasu ramen and the karaage was good as well
Z. P.
This place has the best ramen you will ever have in your life. Even when I go to Japan (and I go a lot )I always compare it to the Roman here
B. L.
Liked the texture of ramen, although karage chicken were a touch too salty
D.
Best Spicy Ramen I have ever eaten and I have been to Japan to try the Ramen there and still prefer the one here better......
L. H.
It was my first time in a Japanese Restaurant. Big and very tasty portions. Lovely staff. Would come back! :) { IG: di1aria }

M. D.
Delicious ramen made in house. A lot of choice with very friendly amd efficient service. Affordable too.
s. s.
Easily the best ramen i have had in Perth. Well deserving of its flawless reputation.
L. G.
Miso broth is very bland. Noodles are good. Gyoza are average.
M. M.
Waiting for it to open. Going to wow my food blogging friend and show her that nao ramen is so good. I’m feeling a five stars now..
L. W.
One of my favorite ramen in Perth.
c.
Its almost like the real thing... big portions, affordable and quick to serve... my problem was its soo good... everyone else is waiting too, so there was a bit of a wait to get in... but once your in, your in and out real quick
V. Z.
Absolutely delicious ramen we have been three times already!!!
S. E.
Authentic and delicious ramen, incredibly filling and well priced. Perfect lunch spot.
J. H.
Miso Ramen with chilli noodles was great, will go with extra meat next time as only had one slice of pork
T. N.
Nice staff, quick service and very delicious ramen i ever have. I will return for ramen in future 🤗🤗
R. P.
The best ramen in town
J. T.
This place is my go to for ramen. Well priced and delicious. If you like ramen, this place is a must.
F. R.
Please, make the potato salad more potatoes than salad, also air conditioning more cool than warm. Thanks
K. S.
Good food
P.
Best ramen noodles outside of Japan! Get there before opening time to avoid a wait because this place is popular!
Z. L.
Friendly and tasty bowls of ramen. Expect to wait a little bit as the shop is quite small but lots of customers.
H. Y.
Very cosy atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and although the ramen was on the expensive side, it was pleasant.
B. P.
Always great miso ramen
C. C.
NAO is reasonably priced and quality traditional ramen. It’s a bit overrated though.
S. C.
Best Ramen and Takoyaki in Perth by far. If you love ramen you have to go here!
M. l.
Quality customer service pretty much no waiting time at all for the food and it was so much for such a low price. Very suitable for groups definitely going back
A. M.
Best Ramen I’ve eaten! Got ramen addicted because of NAO❤️ Highly recommended
K. K.
They make their own ramen noodle, good quality food and atmosphere!
r.
Very nice ramen!
A. v. E.
Delicious ramen and awesome staff. Definitely will go again
O. M.
I've been going to Nao for about 8 years. Best Ramen in Perth, Spicey Ramen with green noodles!!!
B. S.
Rate some dishes and food is fresh, just needs some love with spacing during these times.
E. P.
