We had a lovely lunch today at the Pavilion Restaurant. The students did a wonderful job. They were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. They were very accommodating to our baby even getting him his own cup to drink from. Thank you we will be back :)

Last month I went for lunch with some Community Club members. I have enjoyed the Carvery/Buffett lunch. Pavilion Restaurant is Joondalup TAFE training restaurant. The food, table & bar services & atmosphere in the restaurant was excellent. The students were friendly & polite. There was accessibility facilities & parking at the restaurant . Excellent parking for the patrons. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends & family to have a meal there to support the students. The restaurant will reopen when semester begins in February 2020.

We went to the Pavilion for lunch knowing that it was prepared and served by students studying the different aspects of the hospitality industry. I was expecting a nice meal with good service but thought there would be a room for improvement as they are on a learning curve. The presentation and standard of the food would put quite a few restaurants to shame we could not fault any part of the food or service. Great value for money and also good knowing that it helps the students get real life experience. It is on my list of places to revisit.

Went down with a group of 5. $30 each for a three course meal. Fantastic service from the students. We felt very welcomed and well looked after. The food was very good, value for money without a doubt. I've paid $25-30 for one dish at restaurants which weren't as good as the meals served here. Would definitely recommend this place, very impressed.

We had a beautiful meal on Wednesday night 31st March. The staff/students on the floor were excellent. The ambience was lovely and the food was delicious. What a lovely experience, we will be back.

Wow! The Pavilion never fails to impress! Went there yesterday for lunch with a group of friends. We are all very traveled and have eaten in fine restaurants all over the globe. Our general consensus was that the food was AMAZING, very tasty, superbly presented and it didn't take long at all to be served with fantastic service and lots of smiles from the wait staff. Our main waiter was Aaron, who is going places for sure! What he didn't know, he promptly 'ran off' to find out. My compliments to all the students and the highest praise for their trainers. North Metro TAFE is going to graduate a few great Master Chefs of the future here in WA. Who cares if the students are trainees the food is better tasting than most fine dining establishments here in Perth and the customer service, despite the nerves, is commendable. Enough said, well done Pavilion!! My favourite restaurant - great ambience and view of the bush/pond. The prices are so inexpensive, I feel like I am robbing the joint!

We had a lovely meal at thus venue. All the food was well cooked and delicious. The service just needed some polish. Most of waiting staff were a little nervous. Very good value. Where else would you get a 3 course meal for $30. You would certain pay more else where and the service would be very ordinary. These guys really try.

My work colleagues and I just had lunch at the Pavilion Restaurant today (9 of us) and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the service, venue, cost and atmosphere. These previously written negative reviews are out dated and wrong for how the current students deliver in 2015! The only thing that may need a little extra work is the individual requests for cooking for steak, but lets be fair, that's a tough one to get right unless you have had plenty of chances at perfecting the technique! Good job all of you, we really enjoyed our time and meals, and what great value for money!

Dined there yesterday with a group for Christmas lunch. The food and service were both superb and the price amazingly reasonable. I ate tacos for starters with two sauces which were out of this world followed by Malaysian fish curry - which again was simply first class. Thank you guys

Went there for lunch today with 7 others. The service and food were exceptional. Our waitperson Aaron couldnt have been more attentive. He was polite, patient and met with every request with professionalism and promptness. The food was well presented and portions were good. The carvery was excellent - roast pork well cooked and succulent with tasty salad and roast potatos and pumpkin as well as cheese scones which were delicious. For the price, this has to be the best value meal in Perth, coupled with a lovely setting and modt of all, top service. Would be happy to return to this restaurent many times over

I went along with the Red Hats last week, when the students were doing their practical exam. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, & the students were wonderful, HOWEVER, I was both shocked & annoyed with the response I received from the tutor. I had ordered the sirloin steak, but quickly discovered that a quarter of it was pure gristle. Much as I hate sending food back, I had no option. The student was phased by this & so the female tutor came over. Firstly, she decided to give me the anatomy of the cow & how it had been cut incorrectly. Secondly, she said she would get the chef to cut it off. WRONG, WRONG ,WRONG!!!! In any other restaurant, the plate would have been removed, with no questions asked, & replaced. This tutor was definitely not doing her job properly. Disappointing to say the least.

This is a student run restaurant at the Joondalup Tafe campus the food is sublime and the price is more than affordable. Student chefs whip up amazing creations and student waitstaff ensure a very enjoyable evening.
